Company's Official Facebook Page Doesn't Appear In SERP
-
Hi,
Our official company's facebook page doesn't appear at all, in all serp.
I'll elaborate all in details here below.
We have an official Arabic Company Facebook page with more than 1.9k likes, the page itself is very active and constantly being updated by a person in charge of the Facebook page.
We also have an official English Company Facebook page - runs and operated in the same method mentioned above.
when I search for my company's BRANDNAME in google.com.sa - both official facebook pages (arabic + english) don't appear in the serp. I've went through all the way to end of the results pages - I couldn't find both pages anywhere.
On the other hand, when I search for the brand name + facebook, like this: BRANDNAME Facebook
I can find both Arabic and English facebook pages in the 1st page one right after the other.
Anyone can help me out here? I'm desperate for solution.
Thanks

Hi Joni
How about these other things;
- does your facebook page have any backlinks in addition to your own site (you can check in open site explorer)
- are you using the open graph tags?
- can you find your facebook pages in other countries? (try google.com google.ca google.co.uk google.com.au)
- for google.com.sa are you viewing in English or Arabic?
- try copying and pasting a snippet of text from your facebook page (like a sentence or two) and search for that in quotes in google.com.sa - does it return your facebook page?
- try also searching for: [brandname -site:yourdomain.com] - a search for your brand excluding your own site
Let me know about those!

Hi Dan.
Thank you for your response, I appreciate your help.
Our Google+ pages, Facebook pages and YouTube channels are reciprocally linked to our website (crawlable, of course). Both facebook pages contain the brand name in the URL.
I would appreciate more suggestions. What would you suggest to concentrate on doing?
-
Hi There - I too am shooting in the dark here a little without having the exact page, but I understand you not being able to share it.
One, is do you have any back links built to the facebook page?
Two, is are you reciprocally linking to/from the website and facebook profile? Are the links on the website crawlable etc?
Are you using the facebook open graph tags on your website?
Do you have a Google Plus Business profile setup - and from that profile, linking out to your company website as well as the facebook profile? Same for YouTube?
Lastly, did you set up a clean URL for the facebook page with the brand name?

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to expose my company's official Facebook page's title.I did check the 'about us' pages both in English and Arabic and they are not copy-pasted/duplicated.
This is really frustrating, as I can't understand why the company's official Facebook page doesn't appear for the search results of our BRANDNAME.
While I was rereading my initial question I've noticed that I forgot to mention an important thing:
In google.com.sa, when searching for our BRANDNAME , the 4th result is a Facebook HATE-PAGE someone had opened. (The page has only 29 likes and something like 15 posts). What could be the variables causing this issue, and what do we need to do to resolve it and get our official Facebook pages on the first page results?
-
Having access to the actual facebook pages would help us discover what's wrong with it. Right now, it sounds like your Facebook page is in the supplemental index for your BRANDNAME. Does the Facebook page provide information that is different from the website or is it all the same? e.g. Is the "About Us" section copy/pasted from the website?
Can't get more specific without more specifics =/

Multiple Google+ pages when entering new foreign markets?
We are a medium size business on our way to expanding to new countries. Right now we have one Google+ account in Denmark. When expanding to more markets outside of Denmark, should we then set up a Google+ page for each country? Or is it better to stick with the one we have? Thanks in advance!

Domain authority vs indexed pages
Hello, There are many articles and from our personal experience we can say that you can rank a page without backlinks with high DA but we cant figure out if DA of domain help to rank as the link juice ( so the link juice going from home page thru all pages to specific page) or it will rank a page even if its not linked in any way from homepage or any other pages and even if it not linked in any way from other pages and still ranks just because of high DA, does that DA value will spread even above all indexed pages if you have lets say 100,000 pages, i mean if domain has 100 indexed pages and DA of 50 and another domain has 100,000 and DA of 100, if both pages are the same on those domains and have no backlinks to it from my understanding page on domain with 100 indexed pages and DA of 50 suppose to rank higher ? Please share what you think

Country sites - TLD's or sub directories?
Dear All, We have several brands which operate a several languages and currently have a set up like this: www.[BRAND].com/ = English global www.[BRAND].com/de = German www.[BRAND].com/fr = French … Each subdirectory is a completely different site so I was wondering would it be better to use TLD’s for each country site in order to hold more equity in the search engine if we used: www.[BRAND].com/ = English global www.[BRAND].de = German www.[BRAND].fr = French Are country top level domains the way to go? If we wanted to change language within a country site should we use the following? www.[BRAND].be = Belgium English www.[BRAND].be/nl-NL/ = Belgium Dutch If you could let me know what to do I would be most grateful. What is the impact of the new google+ share button on SERP
Hello mozzers, I'm currently wondering what will be the impact of the new social signal ( Google+ Share ) on SERP an organic traffic. As we all know by now , Facebook share have an higher social signal authority then the Facebook like on SERP @Randfish posted some great info at: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/facebook-twitters-influence-google-search-rankings Since Google rolled out the new Google+ Share social signa at : https://developers.google.com/+/plugins/share/?utm_source=blog&utm_medium=gplusdevelopers&utm_campaign=shareplugin I was wondering if somebody had the chance to do some clear testing on the SERP impact of this new social signal even if its a fresh addition to the social signals. Facebook, Google Plus - What to share/like?
Hi everybody! We are planning to offer an incentive to all our customers who interact with us on social media websites. What's the most important thing to ask from a customer? Facebook to like our Facebook business page or to like our own website through Facebook? to just follow us on Facebook or to actually comment / interact on our wall? Google + to +1, share, add to circle our Google+ business webpage or to +1 or share our own website? So basically what do we need to promote most? Our Facebook / Google+ business pages or our own website through social media marketing? While we understand it's important to actually interact with the customers and offer value on social media websites, we are looking to boost our SEO efforts. Thank you!
