If the domain is decades old it can have high DA. I guess there are many links to those old domains as well. So, I do recommend keeping them unless you did a study and found that they don't attract any traffic. However, that's very unlikely.

RE: Is it worth keeping a decades-old domain that's merely 301 redirecting to the main domain?

RE: Is it okay to update Page Titles and Meta descriptions over a period of time?
Too long titles are not recommended. The optimal length is around 50-60 characters: https://moz.com/learn/seo/title-tag
It's OK to update the title and metas over time. That's one of the common steps to improve SEO.

RE: Does same description in the directories of all affect SEO or not? - But unique on the website
I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you saying that your have around 50 pages with the same contents? Duplicate contents are not good for SEO: https://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content

RE: Do many nofollow links from one website will hurt my website SEO?
This blog article can clarify your doubts: https://moz.com/blog/nofollow-sponsored-ugc
For example, if Google suspects that those 20K links are sponsored but they are tagged as UGC, then there can be a penalty. If those links are legitimate and the website DA is high, then those links can actually improve your reputation regardless of the nofollow attribute.

Hello,
Same problem here. I've emailed help@moz.com requesting assistance.

RE: Do I need Yoast SEO video for YouTube videos?
SEO for videos is a little bit more complex than SEO for web pages because it's necessary to generate the thumbnail for Google, add some code for compatibility with Facebook and other social networks, make it responsive and so on. You can do it yourself or use a plugin to automate all the necessary tasks. I haven't used Yoast Video SEO though. So, I can't tell you how good it is.

RE: Content hubs vs blog
Both options have pros and cons. By embedding the articles into the relevant commercial sections you can burst the visibility of those sections (SEO). However, at the same time it will be harder to get backlinks from independent sources like blogs and news because they don't typically link to commercial contents.

RE: ECommerce Category Page H2
So, currently you are using div to wrap the links to the product pages and you want to replace div with h2, right?
Google does like H tags. It will pay more attention to an h2 than a simple div. That's good for SEO.
The problem is that in your case the product entries are almost empty. There is not much content under each product name. It's almost like using h2 instead of LI (list item). Google will not like that.
So, unless you are planning to write some descriptions under each product name I don't recommend using h2 in this case.

RE: My website spam score just increased all of a sudden from 1% to 67%
Disavowing the spammy domains is not supposed to reduce the spam score because Moz has no visibility of the GSC disavow list. If you disavow a spammy domain you can reduce its negative impact from the Google perspective, but your own spam score will remain unchanged.

RE: My website spam score just increased all of a sudden from 1% to 67%
First of all, Google doesn't use Moz spam score: https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/2440327?hl=en
So, if your Moz spam score is high because of "spammy" backlinks it doesn't mean that Google considers your site as spammy. You can check the spam score for every linking domain in the Link Explorer. If there are too "spammy" domains take the necessary actions (disavow them in GSC as the last resort).

RE: Website DA Decreased
This is a common question in this forum.
Maybe you got some new backlinks with low DA or maybe you've lost some high DA backlinks. You can start looking into your linking profile in the Moz Pro report. More info in this old thread: https://moz.com/community/q/why-my-domain-authority-da-is-decreased-from-21-to-19

RE: General questions about implementing hreflang using XML sitemap
The last URL entry is a duplicate of the first one. Everything else looks fine.
Keep in mind that this feature is Google specific. Other search engines may not understand this format.

RE: I have followed all the steps in google speed ranking on how to increase my website http://briefwatch.com/ speed but no good result
You can use the Web Console in Firefox to see the URL load speed. According to the screenshot attached there is no delay resolving the DNS and connecting to your website. However, there is huge delay of >5s waiting for the response. So, something must be wrong on the server side. I'd recommend checking the server logs (or the Nginx cache logs because there seem to be a cache).
Notice that this delay has nothing to do with the page size or contents. That's why following the steps to optimize the contents didn't help.

RE: My links are showing in ahref but not in moz.
Moz uses a crawler (bot) to discover links in a similar way as most search engines do. It takes time for the bot to discover new links. You can either wait for the bot to do its job or try to help it find your links sooner. The latter means promoting the sites/pages where the links are hosted and using the Link Tracking Lists in Moz Pro.

RE: Can we use Youtube Videos of google webmaster on blog post?
Most youtubers don't mind their videos being shared. The more they are shared the more views and likes they will get. Just make sure to credit the author.

RE: What is the difference between 301 redirects and backlinks?
The redirects are intended to keep link juice when migrating to a new domain. Actually they just help the existing users find the new domain. If there are redirects to your domain from unrelated websites the Google bot should be smart enough to ignore them. That's why it's better to have backlinks from unrelated sources than redirects.
