How can I pass the Search Term into a lead form?

We receive lead forms from interested visitors that include their name, email, grade level, and academic goals, and we would like to also know which specific phrase they used when searching for us.
I need to find a way to grab the referring keywords and pass them as a hidden form field.
Can this be done, and are there scripts available that can do this?

Hi Bryce,
I had the exact same question and couldn't find any simple solutions so I went ahead and created a free tool that does exactly this. It captures information submitted through a lead form along with where they came from and if they came from a search engine, it automatically tracks the exact keyword phrase they searched for. Then all of the lead information is sent to you in an email as well as stored in a very basic database for you to manage them. It's still a work in progress but it accomplishes what I want it to do for the time being.

I'm wondering whether paid analytics platforms out there may have a solution. Seems to me a tracked entrance path could retain keyterms for a goal-tracking report.
Also, entrance terms would be relevant to dynamic landing pages, something many affiliate sites use, and if conversion requires a sign-up, then clearly those tools would exist to capture the dynamic terms and dB them for CPA metrics.
In other words, I am sure this exists, but am guessing the resource would be a paid analytics module maybe within an ecommerce/affiliate platform.

Can Very High Impressions and 0% Organic CTR Impact our SEO Rankings?
I have a very strange feeling that someone bad is trying to hurt our company, but maybe I am wrong. Let me explain. In the last two month, we have seen a very significant drop in sales on our website, but we couldn't figure out why. We have looked at different metrics (Google Search Console, Moz, Google Analytics), but everything looked alright. We had 10% loss in traffic, but we didnt believe at the time that it could be the main issue. Just yesterday we've discovered the following (please see attached screenshot😞 On August 18, 2018 Google launched Search Update On the same date, we had a jump in Organic Search Impressions for one particular keyword, which we never tracked before: "free facebook login". Majority of all impressions (233,000 out of 258,000) were from Philippines. Very low total number of clicks (50 clicks) led to 0% Average CTR for this keyword. Which in return, also lowered our global CTR by 1%. One month later we had 1000's of spam emails sent to our Helpdesk from two IP addresses, also from Philippines. We blocked them of course. It could be all coincidence. I dont know. But do you think that someone can use this fraudulent tactic to lower our CTR and drop our ranking and traffic? Can this influence our SEO in any way? It's also possible that someone is attacking Facebook and we just happen to be there, on the first page, for the same keyword. Should we try to eliminate our page for this keyword and see what happens? I've checked this article from Rand Fishkin - https://moz.com/blog/impact-of-queries-and-clicks-on-googles-rankings-whiteboard-friday and it seems that CTR is an important factor. Google-powered search bar suddenly returning totally different results than usual - User Intent?
Our website has a Google powered search bar and for some popular keywords it has always returned the same results but for the past week it has been returning totally different and nonsensical results with the previous top 2 entries now on the 2nd and 4th pages of the results. It seems to be mixing up two separate keywords which the same user may search for but which both mean two very different things. Is this a User Intent issue do you think? Anyone know if there's anything we can do to stop it? I'm guessing not...

Tracking Form Submissions to Source with WP
Hi all! I know that we can use conversion tracking in analytics to track form submissions by source, but when a specific form comes through for someone (say Susan Smith) who messaged us looking for info about product xyz...is there a way to connect the data so I can figure out exactly which source brough Susan specifically? Does anybody know of a reliable website phone call lead tracking service that integrates with Google Analytics?
We are trying to get more detailed data about where direct website phone calls are coming from (not just Adwords call extensions). We know there are a few services available that do this. However are there any recommendations for a reliable one? We would like to show our clients Google Analytics conversion metrics that shows incoming phone calls from different campaigns.

How can I find the redirect that removes special parameter from Adwords?
My main problem is Google Analytics doesn't show data from Google Adwords because a redirect in my site removes the special parameter(gclid) supplied by Adwords. Here's an email from one of Google Adwords representative: "When I reviewed your website, I found that a redirect set up on your site is removing auto-tagging information from your URLs. Auto-tagging automatically adds a parameter to the end of each of your AdWords destination URLs in order to identify visitors as AdWords referrals. The tag captures keyword, campaign, ad content information, and your ad's position when a user clicked it. The parameter used in auto-tagging is called "gclid." However, due to your website's redirect, the "gclid" parameter is being removed from the URL. As a result, Google Analytics is unable to properly track visitors reaching your site through AdWords. We suggest contacting your webmaster to append the "gclid" parameter to the redirected URL. If this isn't possible, you may want to consider removing the use of the redirect." Thanks in advance!

How can I Monetize My Site with The Type of Traffic it Receives?
I was just in here yesterday asking a question, so I appreciate everyone's patience with this newbie! This is a totally different site that I have a question about so here goes: I have a site that has started to receive large amounts of traffic from an image search. My intention was to use Amazon for products based on my website theme. I haven't been getting traffic from my intended keywords. Now I rank #2 for an image search, loads of traffic! GREAT! But what next? These ppl. aren't looking to buy stuff, they just want the image. Fine, it is a public domain image. I thought of adding some more informational articles and using adsense to bring in some cash. Any opinions on the best way to go with this site? I only have 3 articles up so it could go in any direction from here. Thanks!!!
