"We were unable to validate the following listings with Google or Facebook"
-
Hi,
I'm trying to submit the Moz Local service and it keeps saying unable to validate the listing even though our Facebook and Google accounts have been provided and match the listing. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be struggling to find our listing for some reason.
-
Currently, Moz Local doesn't accommodate service area businesses because a number of our partners don't accept an address of that format. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we do need a full street address for the business in order to publish it.

What do you do for a business that is a SAB?
-
Thanks, I think I'm talking to you about this by email too, assuming you get the replies
-
Hmmm, that sounds rather peculiar. Would you be able to send a link to the relevant Google+ or Facebook page over to help@moz.com so we can take a look? Thanks!
-
Thanks but I've just checked and we meet all those guidelines!

Hi there!
We've got a little blurb about that in the FAQ tab of this page on our Help Hub: https://moz.com/help/guides/local/listingI'll slap it in here as well
Facebook
-
Must be a Facebook local business page. An easy way to see if your page is a place/local business is to see if it has the following: About, Address, Hours, Contact and Reviews.
-
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing
-
Ensure that the page is publicly accessible (Check with incognito browser to see if the page is available prior to logging into Facebook. Also, possibly give a screenshot of a functionally configured Facebook page’s privacy settings.)
-
Make sure to have at least 2 check-ins to verify the physical location of your business. Not sure what to do here? Head to Facebook's resources to see how to let people check in and how you can check in.
Google+
-
Must be a Google+ local business page. Look for the ‘Review Summary’ section on the page. Some other things to look for: Verified check mark next to the page image, Address, Hours and Reviews. Here's an example of what the page looks like.
-
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing. Note that service-area businesses (SAB) without their full address listed will run into complications with Moz Local since not all of our partners support SAB's.
-
Must be a listed as a “verified local business". Remember that check mark we mentioned earlier? That's what you need!

Moz Local says Google + is 100% incomplete
Hi all. I've been trying to make improvements on my Local rankings as well as optimizing my website. When using Moz Local a lot of great information comes up showing me what's incomplete, what's duplicated, etc. It's very helpful. But for the life of me I don't know why my Google Plus page is coming up as 100% incomplete. I'm providing three links that possible will help. Any suggestions would be welcome! When I try to use the Moz local check my business listing tool, all the reference checks are UK based directories when my business is in Canada. Why does this happen? Is Canada supported?

Why are accuracy scores in the dashboard different than in the individual listing?
How come when I search for my location in the Moz Local dashboard, it shows me the Score and the Accuracy, but then when I click into the individual location and the accuracy score is much lower? Which one is the source of truth, and is the best to report to clients? I don't want to report on inflated numbers.

MOZ Local not recognizing listing in ranking - score should be higher
Hello I have used MOZ local for a client in New York City. Since we set up MOZ Local for his practice MOZ keeps showing there is no Facebook page nor a hot frog listing. However both of these listings exist and are correct. Is there a way to show MOZ that these listings exist so the MOZ Rank can show the proper score/accuracy. He wonders why the score isn't higher but there isn't much I can do at the moment. Thanks!

Submitted listings for Removal via MOZ local 7 months - still showing 'Request Submitted'
I manage multiple health care practices and have them submitted to MOZ Local. The main reason for this is to clean up and remove listings with inconsistent business names, addresses and phone numbers on aggregators such as InfoUSA and Localeze. I felt MOZ Local would be something that could save time and money for myself and clients so I wouldn't have to do the phone verification game for sites such as InfoUSA and localeze. In some cases I submitted for removal aggregator listings 7-8 months ago but they are still showing the same 'Request Submitted'. What is the standard time I can expect these requests to go through. I sort of feel duped believing that MOZ would remove duplicate/incorrect listings somewhat quickly. If anyone else has a similar experience or a timeframe of removal for sites MOZ works with that would be great.

Moz Local - "Not Submitted"
After a successful CSV submission to Moz Local, the only one that isn't submitted is Acxiom. It says "not submitted, not updated". Why is this? Will it just take more time? Is there an issue and if so, how can I rectify it? Thank you.
