Why My Site Got 1000% increase in organic traffic from day to night?

Did Google run any update Monday or recently?
My site www.shirts4geek.com, strangely had a 1000% organic traffic increase from day to night. I didn't do anything in this site for long a time... but Monday I had a lot traffic coming from organic and every other day this week the site is doing extremely well on traffic and sales.
I'm ranking first page for many keywords relate to my products.
I wish I could figure out what happens so I can replicate it. The site has very links and the On Page Optimization is kind of basic.
Does any have any idea how it could be possible? Have any one seen something similar lately?

Analytics screenshots/GWT access would be helpful for more investigation. I checked SEMRUSH and it does not seem like the site is ranked for any keyword.

Could be an issue with tracking, ex. PPC or something else could be reporting as organic. I'd look into that.

Yes I'm sure is organic... I did check GWT together with GA, the traffic is really coming from organic and I'm ranking for the keywords. You can google for example: "hacker insidetshirts or "I know html tshirt"

Are you sure it is organic traffic and not referral traffic. Take a look at Google Webmaster Tools to see which keywords are driving traffic to the site and getting the most impressions. Compare that with analytics stats to see where the visitors are coming from (geo). Once you have the keyword and the geo location info, you can do some manual queries to see if you are actually ranking for those keywords.

Google Shopping tracking as organic traffic - help!
Hey guys, I have an eCommerce client who sometimes runs Google PLA and Google Shopping campaigns. However, we don't run his AdWords for him, just do his SEO. At the moment, the Shopping campaigns track as organic traffic within Analytics. And I can't see any way to change this! It's so infuriating. How do I change this? Thanks!

How to see organic traffic only?
Im having trouble separating our organic traffic vs our PPC. When I go into Analytics>Traffic>Sources>Search>Organic, its giving me numbers that are not accurate. I believe whats happening is that its not able to distinguish our bing organic/ppc. Is using Webmaster tools Search Queries a more accurate way to determine organic search volume?

What will you do when seeing the rank and traffic are dropping?
No black-hat SEO strategy was adopted, so we suppose it's not a penalty, but ranks and organic traffics are dropping. What will you do in this situation? And how long it takes for you to make sure it's not a normal flux, but something wrong happens on your site? Thanks in advance

Anyone notice a drop in results using site operator?
I set our site's preferred domain back on January 28. We had a www and non www domain being indexed. Since then, I've seen the number or results for our site site operator (site:) decline dramatically. Not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. So, I'm trying to see if it's unique to our site. My gut is that the numbers are probably leveling out to where they should be and the duplicates are falling out, but I would think that as I see number of results for non www decline, the number of results for www would increase. Any thoughts? Anyone else seeing fluctuations in results using site: ? Lisa

(Not provided) organic search results in Analytics
Hi, So from what I've read, (not provided) organic search results in Analytics is a result of the user being logged into Google. The problem I have is about 20% of the organic search results are (Not provided), so what is mainly left are branded search terms. I think I'm clutching at straws, but is there anything I can do to see these organic traffic sources?

Traffic Drop with no real explaination?
Hello Everyone, On one of my sites PokerOnaMac we experienced a 75% drop in traffic in about a week (since September 3rd). I took a look at GA and the penalties have been applied sitewide. I also checked my Google Webmaster Tools, and there are no messages regarding "unhealthy link structures." We have had other sites penalized by Penguin & Manual Removals, but they are recovering now. What is my best bet to find what is wrong? Thanks

Sudden Drop in Direct Traffic
We recently had a some changes to our site, adding new sub categories, moving products around, etc... We implemented the changes on Thursday of last week and had a normal day around 800+ visitors. The very next day our # of visitors dropped in half to around 400+ and has stayed that way all weekend. I thought it might be that some links may have changed but I checked all of the links and they are the same as before with the exception of new pages. I checked to make sure that the google analytics code was still in the code and it is. I read that it could be DNS propagation timing issue but it's been 3 days and nothing's changed. I'm fairly certain that we are not being penalized or pandalized by google as our referrals and organic search results have not changed only the amount of direct traffic. Anyone have any ideas on what to look at or what to do?
