What are the factors that matter to increase domain or page authority because we know domain authority is crucial, it's the best and easy way to tell someone about your website that how worthy your site is.
Is backlinks only the metric to increase domain authority? -
Domain authority is a logarithmic scale score from 1 to 100 and a metric used by Moz and not Google directly for ranking. You may notice that new websites have DA which is 1. It is an industry-accepted metric that tells you how well a website can rank on Google.
Here is an example of a domain with a relatively good domain authority than a new website: https://www.zacocomputer.com/
Here's a domain with a perfect domain authority score: https://www.apple.com/
Also, quality backlinks play a crucial role in improving domain authority. Consider quality backlinks as votes to your website from the humungous online space of websites.
Similarly, quality backlinks to the corresponding page can improve your page authority for the corresponding page. Note I'm focusing on the term quality here because these are eventually trustworthy online sources who have built trust since the past years on the internet.
Also, your domain age can be considered a factor in domain authority. Generally, good domains that have a longer online presence (more years) will tend to have a higher DA than the ones which don't. The same is true in the case of corresponding pages.
Do note that a domain having a low DA score can rank well on Google provided the content is relevant and of high quality, which is absolutely fine.
Also, the following factors play a major role in your websites overall DA:
The relevancy of the incoming links to your website property
The quality and freshness of your on-page content
The number of incoming links to your website
The social signals and the popularity of your website on social platforms
You overall SEO performance of the website (on-page and technical SEO along with off-page SEO)
Page Speed MetricsJust don't make a mistake to directly compare Google's Page Rank(Ranking Score) to Moz's DA (Domain Authority Score)
To conclude, a website that typically has high authority pages will correspondingly have a higher DA.

Best SEO Structure For E-Commerce With Products Using Multiple Categories
Hi all, I am in the process of re-structuring my e-commerce website for better SEO and user experience. I have done some keyword research and would like some advice on how best to structure my site around those keywords. For example, my site (All Things Nature) sells a brand of wooden sculptures (Woodsculp) and I would like to rank for keywords related to that brand, the brand by animal, the brand by collection and the brand by release date.

Examples of keywords could be: Brand by Animal: Woodsculp Dogs, Woodsculp Cats, Woodsculp Elephants
Brand by Collection: Woodsculp Pets, Woodsculp Safari
Brand by Release Date: Woodsculp Christmas 2023, Woodsculp Summer 2022 I would create each of these keywords as a category so that they can be found by a search engine and by users. I would then structure as follows: All Things Nature -> Woodsculp -> Woodsculp by Animal -> Woodsculp Dogs
All Things Nature -> Woodsculp -> Woodsculp by Animal -> Woodsculp Elephants
All Things Nature -> Woodsculp -> Woodsculp by Collection -> Woodsculp Pets
All Things Nature -> Woodsculp -> Woodsculp by Collection -> Woodsculp Safari

Woodsculp Christmas 2023 The next issue I have is that I have products which could fall under several different categories. Does using a sub-domain lessen the effectiveness of your main domain?
For example a website without a blog and is a simple html site with no blogging capabilities. We go out to Blogger or Wordpress and set up the blog portion of the website using something like blog.yourdomain.com. Does this make a difference SEO wise? Is is more effective to be sure that you are using the main domain and not a sub-domain? I have heard both sides before but can't seem to find the concrete answer. Thanks for any advise out there.

Redirecting a Page from Domain A to Domain B
We have a page on Domain A, an established and well-ranking website, that would be more appropriate on Domain B, a site that we launched about two years ago. This page ranks well, pulls nice search traffic and has traffic from external links. We would like to move the page and its traffic from Domain A to Domain B using a 301 redirect. Have you ever done this or have you heard of how it has worked for someone else? Thanks!

Should I 301 a penalized domain to another domains subfolder?
I have a niche domain seems to have been hit by Penguin. It had very good rankings before the update, and I think at least a good part of the penalty might be due to overoptimized anchor text. So here is the question; If I decide to take this site down, should I 301 the entire domain to a relevant sub-folder of another site? i.e comtemporaryfurniture.com to domain.com/category/modern-furniture.html Will the penalty get passed onto the new domain? If the penalty is partly due to anchor text, then pointing it to another site's subfolder would mean the tartget URL has more varied anchor text and could boost rankings.
