Hi
It has been about 3 weeks now, and it hasn't come back up.
Any one has any ideas? am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

7 days is still a short amount of time in Google Time. It took us about 2-3 weeks to see a noticeable change, so I wouldn't give up just yet. The only problem with trying something new is you won't ever know exactly what it was.
Have you done a crawl test on the website? http://pro.moz.com/tools/crawl-test
Step 2 may be to try removing or asking for a no follow on links from lower domain authorities like http://the1.co.uk

Thanks for your reply, I made the changes you recommended 7 days ago but still not improvement !!

If it has only been a few days, I would not worry about it too much.
I remember reading a MozCast article showing that domains with specific keywords in them, such as weddingfavours, may not be performing well under recent algorithm changes. It may be something to look into.

We had this happen to 4 sites recently, where the canonical tags had been tampered with during a content management update.
Best Guess:
Looks like there is no canonical tag on http://caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk/Home telling Google that it is pulling this page from http://caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk. You have a proper redirect from www./caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk to /caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk, but no canonical tag on http://caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk/Home, making it look like duplicated content.

Sale page ranking for "[blank] for sale" keywords
My company's Ecommerce site has a sale category that is currently out performing some of our normal categories in the SERPs for "[blank] for sale" keywords. For example the sale category landing page is ranking for the keyword "vegetable seeds for sale" rather than the vegetable seed category. Has anyone ever dealt with a similar situation to this? or does anyone have general advice for optimizing (or weakening) sale pages?

Pages for similar keywords?
I have a site that wants to target the keywords listed below. They are a small company with just a few ski chalets in Val d'Isere, a ski resort in France. They don't have ski chalets in any other ski resort. Val d'Isere chalets

Would you reply on the homepage to rank for all these terms or create seperate pages for the terms, and if so how would you group the terms per page?0 -
Theme create category page stuffed with Keyword
Hi All, Quick question and I think I already know the answer but wanted to get a second opinion. We have a ecom site running woo commerce and the theme is coded to insert the product category name under the product name on the category page. This has resulted in the category page being stuffed with my keyword 'sofa beds'. Am I right in thinking that in the eyes of Google this page will be penalised for over use of my keyword or does Google view category pages differently? Thanks in advance

Keyword Saturation
Hi guys, A run a niche price comparison website and the keywords I'm targeting are the product names themselves. I recall Moz recommended that using the keyword too many times on site was not a good thing. Typically, I would have a unique description for the products and the list of merchants, prices, links to thier site and thier product names. This resulted in my keyword appearing many times on site, in slightly different forms (the product names were taken from the merchants feed) I no longer see this warning in the recomended and I believe it is more transparent for my visitors if they see the merchants website name on my site. Is it safe to put them back on my site? Mark

Keyword in URL?
I have a website that has been live for about 8yrs. I do not have any significant rankings for my main keywords but am now starting SEO on my site. I am contemplating changing the url to contain the main keyword prefixed by my brand name. Any views on the ranking benefits and or CTR benefits.

May I ask what is the difference between "broad keyword usage" and "appropriate keyword usage" that is included on the on-page reports? thank you!

301 redirects from several sub-pages to one sub-page
Hi! I have 14 sub-pages i deleted earlier today. But ofcourse Google can still find them, and gives everyone that gives them a go a 404 error. I have come to the understading that this wil hurt the rest of my site, at least as long as Google have them indexed. These sub-pages lies in 3 different folders, and i want to redirect them to a sub-page in a folder number 4. I have already an htaccess file, but i just simply cant get it to work! It is the same file as i use for redirecting trafic from mydomain.no to www.mydomain.no, and i have tried every kind of variation i can think of with the sub-pages. Has anyone perhaps had the same problem before, or for any other reason has the solution, and can help me with how to compose the htaccess file? 🙂 You have to excuse me if i'm using the wrong terms, missing something i should have seen under water while wearing a blindfold, or i am misspelling anything. I am neither very experienced with anything surrounding seo or anything else that has with internet to do, nor am i from an englishspeaking country. Hope someone here can light up my path 🙂 Thats at least something you can say in norwegian...

If a site has https versions of every page, will the search engines view them as duplicate pages?
A client's site has HTTPS versions of every page for their site and it is possible to view both http and https versions of the page. Do the search engines view this as duplicate content?
