Buy links
-
I know that many of you are against the whole thing with buying links. Your feelings put aside.
Will it be better for my site to buy links or even do link exchange? Haven´t the crawlers been thought by now how to find these untrue links? I have read somewhere that the stop after 100 links, aren´t they smarter than that?
-
Thanks guys. I started wondering and playing games in my head, because 8 months ago I was in a difficult accident juggernaut to my car and haven´t been able to run my sites since then. Now when I am better I can see that all my sites has gone down in every keyword from top 3 to not even being in the top 50. I thought that my competitors had done something I´ve missed, like bought links. Life is not that easy...right?

Agree with Irving--neither. The best rule is to provide great content that you can use link bait. Google isn't stupid and are quite advanced in spotting unnatural links by many different methods. It is true that you may trick them in the short-term, but this strategy is not a sustainable long-term strategy.
Unfortunately, the best things for websites are sometimes the most difficult to do (such as creating great content).

Neither. Don't buy links since you don't know how to do it safely. and definitely don't do link exchanges. Either way you will probably get penalized.
Second question is, you can have more than 100 links on a page now, Google will crawl more than they used to in the past. It was a general rule because they had more limited bandwidth to crawl back then it wasn't a matter of being smart or not, now they want to find everything on the web they possibly can.

I have a question as competitor made backlinks on longtail keywords and just for one specific post, If I wanna rank in Google SERP, then should I have to do the same strategy as my competitor did. or can I use just my own keywords to get rank?

Back link from site with DA of 72 to a website domain. Clicking on the link redirects to our website not the attended one.
Hi,
Link Building | | JIMBO16
I've ran a back link check and discovered a good back link to a site which then gets redirected back to my company's website. I have a feeling that an old SEO agency has purchased a small website which has a decent link back from a relevant organisation with a high Domain authority and then redirects the domain to our website to get the link juice. What are your thought on this? Is this really bad practise and possibly damaging? Thanks, Jim0 -
External links - link to third party sites
Greetings! Actually, got an doubt on linking to external site. The thing, i have working for roof marketers site. They have covered roof products. Each of the products have a page along with major keyword. Actually, i do link from other pages[internally]. Meaning,if i see any main keywords in different page then will link that to corresponding page/product[internally].This is what i am doing to get page rank. Now, my doubt. Some of the pages are having link with main keywords which directs to the third party site those who are really producing the products. But, i remove the third party-link which has with main keywords. Since already the site/my client site having pages for that main keywords. But client really want that link. meaning the links which they have given to direct to third party[product producer] site. So what should i do at this case. Can i just past RAW link like [http://www.thirdpartysite.com] or what do i do. But my client wants that link to be in content area. Hope you would understand my long explanation and case Please help us. Thank you

Blogspot links valuable?
I've had quite a few requests recently from bloggers on blogspot requesting to post my content. Are these links valuable post panda/penguin? I see blogspot has a domain authority of 68. Are these links even dofollow?

Is a no-follow link/sponsored link a good editorial link?
Ok maybe this is a dumb question. I really need some better, more quality backlinks pointing to my site. There is a site that has domain authority of 72, page rank 5 that is offering me a sponsored blog post. Do sponsored posts count as a good editorial link? Also what if they are no-follow (and how would I find out ahead of time), does that still give me link juice?

Essentially I just need to understand what/which websites to target based on entering a keyword Thanks! Simon

Link Building: Asking for links versus building links
I am currently delving into link building for SEO having started out from a social media marketing side. From that angle, it was always my belief building high quality links came from engaging targeted bloggers and sites in my market and related verticals for product reviews and/or providing expert advise and opinion for posts they are creating. As I am learning more the "technical" side of SEO, I've read a lot of posters on here talk about asking from links from websites. While I get the concept from a strategic stand point, are links really asking for or is better to continue to pursue the long term investment of pitching to get coverage from well known bloggers and sites?
