What are the best article sites to submit to?
-
Can you submit to more than one? or do they detect that the article has already been posted on another site? Which sites do you usually use for posting articles?
Thanks,
Storwell

Thanks EGOL! another great reply from you We decided to take your advice and just keep the content on our own site.

Thanks.
I am not sure about it, but is it true that DMCA complaint can be filed in USA only.

OK... I understand now. Thank you for repeating.
Yes, if someone removes articles from your site and copies them to another site the same problem will occur. However, if they steal from you and you are motivated to do something about it you can file DMCA actions against them or sue them for copyright infringement.
It is much more likely that your work will be copied if you offer it for syndication.

I think i didn't put it the right way.
**What if after posting articles to my own site, ** others copy them, post them to their site and even change the links.
In that case, what purpose it would serve, If i post articles to my own site or to article site. Because either way, someone can always copy them.

what if others copy my articles, post them to their site and even change the links.
There is a very good chance that they will rank higher than your site in the search results.
-
I am not going to disagree with you. I believe this is a sound advice. But what if others copy my articles, post them to their site and even change the links. Don't you think it will hurt my site.
-
I only post articles on my own site.
I believe that posting articles on other websites creates new competitors and fuels existing competitors.
If you give an article related to your business keywords to another website and that site is more powerful than yours they will outrank you in your own SERPs. Do that a few times and you really damaged your business.
When I have a great article I post it on my own site and submit a two sentence description of the content to places like slashdot and reddit. These sites refer visitors to you - and when they see that you have great content they will like, tweet, link and bookmark YOUR site instead of your competitor's.
Lots of people are going to disagree with me but that's OK. They are going after short term goals of getting links and ignoring the impact of new competitors and duplicate content. (don't believe them when they say if they post it on their own site first that google will know it belongs to them.... that is BS.... PURE BS)
If one of my competitors would give me a great article and I post it on my site tonight it is a pretty safe bet that I will be above them in their own SERPs taking their traffic and making their money by 8:00 AM tomorrow morning.

Some do detect that a similar article has been posted on another site even if the article has been "spun." This is the case with HubPages and others.
I like GoArticles.com for quick turnout. EzineArticles is always a popular one, too
I also use WordPress.com, Tumblr, and other blogging sites to post as well.
I'm not sure if this was part of your question or not, but I don't recommend posting the exact same article anywhere.

Network of sites
Hi guys, Wanted to get your opinion. Ran a backlink profile of a client and discovered there is a number of sites that linked to the main site. The number of sites are owned by the client and seems to be built on the purpose of just backlinking, there is footer links (exact match keyword links) The website aren't linked together in analytics or webmasters but shows up in whois under the same company. I think the best bet is get all those links removed from footer and let the domains expire once it finishes - seems to serve no purpose. But the bigger question is what are good reasons I can feed back to the client that it's has a negative affect?

Networking sites / paid links
A national networking company charges its members, say, a few of hundred pounds to become part of their network, which involves offline networking events and online in forums and a directory. All the links of the directory and forum sigs etc are all do-follow. While it's not just a directory, how beneficial a link is this likely to be? The site itself has a DA of 60 and a PR rank of 4. 1k likes on their cnnected FB page and 21 likes on the G+. At the networking meetings they tell new recruits that being a member gives them a very valuable backlink and everytime they participate in the forums they get another do follow backlink. Ive checked and they are dofollow. Is this likely to be a great value link?

Why articles submitted to squidoo not indexed by google
Hi, I have written a few articles and uploaded to squidoo/hubpage last month and they have been accepted and I can see the links in the articles. But they dont appear in the latest link report from Google Webmaster Tools. Is it because it's delay or Google simply wont treat them as valid links? Thanks

Are links in sponsored articles juicy?
Hi There I've been offered a sponsored article in a national newspaper that can contain up to 3 dofollow links. Something similar to this http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/271282 The question is would this be seen by Google as a paid link (which it is really I guess) and thereby pass no link juice? It's pretty expensive so don't want to get it wrong. Any thoughts gratefully received!
