Best tool for drawing sitemaps?

Drawing up sitemaps is one of those tasks that seems to take me twice as long to do electronically that it does on paper. Unfortunately, sitemaps scribbled on sheets of A4 paper aren't much good for sending and sharing.
So, Mozzers, what tool or software do you recommend for drawing up sitemaps quickly and easily?
So far I've tried using Visio, Excel and Word but if there's a dedicated tool out there, that would be awesome.

are you able to generate a website diagram based off a sitemap.xml ?

I've gone back to visio. I know it isn't cheap, but I worked out that the other tools were losing me more money in waasted time.

While its not made specifically for sitemaps, but for small to medium sites we use MindNode for mac, Its a really easy to use tool. Clients seem to like the look of it also. Its also free!

Or if you are Win user, you can use Dia. It looks really ugly, but its free and relatively capable.

If you are mac user, try OmniGraffle. One of the best tools, I've evere worked with.

Hi to all, So as I am working towards the best possible site that I can build, what is the best tool or method to find keywords that people would search for that may line up with my website? I have starting using google keyword research tool, or at least I think that is what its called. Also I am using moz, but it shows bing result for traffic. So I guess backing up, do you usually find the keywords with the largest traffic estimates, and then work those words into your web pages? Title pretty much sums it up. At the pricing moz offers this is not practical. Even at their highest tier i would only get 3700 keywords, so it would take several months to get the results.

How would you optimise a site for close variations of a keyword, such as [data capture + application/app/software/technology/tool/solution]
Hey all, We're a data capture app looking to optimise our site: akkroo.com. There are lots of industry-specific & use-case-based content pages we can create, but how should we optimise our site to capture traffic for keywords that could (almost) be classified as synonyms? Particularly, I'm thinking keywords such as: data capture app data capture application data capture software data capture tool data capture tools data capture technology etc. My industry-specific pages will all have completely unique content, but I'm struggling to work out how I should architecture pages that target keywords that are almost identical, such as the list above. The content on these pages would technically be 'unique', but each page would be very similar to one another. And how would we link to these pages internally? I can't really see it adding to the user experience, but I can't see how I can target all of these keywords without having individual pages for each... Hello, Is the Google Keyword Tool the only reliable source for stats on keyword search volume on Google? The tool returns "no data" results for keywords I would expect to have some, if not much, search volume. I would like to cross-check these results, if possible. Thanks!

3 (similar) keywords - 3 (similar) domains - best strategy?
Hi all! I've got head scratcher here, your input would be super valuable! We have these 3 exact match domains. FloatTank.ca

SensoryDeprivationTank.ca The domains are all 3 different ways of saying the exact same thing - and each of the 3 keywords have roughly the same amount of traffic. Right now we are just providing information on Float Tanks / Isolation Tanks / Sensory Deprivation Tanks, their benefits are and how to use them, where to find a location etc. Do you have any strategies or advice considering the current domains and the points below? The content on each site would be VERY SIMILAR, as they are all talking about the same thing, "floating". Any suggestions for this? We want to (sometime in the near future) create a branded website. ie. FloatNation.ca in which we rank for all 3 of the above terms. Should we spin content for each site, and then create a 301 down the road to our main domain? Your input is appreciated! All the best,

My concern is that I may be optimizing certain pages with wrong kw phrases and building backlinks to wrong kw phrases that are not a good conversion keyword for the services that I am selling. What are the various ways and tools that can be used to determine if I am optimizing for the right kw's phrases and not the wrong ones that will not convert into a lead from the optin form. I am wondering if ppc spy tools such as spyfu, semrush help me identify if I in fact am opitimizing for the right kw's ?
