Why are my external links not showing?
-
I've had Pro long enough to get at least two weekly crawls and yet no external links are showing (which do absolutely exist). Why would this be?
-
I am looking at the competitive link analysis. I am guessing that feeds from OSE?
-
Are you talking about external links on OSE? OSE updates only once a month, so you might have to wait 1 or even 2 months for an update.

Cleaning up link profile
I've recently been trying to tidy up my link profile. We have been link building for a number of years and I decided to check it out and see how good our profile looks. I used OSE to give me a report of all external links pointing to pages on my www sub-domain. The results are scary! I have hundreds of links point to my site that originate from URLs such as the following url which attempts to start a download, use caution!!! <colgroup><col width="768"></colgroup>

| http://www.breastreconstructionguide.com/compare.jar?page=1892&username=DXDZSW | All the other metrics reported for the offending URLs seem ok, such as PA and DA. Also, many have meaningful page titles (as opposed to random characters) and nicely formed anchor text. What I'd like to know is; Are these links having a detrimental effect on my SERPs? How does OSE find them since its a URL to a download? Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thanks for your time. Regards Aran <colgroup><col width="794"></colgroup>0 -
SEOmoz vs Google Webmaster Tools on incoming links
I'm working on basic SEO for http://queueassoc.com. Google has indexed the non-www verions of the pages and these are what the SERPS return SEOmoz toolbar shows that all of the incoming links juice goes to the www. versions of the pages, none to the non-www version. Yesterday I set up GWMT for the site, submitted a sitemap with the www version of the pages and set the default address to the www version. I had to verify both versions of the site in order to do this and in looking at the non-www version I saw that Google had all the incoming links there and none in the www.version, the opposite of what SEOmoz shows. Is this just because Google only has the non-www versions in its index? Will they show the links to the www version once they get them in the index? I'm worried about losing Google Page Rank value or SEOmoz DA by making this switch.

Tool which shows site ranking for a given keyword
Hi all. I have a client with a specific request and wanted to ask if there is a reliable tool which allows a user to enter a given site and keyword, and it will return the site's ranking for that keyword. More specifically: Needs to work for Google, Yahoo and Bing Needs to work for various countries such as Google.ca, Google.it, etc. Needs to show at least the top ?10k rankings, not just the top 50 The last requirement is the challenge. I clearly recognize anything past the top 50 or so ranks is really off the map, but the client would like to view his current standings.

Strange Links in OSE
Hey seomozers, The most recent Linkscape update has created some strange links to our domain. They are links which when I navigate to are download links, here is one example: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4.9/updates/x86_64/headers/kernel-largesmp-0-2.6.9-89.0.25.EL.x86_64.hdr Now this links has nothing to do with our site and I can't see how it would count as a link to our domain, can anyone shed some light on why these types of links are being crawled as a link to our domain? Thanks Nigel

How often do you update Link Analysis tool?
Wondering how often SEOMOZ updates their Link Analysis pages? I have had the same status for a month or so - although I know we have added links, etc.
