How much weight do Twitter Lists carry in Google's determination of user influence?
-
I have come across a number of Twitter users that have 1000+ Followers, and they typically follow 1000+ people. I've noticed as of late that many of these people are found on fewer lists. I also know that many twitter users are selective about who they actually allow in their main twitter stream and therefore create lists to manage who they follow.
Any thoughts on if /how twitter lists contribute to a user's authority and/or influence from the SERP's perspective?

It seems to me that that would almost have to be part of the puzzle. If you read, which I know you have
the SEL post on what social factors Bing and Google look at it touches on it if only peripherally. re:
3) Do you calculate whether a link should carry more weight depending on the person who tweets it?
Bing:
Yes.
Google:
Yes we do use this as a signal, especially in the “Top links” section [of Google Realtime Search]. Author authority is independent of PageRank, but it is currently only used in limited situations in ordinary web search.
I can't help but think that the number and type of lists a person's Twitter account wouldn't be an obvious thing for them to include in their 'author rank'.
Also the previous question hints at it as well:
2) Do you try to calculate the authority of someone who tweets that might be assigned to their Twitter page. Do you try to “know,” if you will, who they are?
Bing:
Yes. We do calculate the authority of someone who tweets. For known public figures or publishers, we do associate them with who they are. (For example, query for Danny Sullivan)
Google:
Yes we do compute and use author quality. We don’t know who anyone is in real life
Also - if you think about it this could be symptomatically included as well. Because a person is included on more lists on specific topics (or not) they are likely to be more popular, which is likely to coincide a higher number of followers, RTs, etc. So maybe it's not directly related but it's a sign.

Google+ and youTube
Hi everyone, Question regarding Google+ and youTube - 2 things I'm not massively au fait with these days. We have a number of branches all of whom have a Google+ account (with GoogleMyBusiness).
Social Media | | LoonyToons
All of these branches will soon be setup with a Communications Manager login only (for GoogleMyBusiness) as we need to restrict them from changing branch details. The powers that be in my company, have decided that we need to have 2 youtube channels for each branch.
One for news and the other for advertising properties. Having researched this, we understand that if we setup a new youTube channel, that will create another Google+ page - which we don't want, and could cause no end of trouble with duplicate Google+ pages. We are obviously going to try and persuade management to use only one youTube channel per branch, but in the event of being overridden does anyone have any advice on how to achieve 1 Google+ page with 2 youTube channels?1 -

How do I merge a google+ and a youtube account?
Before Google merged Google+ and Youtube, we had opened a Google+ account for our business from one email account and a separate account on youtube from a separate account. Now that Google merged the two channels, it created a new G+ page for our youtube account. but I want to merge the youtube account with our formal Google+ page. How do I go about doing that Thank you Joni

Yet another Google Plus One question: Does it affect ranking for people that you are NOT connected to?
Title pretty much explains it all. If lots of people plus one (the new verb of 2011?) a site, is that site deemed 'popular' and therefore will appear higher up the SERPS generally? Or does it only affect those with whom you are linked via Twitter/Facebook/Google+? Or is it too early to tell yet?
