Unsolved How long do you tell your SEO customers to wait before they start to see actual results from their SEO?
-
So, this is probably one of the most challenging questions for SEO agencies likes ours to answer.
That is how long does it take for a business to see an increase in sales, because of the business investing in organic or local SEO.
It ultimately comes down to how competitive the business sector is, we do know that.
We are just wondering what various SEO companies tell their clients.
Is it for example, they have to wait a minimum of six months of paying for SEO, before they can get the business on page one of Google?
Or, instead, do you carry out an SEO audit at the start, and then make an estimate for how long it will take to get the business on page one of Google?

The timeline for SEO results varies depending on factors like website grinder, competition, and optimization efforts. Typically, clients may start noticing improvements in search rankings and traffic within 3 to 6 months. However, continuous SEO efforts yield better long-term results.
-
At thedigitalxperts, we advise our SEO customers to anticipate seeing tangible results within 3 to 6 months of implementing our strategies. However, it's important to note that the timeline for SEO results can vary based on factors such as the competitiveness of your industry, the quality of your website's optimization, and the consistency of your efforts. I always tell my SEO customers to expect noticeable results within 3 to 6 months after implementing SEO strategies. SEO is a long-term process that takes time to deliver expected results. While some improvements may appear sooner, backlinks typically take time to crawl and index by search engines.
-
@sarahwalsh The timeline for seeing tangible results from investing in organic or local SEO can vary significantly depending on various factors such as the competitiveness of the industry, the current state of the website, the quality of the SEO efforts, and the specific goals of the business. While there is no one-size-fits-all answer, here are some common approaches and considerations that SEO agencies might communicate to their clients:
-
Initial SEO Audit and Strategy Development: Many SEO agencies start by conducting a comprehensive SEO audit to assess the current state of the website, identify areas for improvement, and develop a tailored strategy. This initial phase typically sets the foundation for future SEO efforts and provides insights into the timeline for achieving desired results.
-
Timeline Estimates: Based on the findings of the SEO audit and the specific goals of the business, SEO agencies may provide clients with estimated timelines for achieving certain milestones, such as ranking on the first page of Google for target keywords. These estimates are often informed by factors such as keyword competitiveness, website authority, and the level of competition in the industry.
-
Long-Term Investment Perspective: SEO is often considered a long-term investment rather than a quick fix. While some improvements may yield immediate results, significant improvements in search engine rankings and organic traffic typically require consistent effort over time. SEO agencies may advise clients to approach SEO with a long-term perspective and emphasize the importance of patience and persistence.
-
Regular Monitoring and Adjustment: SEO is an ongoing process that requires continuous monitoring, analysis, and adjustment. SEO agencies may work closely with clients to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and adapt strategies accordingly. Regular reporting and communication help ensure that both the agency and the client are aligned on goals and expectations.
-
Transparency and Communication: Transparent communication is key in managing client expectations regarding the timeline for seeing results from SEO efforts. SEO agencies should provide clients with realistic estimates based on data and experience, while also keeping them informed of any significant changes or developments along the way.
Ultimately, the timeline for seeing an increase in sales as a result of investing in organic or local SEO can vary from business to business. While some businesses may start seeing improvements within a few months, others may require more time to achieve significant results. Patience, ongoing effort, and effective communication between the SEO agency and the client are essential for maximizing the success of SEO campaigns.

Do You Risk A Penalty From Local Paid Directories in 2022?
Hi there, I have a client who wants to advertise in a local directory along the lines of "find your nearest plumber". The directory only has paid listings and they are follow links and they also mention your site or generated landing page may get a nice bump on google. Is there a risk that they may get a penalty for using this directory? The client wants to use it regardless of if it gives them an SEO boost but obviously wants to avoid any penalties at all costs. Thoughts on this? Thanks in advance

Moz Local - Multiple Business Customers
Hi,
Moz Local | | rufo
I've looked at Moz Local as it now seems to include UK based submissions.
It looks great. However as I have a number of customers that would benefit from the service I wanted to know if MOZ lets you submit numerous businesses or is it just for the business that you have your account with. I really want to use the service for customers but I'm not sure whether its just a single company with the possibility of multiple addresses or if its multiple businesses. Thanks in advance,

Changing LLC to Inc. and seeing Facebook
I'm having 2 possibly related issues with a Moz Local listing. The first is that the company the listing is for was an LLC when we put the listing up, but have since changed a C corporation, so the name needs to change from ________ LLC to _________, Inc. I've updated the name on their validated Google+ local business listing a few weeks ago, and Moz Local sees that listing, but the name on Moz Local hasn't updated yet. The second issue is that it's not verifying through Facebook, and the Facebook page that Moz Local CAN see is the wrong one. I edited the listing and manually added the URL to the correct Facebook page a few weeks ago, but that still hasn't gone through either. One last thing, if it makes any difference, is that the company's website does have a link directly to the proper Facebook page. Hopefully there's a quick and/or easy way to resolve this. Thanks!
