Non Interaction Event Should be True or False?

Hi Experts,
I have done event tracking for my ecommerce site via tag manager. I have query on non interaction event should be True or false .
- Add to cart event
- Scroll Tracking
- Banner Clicks
- Discontinue product
So in above all event I have to set false or true non interaction event? If possible give me reason why true or false.
Like - as per me add to cart event non-interaction should be set to false. A visitor lands on a product detail page, clicks on the add to cart button and leaves the website. What how it will affect bounce rate here?

Setting an events non-interaction to "true" simply means that triggering that event will have NO impact on bounce rate.
I have seen cases where someone sets all the events to "false" effectively breaking the bounce rate of an entire site. When in doubt it's always safer to set non-interaction to "true", unless you want that interaction to have an impact on bounce rate. just be sure that event interaction isn't going to break the bounce rate metric for users who really do bounce.
Your example for adding a item to the cart without visiting any other page and then leaving is a prime candidate for setting non-interaction to "false". In that example a user leaving would not be tracked as a bounce since they did add something to the cart and the add to cart event has non-interaction set to "false".

Non-Interaction Virtual page views
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible in Google Analytics, to generate "non-Interaction" Virtual Page views. In other words, Virtual Page Views, that do not affect the bounce rate (exactly like when we set "non-Interaction": True when we fire an event). Tracking Pop Up Form Submission Events with GTM
Hello, I'm currently tracking contact form submissions any time a user clicks 'Submit' on a pop-up form. Once the form is submitted, the URL of the page remains the same (there is no /thank-you page or such like), hence needing to fire the Event based on a click. Problem is, even if the form is not actually submitted and a user just clicks the Submit button without filling in the fields, the Event will still fire. I know there is a way to ensure the Event ONLY fires when the form is actually submitted for real, but I don't know how to implement that in GTM. Any help most appreciated 🙂 Cheers, Gill.

Query on google analytic event report and customized report - Please help.
For my site I placed Black Friday offer.Now I have highlighted one product at homepage banner and tracking that with event. I am sharing with you actual figures of 1 day from Google analytic. Your proper response on this query will really really really helpful to me for understanding google analytic deeply and properly. Ecommerce Conversion Rate - 3.33% I am checking now report from All pages via Behaviour section - Page views - 97, Unique Page Views - 62, Entrances - 7, Bounce Rate - 57.14%, %Exit - 17.53% Now I create customize report for the same by adding
session -7
Ecommerce conversion rate - 0
unique events -4 MY query - when I added session in customized report then it is different from Event session why (7 and 30) ? same way Ecommerce conversion rate in customized report showing 0% why ( 0% and 3.33% ) ? same way unique events 4 and 30 ? do you suggest what is the best way to analysis such page or what will be best customize report for such analysis? Google Analytics - Events impacting session data
Hi Mozzers, Has anybody ever experienced event tracking significantly impacting session data? Here's a summary of what I'm finding: When I measure sessions to a particular hostname (a subdomain) in my Google Analytics report, sessions dropped by over 100% when I removed some event tracking on that subdomain (an event was triggered when a user clicked on a particular button). When I reinstate that event tracking, sessions go back up to around where they used to be. Can anybody understand why this might be happening? Thanks!

Event Tracking on GTM 2.0
I have created new account in google tag manager 2.0 Now can any body help me how to track event in GTM 2.0? Like example this is the site - flipkart(dot)com if you little bit scroll down then there is 3 tab ( pfa of snapshot) - 1) new arrivals 2) Men's Bestsellers 3) Women's Bestsellers. So i want to know that if anyone click on tabs or button given above then 1) what steps to do in tag manager then 2) what changes i have to update on my site and 3) where to check in google analytic on which tab visitor has clicked. Setting up Goal by Event.
Hi guys, I've need to set gup goal to track Banner Views and Clicks on my website based on the Event. I've set up the Event like this: | | Anh the page is http://www.danhgiaxe.com/so-sanh/ When I se the event on goal I filled like below: Category/Equal to/quangcaoBIG Action/Regular expression/bannerID_\d Label/Equal to/view I do the same for tracking Click. Turkish Invasion? Massive influx of non-english traffic
Last month, a client of mine has had a very large increase in irrelevant traffic. This traffic is all being sent by Google from mostly eastern Europe, but also from Egypt and Brazil. The largest influx is from Turkey. The traffic is all landing on only two URL's. The magnitude of this traffic is about 350 visits per day. The main keywords sending traffic are: müzik indirme programları (Turkish which translates to "music download programs") تحميل برنامج اوبرا (Arabic translates to "download Opera") program za skidanje muzike (Bosnian for "program for downloading music") My client is a small nonprofit summer music festival (with a strong emphasis on Opera music) so some of the on-page at least relates to these keywords. But the site is entirely in English. Since the words are related to a traditional sketchy vertical I'm worried that my client site has been hacked. Though, for the life of me, I can't imagine what anyone can gain from this. My questions are: Does anyone have any idea what is going on? What are the potential ramifications of this irrelevant traffic? (I'm worried about the traffic slowing down the site, I'm also worried that 350 visits per day and a 95% bounce rate is going to hurt my clients reputation with search engines) What can be done about it? Thank you for any insight you can provide.
