During my keyword research
-
Hello,
Is it normal that I find keyword in bolded in the search results that don't appear in keyword explorer when I do the my keyword research ?
Thank you,
-
Yep! It's a good idea to use a couple of different approaches when you're looking to research keywords!
-
I guess this is very helpful on searches where there is little volumes and the keyword tool doesn't have much, isn't it ?
-
When you search, you are going to see Google bolding related and relevant keywords from their proprietary database, which could be influenced by what they know about you specifically or what they are guessing based upon any odors that they can sense when your query arrives.
When I publish a new page, I often go do Google to do a number of searches and relevant searches to see who is competing, what they have published and what Google is showing in bold in the page titles and descriptions. I often see keywords there that research at SEMrush does not surface.

How non-US Moz customers will use Keyword Explorer after the Keyword Difficulty tool is retired?
The new Moz Keyword Explorer looks good but its search volume is US based and completely useless for non-US websites. This is from Rand's post: "while the tool can search any Google domain in any country, the volume numbers will always be for US-volume. In the future, we hope to add volume data for other geos as well." In the Keyword Difficulty tool, Moz shows Google search volume data, which is similar to what I see in the Google Keyword Planner and Google Search Console. For example, keyword X in the Australian search market has 6-7k searches in the Google Keyword Planner and 8k searches in Moz. The very same keyword has 118k-300k search volume in the new Keyword Explorer! Obviously this new search volume is not useful in the Australian market. I often used the Keyword Difficulty tool to identify new keyword opportunities but what can I do to complete the same tasks after they retire the tool?

Keyword used 2389 times in page
in the "on page grader" tool I get that the keyword appears 2389 times. I'ave searched for it in the developer console, thinking it might be due to invalid HTML - but the number it's appearance is no near to 2389. Can any one help me figure out why is this so? the page is http://naamanewman.co.il/photosGalleryID.aspx?id=34

Is there a way to see keyword density by percentage?
My management wants us to track the percentage of keyword density. While I don't feel this is as important as it once was, they want it nevertheless. I don't see a way to get that information. I thought it would be in the On-Page Grade, but if it is there I'm missing any. Is this possible in Moz Pro? Thanks,

On Page Grader - We have keyword in Meta Description But does not show up
The on-page grader is not counting/picking up the keyword in the meta description. We have double checked the meta description and re-uploaded the page, and checked the source code on-line. The keyword is there in meta description, but not showing up in on-page-grader. https://www.trustdeedrealestateinvesting.com/trimarkfunding/buy-first-trust-deeds.html keyword buy first trust deeds

Ambiguities In The MozBar Keyword Difficulty Checker
Hi, This is more of an observation rather than a real issue. But I noticed that when I check a keyword difficulty in Google by pressing the button that appears I get a different % result to the same keyword placed in the campaign. I suspect that it is something to do with being in the UK, however, If for instance I go to google.co.uk and place in the search bar IT support company Portsmouth I get the result 44% appear but in the keyword difficulty tool I get the result 34%. It seems to do this on all the keywords I have checked. I also checked both US and UK results in the campaign but neither of these came up within the 10% difference of the toolbar. Like I mentioned though, not a criticism, just an observation, its still a very handy little tool. EDIT 06/18/14: I thought I would just add that I am now getting some seriously odd results. For instance, if I put in the keyword 'hairy blue widgets for sale in Outer Mongolia' it returns a difficulty level of 71% ??? Thanks

Keyword Ranking Question - Paid Ads?
Hi everyone. I have a question about the Keyword Ranking tool. I am currently tracking 93 keywords. My question is, does the ranking count just organic rankings or does it count if my company is spending money on a google ad? So for instance, if all paid ads were stopped on Google, the current keywords we rank for according to the MOZ tool shouldn't change, right? Thanks.

Keyword Difficulty and SERP Analysis Tool
Please can someone explain the following to me: On the Keyword Difficulty tool when I enter a keyword and choose on Google United Kingdom to see the search volume why does it automatically bring back the local and global search volume for Bing? Doesn't make sense. g4JJkug.jpg
