Unsolved Apple Maps isn't syncing
-
Hi there! I have been using Mozlocal for a local client for a few months now. They recently opened, so I began the syncing process a few weeks ago. Apple Maps is reporting as synced when I view it in my Listings, but when viewing the actual listing on Apple Maps, the hours are very wrong. It is an important time of year for this business, and appearing as not open for 6 days a week is not great. Is there anything else I can do through Mozlocal to get this listing fully synced?

Manually verify the listing on Apple Maps and update directly.
Resubmit changes through Mozlocal to ensure re-syncing.
Contact Mozlocal support if issues persist to troubleshoot further. This can help with improving your local seo. -
@sarahwalsh Good question. I believe that has been done already, but I will double check! Thanks for the suggestion!

If Apple Maps isn’t syncing, try these quick fixes:
Check iCloud Settings: Ensure Maps is enabled in iCloud under Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
Update iOS: Make sure you have the latest iOS version, as updates can resolve syncing issues.
Check Internet Connection: Syncing requires a stable internet connection, so verify your Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Restart Devices: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to refresh the system.
Sign Out and Back into iCloud: Sometimes, signing out and back in can re-trigger sync.
Reset Location & Privacy: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy.
If none of these work, contact Apple Support for further assistance. -

Hi! It sounds frustrating to deal with incorrect hours on such an important platform. While MozLocal reports the listing as synced, it’s possible that the data hasn't fully propagated to Apple Maps yet. Here's what you can try:Check for Manual Edits: Sometimes, listings might be manually edited by Apple users or local guides. Verify if any manual changes were made to the business hours on Apple Maps.
Resubmit Through MozLocal: Go back to your MozLocal dashboard and manually re-sync the data to Apple Maps. You can also update the business hours to ensure everything is correctly entered before resubmitting.
Apple Maps Connect: If MozLocal continues to show syncing issues, consider logging into Apple Maps Connect and manually update the hours there. This can help you regain control over the listing directly.
Wait and Monitor: It might take some time for Apple Maps to reflect the correct information. Monitor it for a few days after re-syncing or manual updates.
For those looking for an easy-to-use app with features like background music and multilingual support, check out YMusic for iOS. It might not solve your Apple Maps issue, but it's great for background entertainment while troubleshooting!>

How to Sync Hot Frog with Moz Listing score
Hi, I have a Client who owns two restaurant locations. And have been updating and verifying their listings while using Moz's Listing Scores to validate improvements. 1st Locations' Moz listing score can be found here: https://goo.gl/h17VZj 2nd Locations' score can be found here: https://goo.gl/ZnQMpi Both have Hot Frog Listings 1st Locations Hot Frog Account: https://www.hotfrog.com/business/nv/henderson/me-gusta-tacos_43095742 2nd Hot Frog Account https://www.hotfrog.com/business/nv/las-vegas/me-gusta-tacos One thing is that although I have created a Hot Frog account for the 1st location, the Hot Frog account does not propagate with Moz's Listing analysis. On the other hand, the Second Location's Moz Listing shows that there is indeed a Hot Frog Account Not sure why one shows up, while the other does not. ZaULBWm d8aPpbG

Foursquare syncing on Moz Local
I searched the boards here and I couldn't find a question about one of my most persistent issues with Moz Local. As an SEO at a small agency, I'm typically managing between 5-6 different Moz Local campaigns from one dashboard. I have found the Foursquare syncing process to be extremely troublesome. Has anyone cracked it? I was only able to get 1 of my 5 current campaigns to sync. And I did it a while ago so I've forgotten how I did it. Here's how the process has been going for me. This is going to be lengthy (sorry) but I want you all to have all the deets. I see an alert in the Foursquare sync box on my left hand menu. I click it. It takes me to this page: https://moz.com/local/bulk/managed/oauth/foursquare. I see a message that reads "4 Listings need access to Foursquare". I click the button in this message that says "+ Foursquare account". I add a personal Foursquare account because apparently you need a pesonal account before you can set up a business account (a la Facebook?). I successfully go through steps to add a Foursquare account. If I click the little gear in the "4 Listings need access to Foursquare" box it shows that I have 3 connected Foursquare accounts. But this appears to be as far as I can go. What's next? Above the "4 Listings need access to Foursquare" box there's another box that says "2 Foursquare account have no matching listings." This box isn't clickable. There appears to be no next step here. I'm super frustrated by this user experience. Am I supposed to creating Foursquare Accounts with the business name some how?

Validation needed - listing not found on google or facebook, but I'm looking at my google my business listing. Whats going on?
It is telling me "we were unable to validate the following listings with google or facebook", but the information matches my google my business listing exactly (for as much as I can tell) why won't it let me validate? I know I have a google my business listing as I am the manager of it and i synced it to moz local via google my business. So why is it not validating when i know for a fact it is listed in Google? Sharper Impressions Painting Inc 6292 Valleyview Dr, Fishers, IN 46038 (317)423-0230. My other 4 sharper impressions listings were validated (even the kansas city one that is still waiting to be verified on google my business) so I am at a loss as to why this one will not validate. Please advise.
