Unsolved What should I do with WordPress Blog homepage

Hi,
I have a large WordPress blog with thousands of posts. By default, the blog homepage contains the excerpt of each posts. As there are so many posts, the homepage is paginated(Totally 1341 pages)
I use siteliner to check and find a lot of duplicate contents on the blog homepage. So, what should I do with it? Should I noindex the homepage and all the paginated pages accordingly?

Hi, so we can only mention the solution that we found for our business. So, it might not be the same for your business, but our organic seo for business was badly affected by very slow website hosting.

I hope everyone is doing well. I could really use some expert advice here.
So, I've got this WordPress website, https://leshorairepriere.fr/ , and I've been facing a bit of a head-scratcher. Occasionally, the homepage decides to take a breather and refuses to load, while the rest of the pages are as chipper as ever you may check at: Horaire des Prières Marseille.
I've played detective and tried my best to sniff out the issue, but it's playing hard to get.

️Has anyone encountered something similar? Any ideas on where I might start digging to get this sorted out? Your insights would be absolute lifesavers!

@ccw Hi, why don't you use a theme that helps you solve that problem on your home page? A home page should show an excerpt or links to the most recent posts or content. That's the universally accepted industry standard.

PA and DA for Homepage
I've been looking at the PA and DA scores for the homepage of websites we have built and have been comparing this to competitors. What I'm finding is that the PA score is always higher than the DA, however on competitors sites the PA is much higher in relation to the DA. What could be the reason for this? For example, some of our website homepages may have PA / DA scores such as the following: Website #1: PA37 DA25 (PA:DA = 1.48)

Website #2: PA31 DA21 (PA:DA = 1.47) However competitors often have figures like this: Website #3: PA40 DA21 (PA:DA 1.9)
Website #4: PA 25 DA 11 (PA:DA 2.27) I even saw one website with the following scores: Website #5: PA36 DA5 (PA:DA 7.2) How do you explain such a high Page Authority in relation to the domain authority for that site? When I look at the scores for our websites I often feel that the DA is at a good level, but the PA for the homepage doesn't seem as high as it could be compared to competitors. My initial thought was that maybe we had a lot of backlinks to other pages on the website (not the homepage) but this is not the case at all - pretty much all our backlinks are to the homepage. What to do with blog content that is no longer relevant to our business
We are a marketing agency and we have LOTS of blog posts still on our website from when we used to specialize in e-commerce services. We've since shifted There are a lot of old and frankly irrelevant blog posts on our website. My questions: Should we remove these from the website so better "shape" our content profile towards the services we actually offer? Should we attempt to update them so they are still relevant even though we don't offer those services? If we get rid of those pages, what should we redirect them to? The main blog page?

Thousands of 404's showing up from Wordpress Blog!?!?
Hey guys, Have recently seen thousands of 404 errors thrown up from my wordpress blog in Google Search Console. These are URL's trying to link (i'm not sure where from) to other parts of my site, but they are not relative to the site root... infact they are a mix of random folders/subfolders and pages on my site. E.g: http://www.MYSITE.co.uk/blog/how-to/driving-to-the-alps/attachment/2013-land-rover-range-rover-evoque-front-snow-1/st-martin-de-belleville/chalet-st-martin-de-belleville/ski-holidays/ski-holidays/summer/st-martin-de-belleville/summer/your-stay-st-martin-de-belleville.html This is a link to a picture on the blog: http://www.MYSITE.co.uk/blog/how-to/driving-to-the-alps/attachment/2013-land-rover-range-rover-evoque-front-snow-1/ And the rest of it is finding it's own way there! Installing sub folder with the same wordpress installation
Dear Friends, My main wordpress install is at www.marketing91.com However, i want to expand the topic to include advertising as well. I was considering installing a sub domain but instead i have decided to install a sub folder. So, now the URL should read www.marketing91.com/advertising/ for the advertising blog. I have one question though. In the sub folder, can we use the same installation of wordpress as applicable on marketing91.com?? I have a wordpress installed at marketing91.com. I dont want another wordpress to be installed in marketing91.com/advertising/. Instead, i would like to manage both url from the same wordpress installation. So how do i do that? Duplicate content on ecommerce sites
I just want to confirm something about duplicate content. On an eCommerce site, if the meta-titles, meta-descriptions and product descriptions are all unique, yet a big chunk at the bottom (featuring "why buy with us" etc) is copied across all product pages, would each page be penalised, or not indexed, for duplicate content? Does the whole page need to be a duplicate to be worried about this, or would this large chunk of text, bigger than the product description, have an effect on the page. If this would be a problem, what are some ways around it? Because the content is quite powerful, and is relavent to all products... Cheers,
