Hey Everyone
I hope someone could really help me here.
My website: goo.gl/5fLqv, it is an ecommerce website and just in the last few days for one my keywords "Wedding Favours" it dropped to page 31 from page 10.
Could someone help me please on how to resolve this?
Thanks

Hi
It has been about 3 weeks now, and it hasn't come back up.
Any one has any ideas? am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

7 days is still a short amount of time in Google Time. It took us about 2-3 weeks to see a noticeable change, so I wouldn't give up just yet. The only problem with trying something new is you won't ever know exactly what it was.
Have you done a crawl test on the website? http://pro.moz.com/tools/crawl-test
Step 2 may be to try removing or asking for a no follow on links from lower domain authorities like http://the1.co.uk

Thanks for your reply, I made the changes you recommended 7 days ago but still not improvement !!

If it has only been a few days, I would not worry about it too much.
I remember reading a MozCast article showing that domains with specific keywords in them, such as weddingfavours, may not be performing well under recent algorithm changes. It may be something to look into.

We had this happen to 4 sites recently, where the canonical tags had been tampered with during a content management update.
Best Guess:
Looks like there is no canonical tag on http://caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk/Home telling Google that it is pulling this page from http://caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk. You have a proper redirect from www./caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk to /caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk, but no canonical tag on http://caesarsweddingfavours.co.uk/Home, making it look like duplicated content.

Pages for similar keywords?
I have a site that wants to target the keywords listed below. They are a small company with just a few ski chalets in Val d'Isere, a ski resort in France. They don't have ski chalets in any other ski resort. Val d'Isere chalets

Would you reply on the homepage to rank for all these terms or create seperate pages for the terms, and if so how would you group the terms per page?0 -
Noindex child pages (whose content is included on parent pages)?
I'm sorry if there have been questions close to this before... I've using WordPress less like a blogging platform and more like a CMS for years now... For content management purposes we organize a lot of content around Parent/Child page (and custom-post-type) relationships; the Child pages are included as tabbed content on the Parent page. Should I be noindexing these child pages, since their content is already on the site, in full, on their Parent pages (ie. duplicate content)? Or does it not matter, since the crawlers may not go to all of the tabbed content? None of the pages have shown up in Moz's "High Priority Issues" as duplicate content but it still seems like I'm making the Parent pages suffer needlessly... Anything obvious I'm not taking into consideration? By the by, this is my first post here @ Moz, which I'm loving; this site and the forums are such a great resource! Anyways, thanks in advance!

Page Speed
Google recommends a page load speed of 1.4 seconds, is it recommended to have that page speed for every page on the site, or just the landing pages. Is there a tool that will check the load speed of every page on a site and report the slow pages? The free online tools only check one page at a time.

Website in a frame
Following situation. Domain A is indexed at google , it use a frame within this frame a website is hosted from another domain. Because it not workes proper (all url's where only the main url from domain A) The webdesigner deleted domain A , the url's are delered from the google index. (some ranked well) (position 3) Now all url's from Domain B are in the index , but on a bad position (position 74) Now i want to move the website from domain A to domain B (and add a redirect 301) Will domain A gets his position in the google index B ? (All things happened 4 weeks ago) does anyone have other ideas how to get the position back ? Thanx in advance

Links to Product pages
Hello all, I am still rather new to SEO and learning a lot every day. I do have a question. On our product search result pages (example http://shop.ferguson.com/search/bathroom-lighting)
On-Page Optimization | | Ferguson
It is currently set up so the image, text, price etc of a product is linking to that product page. Our question is, if we were to link the image and the product name - will this be seen as two links to the same page? Is this a bad thing having multiple links to the same page? I searched around to see how other ecommerce sites have similar pages setup and it seems they link the image and also the product name, and the description is not click-able, which allows a user to "Highlight" the text (this is not possible on ours) Which would be to correct approach for SEO as well as User Interface, the way we have it set up, or by going with the method of the question I asked, Thank you for any information on this! Should H1s be used in the logo? If they are and it is dynamic on each page to relate to the page content, is this detrimental to the site rather than having it in the page content?
On some sites, the H1 is contained within the logo and remains consistent throughout the site (i.e. the company name is in the of the logo). If the h1 in a logo is dynamic for each page (i.e. on the homepage it is company name - homepage) is this better or worse to have it changed out on the logo rather than having it in the page content?
