Client had address change in Google
-
They successfully changed their Google+ local address. I have their listing in the Moz Local product. How should I handle the address change? Will it find it on its own? I noticed with another client it noticed a name change that occurred and automatically updated the listing. Does it do this with address change? Thanks!
-
Thank you!
-
Oh! Okay, I am following now.
Yeah if the change just went through today - I would give it some time to crawl. It shouldn't take too long.
Good luck!

The Moz tool is not letting me do the address edit. It just went through today with Google. Do I just need to wait for Moz to index it. It says that I should change in Google first but it has been changed there. Thanks.
-
Thanks. My concern is that I don't want to create a new listing, but just change all of the original ones. Does this edit do that with address? Sorry, I wasn't completely clear from your answer. I had already loaded his information for the old address which no longer exists. This is a new address but the same Google listing. Don't want the old one to exist any more. Thanks.

How do I update my listings if something changes?
You create listings on Moz Local by uploading a CSV spreadsheet with all your locations' data. To update your information at any time, just upload a CSV with the new data for any locations you'd like to update. You can also click on the edit icon next to the published listing to update it via the UX.
Try this - good luck!

Can I sync our local listing in Moz with a Google My Busines listing when there are multiple GMB listings?
We working a healthcare facility that has over 30 listings set up in Google My Business, individual listings for each doctor and other healthcare professionals. We are trying to sync with Google My Business, but continue to receive a message about being unable to validate the listing. We've ensured that the information matches in each listing. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, any advice on how to get it to sync. I've looked through support documents and not found anything that has helped.

How long do Facebook and Google pages have to be published before Moz can verify them?
Hi there. I've checked the forums and have seen similar questions, but couldn't find an answer in them. I have a listing that I imported from my Google My Business account, but it comes up as unverified for both Facebook and Google. Both pages exist, but have only been published for about 3 weeks. Both sites contain the accurate business information and are the appropriate types of pages, so the best I can determine from what I've read in the other posts is that "newly" published Facebook and Google pages may not be able to be verified by Moz Local. So the question is, what is considered "newly published"? The Facebook business page is: https://www.facebook.com/JTBentonConsulting/ The Google+ page is: https://plus.google.com/b/114469171569907148968/+JTBentonConsultingAdamstown?pageId=114469171569907148968&hl=en The name registered for Google My Business is: J T Benton Consulting - Mobile Notary Public Any ideas?

Employees using the Dealership's address and popping up as duplicates in Moz Local?
We are using Moz Local and have a client who's salespeople create individual Facebook Pages for themselves and use the storefront's address. They are noted as duplicates. How much does this really hurt local SEO?

“XXX Close” and “XXX Cl” showing up as inconsistencies of the same address in Moz Local checker
I was using the moz local check listing feature to check one of our clients whos addresses is “XXX Close” When i check listing in moz local i get 2 options of the site : with address “XXX Close” with address “XXX Cl” If i click on the “XXX Close” version it shows me listing where the address is written as “XXX Cl” as being inconsistent and visa versa if i click on the “XXX Cl” version. (this happens as some sites reformat the text, ive submitted them all as “XXX Close”) Is the something to be concerned about ? eg. could it effect rankings or does google understand that they are the same ?

Moz Local Duplicating Street Address
Hi, Whenever I done a lookup for a client we were hoping to get on Moz Local, the listing that appeared has a repeating street address. For Example: 123 Some Street, 123 Some Street, Some City, Some ZIP Code I have checked Google Plus / Google My Business and no such repetition is there, however, under the Incomplete section it's showing Google as the one that's incorrect, but when I click through to Google the address is correct - see attached images... I have gone through all the other listings and they are correct from what I can see through the Moz Report. Also, this is happening with more than one address that I have checked - see attached images. If anyone has any input on the matter it would be greatly appreciated. I have posted this before and got no definitive answer, it then hit page two and we all know what happens when it does that. 4FwVXZi.png OEF0JzZ.png CoiU0tt.png jrKdHYU.png 3Rnm6Jz.png mVtALyn.png

How long does it take for MOZ local to see changes to Google+

Is the Google Local Descriptor compatible with MOZ Local?
If I'm understanding Google correctly, we can use a single descriptor as part of a business name, and to do so, you use the following format in the business name field: Business Name - Descriptor Is this correct? If so, is it not compatible with MOZ Local? I used the format above, and MOZ seems to see the descriptor as part of the business name, and won't let me verify. Is the best approach to using a descriptor to get verified first, then add it? Or will that mess other things up?

Can Moz local correct listings with incorrect addresses/phone numbers that have no FB or G+ listing?
We just started using Moz Local for a law office client. The csv has the client's correct information. However, our client has listings out there with a completely incorrect address/city and alternate phone number. There wouldn't be a valid FB or G+ listing for this incorrect address to use for validation. Is there any way Moz Local can find these and correct them by matching name or website alone? The incorrect ones are not showing up in the list of duplicates.
