Branded keyword domain not appearing in Google
-
Hi,
I have a site called www.emv-cards.com but the site has a very poor showing on Google for the search term 'emv cards' and this does not make sense to me. It has position #6 on Bing but is not in Google's top 50.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
regards,
George.

When I take a quick look at the site, I'm seeing very little in terms of unique content. I grabbed a phrase from the first two articles in the news section, and they appear to be copies of other articles. A new wordpress blog nobody has heard of is going to have a very hard time outranking the Wall Street Journal by copying their articles.
Turned around -- why should Google be ranking this site?

Every one knows about the penguin updates therefore we use branded keywords for getting higher priority by search engine. Your keyword is "EMV Cards " you can use different variation of this keyword and one of the most important thing is your targeted keyword is not in H1 tag so add it and also increase keyword density and more fresh content about the "EMV Cards " so after these changes your keyword definitely push-up in search engine ranking.

I think it's because you do not have enough domain strength, domain authority / backlinks etc. I see that the site / domain was registered in March. I would continue to work on content as well as some links/citations and don't do everything / every link with your keyword "EMV Cards". Do variants.

Get some more content on the home page about emv cards than run some campaigns for backlinks like infographics or press releases you shoudl be able to get in the top 3

Would you reply on the homepage to rank for all these terms or create seperate pages for the terms, and if so how would you group the terms per page?0 -
My Meta Description changes when i use different keyword in google search.
Hello everyone, I have a question for the community. I have a website with several articles and news that i manage. I set specific meta descriptions for every page but when i search in google it gives me back different meta descriptions depending on the keyword that i use to search. What i notice is that google looks in my page for the most relevant part of the text that combines with my keyword and gives me back that result. I thought that this only happen when i have an empty meta description. Anyone felt the same ? Best Ricardo www.meuportalfinanceiro.pt

The seomoz on page keyword analysis tool is not showing title or keyword in document
the SEOMOZ onpage analysis tool is not not showing title or keyword for any page in one of my sites. It says there are no title elements on my page and there are, i checked the source code myself and they are there and correct. my title and keywords are in there and show up fine in firefox and internet explorer even after i refresh them. why would this tool show them as missing in one of my sites but not others? I'm worried that google's spider might not see them if the on page analyzer doesn't see them and my rankings might drop. they showed up the other day in the seomoz on page analyzer just fine and i haven't changed anything. Thanks mozzers!

Is it better to target fewer keyword terms more often throughout a site or more keyword terms less often?
For example we have 5 different briefcases styles on our site with 5 different colors each. Is it better to have them all target the same keyword term: ie. Men's Leather Briefcase Bag - Examiner No. 5 Black Leather | Ghurka Men's Leather Briefcase Bag - Examiner No. 5 Brown Leather | Ghurka Men's Leather Briefcase Bag - Examiner No. 5 Tan Leather | Ghurka Men's Leather Briefcase Bag - Examiner No. 5 Black Twill | Ghurka Men's Leather Briefcase Bag - Examiner No. 5 Navy Twill | Ghurka etc. OR Men's Leather Briefcase Bag - Examiner Leather Bag for Men | Ghurka Leather Men's Briefcase Bag - Examiner Leather Bag for Men | Ghurka Leather Handmade Briefcase - Examiner Leather Bag for Men | Ghurka Men's Designer Business Bag - Examiner Leather Bag for Men | Ghurka Leather Men's Laptop Bag - Examiner Leather Bag for Men | Ghurka Advice would be greatly appreciated! Google vs. Bing
We are having some really good results with our SEO strategies for local search and long tail searches for our clients on Google; however, Bing is a completely different story in a couple of cases. What is Bing looking for that Google is not? We have even noticed that something may rank well in Bing then not show up at all in Google? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Multiple domains vs single domain vs subdomains ?
I have a client that recently read an article that advised him to break up his website into various URL's that targeted specific products. It was supposed to be a solution to gain footing in an already competitive industry. So rather than company.com with various pages targeting his products, he'd end up having multiple smaller sites: companyClothing.com companyShoes.com Etc. The article stated that by structuring your website this way, you were more likely to gain ranking in Google by targeting these niche markets. I wanted to know if this article was based on any facts. Are there any benefits to creating a new website that targets a specific niche market versus as a section of pages on a main website? I then began looking into structuring each of these product areas into subdomains, but the data out there is not definitive as to how subdomains are viewed by Google and other search engines - more specifically how subdomains benefit (or not!) the primary domain. So, in general, when a business targets many products and services that cover a wide range - what is the best way to structure the delivery of this info: multiple domains, single domain with folders/categories, or subdomains? If single domain with folders/categories are not an option, how do subdomains stack up? Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions!
