I have a company with multiple locations through out the US and I am trying to figure out the best way to use Google+ and Facebook.

Should I create separate pages for each location or should I create one account and add all my locations to that account?

Marcus is a little busy at the moment but I work with Marcus at Bowler Hat and may be able to help here.
For google+ I recommend creating a page for each location. Simply because it increase the chance of the company appearing in the local search results depending on the location of the searcher. For example, if you were to only create one page for your Main Office and lets say that was based in California.. If someone was to search for a product or service that you provide but they are located in New York, for obvious reasons you will not appear in the local search results, even though you could have an office around the corner from the searchers location. But remember to not add the location into the title of your Google+ page! If you do it the correct way, you will end up will several google+ pages all called ‘examplebrand’ but Google will be able to recognise your address so there is no need to name your google+ page ‘examplebrand new york’
As for Facebook, it all depends on how much time you are willing to put into your Social Media. It would be great to have a Facebook page for each location as you could interact with the local community and share news about any events taking place. But if you do not have the time or a team to do this, I would recommend having a single brand page as it would be less time consuming but still enables you to interact with customers on social media.

As far as social media goes, I would follow this rule. If you manage ALL Facebook marketing activities for all locations use a single brand facebook page. If each location does their own marketing/Facebook then having separate accounts could help them engage more specifically with their local communities.
Hope that helps! I had the same issue for a client who was trying to manage multiple locations Facebook pages from a central command. Leads to mediocrity in my opinion!

Is there any value in trying to add a page to wikipedia
Hi Mozzers, My manager has asked me this question and I'm not quite sure how to answer it. "Is there any value in trying to add a page about our company to wikipedia" I would have thought it's very difficult to get a page to stick in wikipedia if it's about a company that isn't huge (like Apple or Google). Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Personally I think it's potentially quite risky and unlikely to bring much traffic (because I can't imagine anyone would visit a page on wiki about my company - not that my company isn't great, because it is, it's just not HUGE or global...) I think a wiki page could be a bit spammy! Would welcome your input, and I am happy to be proven wrong! Thanks, Amelia

Google plus reviews and multiple company profiles
We have a Google plus profile for our brand/ organisation which has become quite powerful. We are conscious that we don't want to miss out on local search queries so want a local page but we don't want to get rid of the company page that we have built. We are a nationwide website with one physical shop. Will having a local business Google plus page and a company Google plus page be seen as duplicate or in any way negative- especially if you are posting similar/ the same links and content on both pages. We also want to encourage reviews- is it possible to leave reviews on company pages or is it only though local G+ pages? There is a reviews tab but it does not seem possible to leave reviews. On the main Nike G+ page is it possible to leave reviews or would those companies have to set up local pages for people to review?

What is the most appropriate way to invite writers and blogger to visit my hotel, in exchange for a review?
My client's own several hotels in Los Angeles. I thought it would be a good idea to ask writers and bloggers to visit the hotel, free of charge, in exchange for a review or write up. Of course, we want to be above board and up front with everything, including encouraging any review to be the truth and forthright, however I just not sure how best to ask them. Sometimes I ramble on and have trouble getting to the point and I know its really important here. Does anyone have any advice here? Many thanks!

How to feature in Google restaurant reviews?
Hi, When I Google a restaurant name here in the UK - try "fat duck bray" I see the photo of the restaurant on the right hand side, the Zagat review score and then right at the bottom of this section there is "More Reviews" with links to Urbanspoon,com, qype.co.uk, Zagat.com and Blackbookmag.com (often TripAdvisor will appear here too.) To one of the sites I work with these are all the competition so the natural question is how would one appear here? I've never seen anything covering this before so interested if anyone else has read anything on this or has any experience on this. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Buying a used domain - redirecting, pluses etc?
Hi, I have a 6 year old domain which has been the basis for my main business website operation. http://www.kent-website-designer.co.uk/ Im in the process of cleaning up some messy sitewide footer kinks that come to the notice of Penguin update. I think I can clear up a lot of links but obviously need to add some better links for the future to improve. Ive gone from #1 to #60. I was thinking of a rebrand as the EMD isnt doing much good anymore in benefits plus the drop in rankings and also Google definately favouring brand links over concentrated anchor texts. So maybe the time is ideal. The design needs a refresh anyway.... I have found a 1999 .co.uk domain which has some non keyword related 1999 links to it...nice. Its a very reasonable price. Its not going to have inbounds from my related markets, not ideal but it has no negative stuff either. Also its a very simple but rememberable name like Google or Yahoo. Great for branding. Its parked but Waybackmachine shows indexing back to `99 and google cache has some content on it. However OSE shows low domain / page authority. Im thinking of redirecting my current domain to the new one, passing some of the positives of age and titles...and replicating the site through 301`s. Is this worth doing in anyones opinion? Only thing with my domain isany branding words are anchor text words too. I cant win.

Giveaway ideas for contest from a Internet Marketing Company
So I have been toying with the idea of creating a twitter / Facebook / Google + Giveaway. Users will just have to like/follow to enter and a random person will be drawing to win the prize. Seems like a solid and easy way to gain followers and such. My main concern is lets say I go the straight up "cash" route and giveaway $250 to the winner. While anyone would love to have a free $250 and I may get a lot of likes and followers, I’m sure most of them would not be interested in my company or services. They just want a free $250 (who wouldn’t). I’m been trying to think of other things to giveaway that people would still love to get but attract more people that would be interested in my services, any ideas? I was thinking maybe the winner could get free SEO for their website for 3-6 months or something like that. Something that people might actually want.
