Hi Stephanie, I wanted to ask just so I know how are you liking WP engine so far compared to blue host? Your feedback would be very appreciated. I wish you the best doing well on a managed WordPress does that tops the charts. I can even show you some tricks on there if you want of ways to do things that are easier than others. If you're interested let me know.

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is you show up fine in Yahoo and Bing unfortunately you have to click one more button to show perfectly in Google. However I'm using the tool that I strongly strongly suggest that you use

I believe that it is a matter of time however I would adjust your robot text to suit the information found at yoast.com below and in addition to that I would add your site map
so your robot text looks like this.

I'm going to tell you something that work for friend that is a real oddball. Cloudflare.com the company that supposedly offers you a free CDN that I would not really count as a true CDN but will keep your site safer and possibly speed up depending on the configuration. Does submit your site to Google and did help a friend of mine. This is a last ditch effort however I know it did work so I don't think couldn't in the future and if you're not using a good anycast DNS system is really no harm in using it.

outstanding idea. I mixes one up with one that I actually give the same advice to. I would check Google Webmaster tools in addition to that I would check your sites domain name using Sucuri I feel there are one of the best in the business and 100% free to check your site for problems. If there are issues I would suggest using them as well as they are merely $89 a year per site. You can use the URL below to scan your website and make sure there's no malware offending Google.

I think Francisco is most likely right and it is just Google has not come back and index the site yet. Because of the large amount of sites out there who will takes a bit every once in a while to properly index your website.

I apologize that I could not write more guys however I have a huge business meeting today and the fact that I will be tested today big-time does not give me much time to response unfortunately however I will when I can. I can tell you from experience that I had an intern do some updates on the site. Found out my site was not ranking for what it should be ranking for did a quick scan of the site found a bunch of no follows and no index within approximately 5 days the site was back to where it was prior to the abrupt change.

Were the keywords exact match to the domain?
When you say the new site how new are we talking about?
You put this under black hat white hat please don't take offense to this, but is there anything you want to tell me that you've done to the site that Google might not like?
When you are hacked did you completely clean up everything are you certain it is clean? If not please run your domain through this and tell me if you get any thing like black listing or something similar to tell if there is anything negative from a hack still affecting your website please use the link below type your domain name and and and enter allow it to process
After that please use this tool and remember it takes a little bit so don't. Refresh or the back button unless you're certain it is done. This will tell us rather not your site has been told to blocked access to Google bot

that is very kind of you. I think WP engine is definitely only the right choice. I wanted to update you on one more quick thing. WP engine does not supply a DNS server so you can do one of several things. You can upgrade to a managed DNS server for almost no cost at all $25 a year gets you DNS made easy a company that has a superb 11 near uptime reputation and truly is faster than many other more expensive hosted DNS companies. My favorite is DynECT however they are $30 a month instead of $25 a year.
I spoke to DNS made easy and asked them if they would allow you to sub account people they said they would do it. So I would contact them if you choose to go with them and asked them to allow you to give your clients access to their own account and you access to the master that way you do not have to update their DNS for them every time they do something.
If you don't feel like spending the $25 a year I would strongly suggest using cloudflare.com however turn off all of the orange clouds that will automatically come on when you activate it The DNS is any cast and very fast in addition to being 100% free four as many states as you would like to use. In addition, it has an uncanny ability to replicate the older DNS server almost perfectly every time saving tons of time and making it easier on everyone. put the name servers into your current DNS registrar.
Last but not least I would use your current DNS however I would that most of it is through blue host because I have never journeyed down that trail I do not know if they allow you access to the DNS or not. If they do not all is definitely not lost simply create free accounts on cloudflare or DNS made easy place the name servers in where it shows name servers on your registrar and you may have to wait a couple hours to 24 hours. It's normally on the shorter side.
I wanted to tell you another thing because it is in my opinion not a good practice to host your e-mail address off of your Web server's IP as is done in many shared hosting environments. This leads to people being blacklisted because of other spammers that they have no control over.
I would recommend using either a hosted e-mail service that you're currently using maybe you're using Google apps? Which is an excellent deal however if you do not want pay any more money but still want great e-mail. I personally like

I hope this DNS and e-mail does not scare you at all. The fact is this is how it should be being run from day one. All systems are independent if one person goes on spamming rampage they will never affect anyone else. Please remember you can use your DNS from your current registrar and you can also get free non-any cast DNS from name cheap.com so no one should have any problems with any of this. I am currently writing a blog on this so I cannot give you every bit of information that I normally would. But I can share this with you visitors the facts about these hosting companies.
if you are managing only WordPress sites and nothing else. Or just the majority of WordPress sites like 80 to 90%. I would strongly suggest going with a manage WordPress host. for all non-WordPress websites personally I use firehost.com I find them to be fantastic. I would strongly recommend datapipe.com, bluebox.net, Pair.com, singlehop.com
I agree with Webby www.servint.net is a great company that does not offer shared hosting only VPS.
I don't recommend shared hosting unless you are using a managed WordPress host which in that case it is far different than using a company like blue host.
if you do not want at 100% WordPress web host I would recommend bluebox.net they, are, in the same office building as SEOmoz, but the real advantage is there built off of bare metal have a content delivery network built-in and really do know what they're doing when it comes to Hosting.
I would then choose pair.com their proven uptime is unbelievable and rivals that, of posts like data pipe which start at $1000 a, month. However, Pair starts at $10 a month and goes up.
again I can't tell you how strongly I feel towards using a managed WordPress host for hosting WordPress it's simply night and day. However I can tell you with complete confidence that every host I have mentioned does a fantastic job.

Why would you take an existing HTML website and convert it into WordPress out of curiosity?
I'm not saying there aren't advantages toward press I love WordPress for it much to HTML however if you're going to do a web project like that you and want to start with a clean slate yours has anchor text stating that the website is going to be turned from HTML to WordPress that's not good.
I would strongly consider having somebody like Joost audit the site and then fix it. Or simply have a developer pull the good code. The stylesheet will tell the website will look along with CSS with that start you can• with a fresh and get it right

I too have not had any luck with Screaming Frog actually checking every link that it claims it will. You're exactly right it will check the homepage or the single link that you choose. However it will not from my experience check everything. I have a friend who has the paid version I will ask him.
I'll be sure to let you know. Because I do agree with you I just found this out myself in fact it is misleading to say check all and really check just one.
Excellent tutorial by the way of how to do this seemingly easy task however when attempted is truly not easy at all.

I did become extremely hastily when I wrote my 1st answer I copy and pasted off of a dictation software that I use. I then went on to wrongfully say this is the correct way to do something. However screaming frog SEO spider
Is a tool that I referenced early on this tool allows you to see 100% of all the links you are hosting at the time you run the scan.
And includes the ability to check if it is indexed with Google, Bing and Yahoo when I referenced this software nobody took notice as I probably looked like I did not know what I was talking about.
In hindsight I should have kept bringing up screaming frog however I did not I simply brought up other ways to check lost links. In my opinion going into Google and clicking one by one on what you do or do not know is indexed is a very long and arduous task.
Screaming frog allows you to click internal links then right-click check if indexed there will be a table that comes down on the right side. You can select from the 3 big search engines you can do many more things with this fantastic tool but I did not illustrate as well as I am right now exactly how this tool should be used or what its capabilities are. I truly thought once I had referenced it somebody would look into it and they would see what I was speaking about however hindsight is 2020 I appreciate your comment very much and hope you can see that yes I'm here mistaken the beginning however I did come up with an automated tool to give him the answer the question asked.
Screaming frog can be used on PC, Mac or Linux it is free to download and comes in a pay version with even more abilities then water are showcased in the free edition. It is only 2 Mb in size and uses almost no RAM on a Mac I don't know how big it is on the PC

Google analytics should be able to tell you the answers to this as well. I'm sorry I do not think that earlier however I stand by my Google Webmaster tools especially after consulting with a few more people.
