How to improve (ASAP) the linking root domain, the followed linking root domains and the linking C-Blocks? Linkbuilding (or whatever) techniques.
-
I have a small site (.com) like any website in my sector. 30-90 pages.
I have no crawls errors. Everythings is fine, just I need to improve my linking root domain, the followed linking root domain and the linking C-Blocks.
Example: my competitors have 300 (one of them have 1300) of total links. I have 30.
Anyone know some good strategies? techniques? tips?
I just dont want to be in a farm directory, I want free links.
I'm already running two strategies but it works so slowly. I want something faster at this moment.
Also, any recommendation will be thankful.

How do I find good legal blogs and community blog which I can do this with?
-
Add your competitors into this tool here:
http://www.seomoz.org/labs/link-intersect
This will find the most common linking pages between your ranking top 5 competitors, which means you have a higher chance of getting a link as multiple competitors have links off these pages.
Aim for the pages which have the higher mozrank
Do this first as it's the lowest possible hanging fruit you can find.

Thanks Dan. I know that and I'm doing that too (not filling all the blogs comments fields).
The question is how to find sites that allow this kind of links?
- the linking root domain.
- the followed linking root domains and
- the linking C-Blocks

Some people find blogs that allow commenting (most Wordpress blogs allow you to put your name, email address, and website URL along with your comment.) You can also look for community websites in your niche (forums work great, and most allow you to drop a URL in your profile and/or Sig - sometimes you can even get anchor text links this way.) Social Bookmarking may or may not work, I personally would avoid that route as I haven't had nearly as much success with it when compared to blogs and community sites.

Subdomain with higher domain authority vs. ccTLD with lower domain authority
Our website is active in many countries and we are considering if it is worth it to switch from ccTLD to subdomains. The reason is that our company.com domain has a domain authority of 65 and some of the ccTLD's like company.fr and company.de etc have a domain authority of 30. From what I have read, moving these to a subdomain structure like fr.company.com and de.company.com will give them all the same domain authority (of 65 vs 30) which is considerably higher. 1. Would a subdomain with domain authority 65 rank better than a ccTLD with authority 30 (considering all else is the same)? 2. When we 301 redirect all ccTLD's to the subdomains, will our domain authority increase (to more than 65) for company.com, given that it can benefit from all redirected links to our ccTLD's? Thanks in advance!

Internal linking anchor text with automated ASP.NET link building
Hi Everyone I really need some help here, the problem I have must be one that many have. I have a simple e-commerce style website so 1 product page can in fact get 40-50 internal links to it. These links come from a mixture of: 1. The parent category pages that the product sits on (Rugged PDA) and in turn the 10 filter pages of this category page (Rugged PDA, ordered by battery size). 2. Alternative product list on other product pages, So many products link to each other as alternatives. From Google analytics we can see that visitors like to browse product to product seeing 5 alternatives on each page with titles like "Smaller", "more rugged" etc. 3. Manufactuer pages, so we have a link to each product from each manufacturer home page where we talk lots about each manufacture we resell. We also have links from images used in the website. So its a nice usable website but we're finding that Google is still telling us in Webmaster tools that it thinks some links are dubious and we're trying to find out why. We only now have 190 external links to the website, most are internal and from the website or our blog on a subdomain. The problem we think is that we generate the category and products pages all dynamically so the anchor text is looking the same. Will this potentially create issues for us? Dave

How can I find all the outbound links from a website domain?
I want to find all the outbound links (basically whatever comes in <a>tag) from a domain (say www.abc.com) as well as all the subdomains under it (say abc.com/a etc). Open Site Explorer provides the inbound links from a website but does not provide any functionality to get all the outbound links from a website. Is it possible to do?</a> <a>Thanks in advance. Root Domain Link for Affiliate's Link
It seems my affiliate link: http://www.hrmsplugins.com?partners=21 is not being considered as a "root domain" backlink when this link is used on their website. Is there a reason for this?

Twitter followers and link campaigns
Hi All, This may be a silly question but I like to ask the obvious 🙂 If i had acround 3,000 twitter followers and wanted to embark on a link campaign, would it be wise to simply tweet out to all and essentially say, please link to my site XXXX or would it be better to select individual followers and email them directly? I was wondering if its just a 'win win' with tweeting followers or whether poor links from some users might cause more harm than good. Thanks all

Reciprocal Links Or One Way Links?
After reading a recent blog post on guest blogging and ways to build relationships for link building purposes, I began to wonder about something. It is my understanding that one way backlinks are superior to reciprocal linkage, but reciprocal is better than no link at all. So is it still worthwhile to do reciprocal guest blogging, and will the value of the links be worth it when completed? Or should we just be of the opinion that: One Way Link > Reciprocal > No link

Why does opensiteexplorer tell me I have 292 linking domains and google webmasteer tools says 528?
Does anyone have any idea why opensiteexplorer has a specific number of linking domains while google webmaster tools say another? I understand opensiteexplorer needs to update itself, but I have seen this discrepancy for months! Any ideas?
