ECommerce Tracking in Analytics - Should I use a plugin or do it manually?
-
Hi,
I have a WordPress site (woocommerce integrated). I would like to know should I use a plugin to enable e-commerce tracking in Google Analytics or I should do it manually with GTM. Which is a better way?
Will using a plugin to enable e-commerce tracking slow down my site? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

We recommend hiring a web developer to ensure they put the Google Analytics code on every page- to ensure that your business gets reliable SEO information.
We have had problems with a company building fencing/ garden bars that involved us re adding the code so that we could get seo information from Google Analytics.

Whenever you install a plugin you will slow down somewhat the performance of your wordpress. But many times you have to value what that plugin offers you versus the knowledge you have to do it manually. That's why I recommend that if you don't have the necessary knowledge to do it manually do it through a plugin, save time and not go crazy. I also recommend you to know more about Google Tag Manager, offers great utilities to create custom events that allow you to carry out a very complete monitoring of your ecommerce.

Whats (Other) traffic in Google Analytics?
When I look through all our clients, a few are receiving the majority of their traffic from (other). [ Acquisition > Channels > (Other) ]. The only option in (other) is "website" or "offline", whatever that may be. And even weirder, the avg session duration is 0:00. Any idea what this may be?

Google Analytics SEO Queries Not Showing
Hi All, This might be a silly question, but for all the properties I monitor in Google Analytics, I'm now showing no data for SEO Queries under Acquisition for the past 6 days. Normally I would expect a few day delay in queries, but nothing for 6 days is somewhat peculiar especially as it was functioning fine prior to November 12th. Does anyone have insight into what might be going on? Thanks! URaNMa3

Tracking Goals on a Subdomain?
What needs to be done to Analytics to track goal completions on a subdomain? The main Analytics profile is set up for example.com, but landing pages for paid campaigns are set up at sub.example.com. Thank-you page is sub.example.com/thank-you.php What needs to be modified in Analytics (or to the Analytics code) or how do the goals need to be set up to track these subdomain conversions all within the same Analytics profile? They're not tracking currently. Thanks.

Google Analytics censoring keywords?
The top keyword on our real time GA is showing as a blank. There's a topic of a sexual nature in our talk threads trending on Twitter right now which is driving a lot of traffic and I'm wondering whether Google have censored the keyword. The next few keywords are our name and variants of. Could there be some other reason why this word isn't showing up? Has anyone else experienced this?

Analytics/Google Keyword comparison
Hi I'm trying to establish a methodology to best show the gap between potential and realised organic keyword traffic. To obtain potential keyword traffic I'm using the Google Adwords keyword tool to derive local monthly search volumes for exact keyword matches. However, I'm confused as to which is the best way of getting a comparable metric from Google Analytics (GA). I was using custom reports and the 'organic searches' metric. However, this provides different values to a standard report selecting non-paid search in the default advanced segments. What is the best report/metric in GA to use for both organic and paid search volumes that would be comparable to the Google Adwords keyword tool. Also, I'm having problems getting my kids to eat their greens, any advice! 😉 Thanks Neil
