Microdata or RDFa for breadcrumb ?
-
Which one do u prefer and why? Does RDFa is better for SEO or is just the same as microdata?
-
Let's put it this way, all of the major search engines in the Western hemisphere have endorsed microdata. It's basically the WordPress of semantic data now. Everyone agreed that it would make everyone's life easier if we all adopted a uniform semantic markup. There may be a plan for graceful degradation of RDFa, there may not. But it's somewhat rare to get such an emphatic endorsement from every search engine of consequence in the Western market.
Schema has a pretty solid general taxonomy for many common instances. The types and properties keep growing. The only reason you should go with RDFa over microdata is if there's something you can't do otherwise. Though that is likely doubtful at this point.

Breadcrumbs markup need to be fixed
Hi there, Google is up to mass spamming, the latest one refers o an Enhancements > Breadcrukbs report, the message is: "...Google systems show that your site is affected by 24 instances of Breadcrumbs markup issues. This means that your Breadcrumbs pages might not appear as rich results in Google Search. Search Console has created a new report just for this rich result type..." I've used their Structured Data Testing Tool, no errors were highlighted. Can anyone fathom out what they're referring to, please?

Breadcrumbs and internal links
Hello, I use to move up my site structure with links in content. I have now installed breadcrumbs, is it is useful to still keep the links in content or isn't there a need to duplicate those links ? and are the breadcrumbs links enough. Thank you,

Breadcrumbs versus in context link
Hi, I remember reading that links within the text have more value than breadcrumbs links for example because in context links are surrounded by the right content (words) but google search engine optimisation starter guide says breadcrumbs are good, so which one is recommended ? Thank you,

Breadcrumb wording and keywords
This is real estate website related. For every neighborhood I have a "condos" and "houses" page. In the breadcrumb structure I may have: "home > island condos > city condos > region condos > neighborhood condos". Questions: Some breadrumb structures have 5-6 different breadcrumb link and repeating the word "condos" in each link seems redundant. Would it be better just to list "island", "city", "region", "neighborhood" and never use the word "condos" or "houses" in the breadcrumbs? For users this would be better. If I implement what I suggest in 1) - deleting "condos" or "houses" wording from breadcrumb links, then on a condos page the word "region" (as an example) will lead to the "region condos" page whereas the exact same word "region" on a house page will lead to the "region houses" page. This means I will have a situation where the anchor text in breadcrumbs become 100% identical for my "condos" and "houses" pages, however, the they lead to different pages. Is this OK? I have in past been told that when I use internal anchor text, that the link should always leads to the same page. Having same anchor leading to different pages would not be good….is that so? thank you

Breadcrumbs in SERPs
Hi there, Breadcrumbs now showing for my websites in Google.co.uk & Google.ie I have 2 websites .co.uk & .ie both having the same content. There are legalities for having 2 separate domains. Anyway... When I click on one of the breadcrumbs in the SERPs in Google.ie it takes me to the .co.uk website, however the title for that result takes me to the .ie website as it should. I have checked my breadcrumbs on the .ie website and all is fine, however in SERPs it takes me to the .co.uk website, any ideas why this maybe? Kind Regards

Are breadcrumbs any good and Should I insert links on the Item descriptions and specs?
Hi All, In my e-commerce site in each product page I have the breadcrumbs on top which show the root categories that lead to this product. However, I saw once that Google even if you use several anchors from page A to page B Google treats only/mainly the first anchor. This means that inserting contextual links on the product text, the product description, that leads to the category page (which is an important landing page) is irrelevant/ambiguous since the link is already in the breadcrumb on top. What do you think? Should I insert contextual links on the item description or is it worthless? Thanks

Usage of Schema.org Microdata?
I am trying to figure out the correct usage of Schema.org for a business. Example: http://schema.org/Restaurant There is information like opening times or payments accepted. Would you populate this data within meta tags on every page (i.e. in the header) or really target specific pages? This could also apply to general info such as address, contact details, etc.. Interested in hearing your thoughts 🙂 Cheers Noel
