Any recommended stock photo websites?

Hello there,
I'm looking for a stock photo website for our company blog posts. We used iStockphoto in the past, but they raised their prices and it just isn't worth the price.
Does anyone have suggestions for a good stock photo site that is less expensive?

I think that's the freshest look at some of the best stock subscriptions if you need more than a 1-off photo.

I think if you're looking to save money, Canstockphoto is usually cheapest for good quality. I'm a former stock photographer so I could refer you around to all the main places if you want. I would start with Canstock, Shutterstock if you need a lot of images, Dreamstime, Istock and Fotolia - as the main players. Depends on your needs though.

Cheaper (much cheaper than iStock) could be http://photodune.net
Dont get me wrong, they don't have the quality of some of the iStock stuff, but I have often got some good images there

I have no idea what industry you are in but you can contact local and even national photographers (maybe? depending on your business) and see if you can use their photos while giving them credit or a link. This is especially good with wedding photographers. They LOVE to provide you with photos for the free advertising.
You could also hunt in Pinterest since there are so many stellar photos and contact the photographers there as well.

We have used www.istockphoto.com for several years and like BeardCo mentions, you get what you pay for in the Photo area. iStock as you probably already know has great image selection, high quality, and nice - easy to use interface to find just the right image. We have noticed an increase in pricing on their site as well, but have been able to find other images on their site that work for the application we're working on at a lower price-point.

We use Istock - I believe you get what you pay for in the stock photography area. There are some free stock photos, but you have to be careful with royalty free etc.

My website is struggling to receive traffic I think I have a serious error
Hi, My website would receive a lot of traffic and then I asked a SEO company who contacted me to do some work on the site. Since then, the site has dropped in the rankings and our traffic has dropped by like a lead balloon. Instead of receiving thousands of visitors, today we have received 10. I am finding that I have articles no longer in Google but they are in Yahoo. Here is an example of an article that was once popular https://www.in2town.co.uk/travel-advice/how-to-save-money-booking-a-holiday-through-a-travel-agent/ I have tried everything and now I do not know where to turn. I am not sure what they have done but everything has now failed. We have not been penalized and our hosting company have said they cannot find anything wrong. Due to this problem we have stopped writing articles and have spent all our time trying to work out what has gone wrong. If anyone can give me advice and point me in the right direction then I would be in your debt.

Another website copying our blog content but credit us. Still bad?
Hi Moz community, A few businesses that we work with are asking if they can leverage our content such as blogs by basically copying it and post it on their site. They will give us credit for the content though. My concern is that going to cause duplicate content issue and hurt us with our SEO? We'd like to provide it to them in a way that would benefit us or at least doesn't hurt us. I can think of a few possible options... 1. Have them only copy part of the content and link back to our site with a link "Read the original article" or something similar 2. Have them implement rel=canonical back to our site 3. Have them just copy the whole thing (because it doesn't really hurt us?). In that case, do we have them link back to us or no? Is there anything I missed? What's the best option for us? Thank you for the help in advance!

Is there a quick and easy way to check a website to see which outbound links open in the browser window and not in a new window?
I have just come across a few blogs on a website that have outbound links that open in the browser window (and therefore direct people off site to these links) (there are also other outbound links that open in a new window)- is there a quick and easy way to check which outbounds links open in a new window and which open in the browser window? Today, I was reading Google's official article on Multi Regional website and use of duplicate content. Right now, We are working on 4 different blogs for following regions. And, We're writing unique content for each blog. But, I am thinking to use one content / subject for all 4 region blogs. Recently, We have published one article on USA website. http://www.bannerbuzz.com/blog/choosing-the-right-banner-for-your-advertisement/ And, We want to publish this article / blog on UK, AUS & CA blog without making any changes. I have read following paragraph on Google's official guidelines and It's inspire me to make it happen. Which is best solution for it? Websites that provide content for different regions and in different languages sometimes create content that is the same or similar but available on different URLs. This is generally not a problem as long as the content is for different users in different countries. While we strongly recommend that you provide unique content for each different group of users, we understand that this may not always be possible. There is generally no need to "hide" the duplicates by disallowing crawling in a robots.txt file or by using a "noindex" robots meta tag. However, if you're providing the same content to the same users on different URLs (for instance, if both example.de/ and example.com/de/ show German language content for users in Germany), you should pick a preferred version and redirect (or use the rel=canonical link element) appropriately.
