Meta discription WP

I want to update my meta discriptions on product category level in a Wordpress website. I can update a bulk in Yoast.
it's now set as:
%%term_title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%but i want it to be:
Text (term title) text, (term title) text ✓ UPS text, ✓ USP text.Does anyone know what code i can use to update the meta discriptions?

Thanks for the advice. It's only that we have 500+ categories and 7.500+ products. Would it be a good option to start with the automated meta's > take our SEO profits > work our way up from top level and update them manualy daily? Our doesn't the automated way improve some quick wins for the timebeing?

Hi there
I would manually add this in your meta description edit option - keep these unique and not automated - think about the user! This is your first chance to impress them and get them to click through!
To get special entities, take a look at this resource from stackoverflow and then also read this Special Characters in Title & Meta Description. There are some case studies and links you can check out there as well.

Different WP Taxonomies seen as duplicate content

Using Product Descriptions in Meta Description
Hi All We have over 10000 Products and a while ago we spent some time adding Product Descriptions to the Product Pages, For Example we have Product - Black Snazaroo Face Paint Product Description - Great for Childrens parties, fundraising events, Halloween or other festive faces. An easy makeup to apply and remove. All Snazaroo face paints are Non toxic, Fragrance free and Skin friendly. Snazaroo is suitable for all skin types, however it is always recommended you do a skin patch test on a small area before full application. Unfortuantly our Meta Descriptions really need some work, for example this same page contains the following meta descriptions We realise this could be holding our site back. Is it ok to use the same Product Description inside the Meta Description Tags also, for example can we use the Meta Description for this Page - Thanks

How to titling images in WP blog
What is the best way to title an image in a blog post. The wording will relate to the post discussion so I am not discussing the word stuffing, rather how to enter the words. Here are my options for the title: 1. dayton engagement photos 2. dayton_engagement_photos 3. daytonengagementphotos 4. Is there another preferred method? Should I increment the image title for each image such as: daytonengagementphotos1, daytonengagementphotos2, etc. What about the alternative text area? Does the same concept apply there? Changing URL structure in WP
Hi there. Currently we have our blog (WP site) URLs setup this way: companyname.com/post-name However, it's hard to analyze blog's (only) content in Google Analytics now (since all posts have their own unique URL). I want to change the structure to companyname.com**/blog**/post-name Question: Is there a way to do it safely? Will I have to 301 all the old links to the new structure or is there any other way to do the switch without losing any links? Thoughts or any (other) suggestions? 🙂 Thanks much! 🙂 `Helen

What plugins & tactics are you using for Wordpress meta SEO?
Currently I use All-In-One SEO and I quite like how simple it is to setup and it's stable. Is that still one of the best ones? What are you using these days? Is it worth stripping out the superfluous meta tags that Wordpress now puts in? Is there any value to adding meta descriptions to all my Tag pages and if so, is there a good plugin that will auto magically create unique descriptions for these pages? Same goes for my paginated archives. Thanks!

Hello, I have a question how about how google sees dashes, slashes, full stops etc. I am new to SEO so this might be dumb. I sell refurbished printer parts. The majority of people search for the part number in google. A typical part number might be "04.F5/S3A YA50" . A customer might search for "04F5S3A YA50" or "04.F5/S3AYA50" or "04.F5/S3A YA50" or "04.F5/S3A-YA50". They aren't radically different but seem to effect the rankings.
