Hi Guys
I manage a few facebook pages and a day ago something weird happened to one and i cannot figure it out. It started with me trying to auto share a youtube video to the facebook page and offcourse added the "comment" and shared. The video is then visible when i log in to the page but not when i am not...and it also does not share to the followers....and then the same happened with a normal link and image post....I see it when logged in but it does not get sent to my followers or to the page if not logged in....am i missing something here.
Should i just log in and then click on share and see if that send it out?? please help...facebook drives me crazy half the time..thanks in advance

Agreed, this is a question that's best for Facebook support -- that'll be your fastest and most accurate way to resolve this problem.

I would suggest you contact Facebook support instead. While somebody might have an idea here, they will be able to help you for sure.

Facebook Instant Articles Not Working
I'm getting the following error on Instant Articles despite my site having substantial traffic and hundreds of articles. The provided URL is not being accepted because the site has minimal readership, which violates the Instant Article Policies (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instant-articles/policy/). Please provide a different URL. Here's the blog: http://bit.ly/2Mh1Aes

Facebook Virality Metrics Compared To Open Rates
I'm trying to put Facebook's Virality Metrics in a framework I understand better. In email marketing, if you consistently get 25% to 30% open rates on newsletters, you're doing solid in most industries. What would you all say the equivalent for that is in Facebook Virality? Thanks, Ruben P.S. If it's drastically higher than 4% - 6%, I'm going to be very sad.

Opinions on offering an incentive/discount for Facebook sharing
I often see sites offering a discount for liking their Facebook page, but very rarely do I see sites offering a discount for sharing a link or their page. What are your opinions of this, is it something that Facebook could frown upon? Are people likely to just share, get the discount and then remove the post etc?

Short Facebook page name/vanity URL
Does anyone know how to go about getting a page name on Facebook of less than 5 characters? I saw Moz was able to claim facebook.com/moz (BTW, congrats on the redesign!), and many other brands also have claimed page names under 5 characters. Has anyone else had success claiming a short page name? Do you have to know the right person at Facebook, or are there other requirements? We have around 35K likes on our page, and our site gets a pretty good amount of traffic. My boss doesn't like any of my ideas that are 5+ characters... she really wants the short URL. If anyone has any insights on what I need to do (or who I need to talk to at Facebook), I'd really appreciate it!

Same posts on facebook and google+. Is this a problem?
I plan to publish same posts on facebook and google+. As they are in 10 different languages, I would rather not make modifications for facebook and google+ respectively. Do you see any problems with this? Do you think it matters whether I first publish on google+ or first on facebook? Any problem if I publish posts on one social media account which I already published in another social media account for another company of mine some months ago? thanks

Contacting Facebook
Does anyone know how to make meaningful contact with Facebook??? Last month I tried to set up a couple Facebook PPC campaigns for a couple clients only to find out that I can't because another client of mine for whom I set up a Facebook PPC campaign last fall has an outstanding balance of a whopping $30. To be clear, I was only an admin on the client's Facebook page. Their credit card (not mine) was in use, and they didn't pay their bill. So now, Facebook is holding that against me. I've contacted them through one of the help forms on the site. They clearly don't understand where I'm coming from. I've now sent them 3 emails, and now I'm not receiving a response. I just recently resorted to sending a direct message through Facebook to Facebook Marketing. No response. It really does boggle my mind how they're penalizing me, and in turn, my clients, because another former client of mine from nearly a year ago has a $30 balance. I'm not even an admin on the one client's Facebook page anymore?! With AdWords, I regularly have clients who owe Google money but that doesn't affect all of my other clients.

How can I gain links by creating infographics and/or memes?
It seems that both infographics and memes seem to be popular methods of creating good quality links at the moment, but how can you actually gain links by using these? When people share the graphics they will need to put an extra link in back to you and obviously most will be via social media so will not be worth that much to Google? Do I need to email these out to blogs etc?

Google does not index individual facebook posts often?
It looks like google (regular organic) does not index individual posts from facebook pages often, more likely the wall of the page itself or separate pages. Can someone confirm this?
