Unsolved Homepage keyword Ranking

Can anyone shed some light on how a competitor can have over 500 keywords for the home page, which I can not see when I read through the page itself.
I have looked at the page sauce "keywords and is lists less than 10,.
So my question is how can Moz say it has over 500 when i cant see them or has the site hidden them. If they are hidden Google has not penalised them for keyword stuffing.
Can anyone shed some light on this Thanks in advance

Hi,
I found this post relevant to my issue. I m working on my site very hard. Traffic significiently increased but there are no ranking keywords in moz. Its a german website. Kindly guide me regarding this, what strategy should i adopt to rank the keywords.
Thanks -
@sarahwalsh This could be the case, I've seen it several times. Of course, it could also be one of the other reasons mentioned in this thread, but this is a "good suspect".

There are several reasons for that!
Not all SEO tools tell us the same number of keywords, that a page ranks for. It is just an estimate, & every tool has different algorithm so that's why you can only get an idea from them.
-
The discrepancy between the number of keywords reported by Moz and the actual number visible on the page can be attributed to several factors:
Hidden Keywords: The page might be using techniques like meta keywords, header tags, or internal linking to hide the keywords from view. These methods can make the keywords invisible to casual visitors but still detectable by search engines like Google.
Keyword Density: The page might be using keyword density techniques, such as repeating keywords in the content, meta tags, and header tags. This can make it difficult to identify the exact number of keywords, as they are spread throughout the page.
Long-Tail Keywords: The page might be targeting long-tail keywords that are not immediately visible. Long-tail keywords are more specific phrases with lower search volumes but can still contribute to the overall keyword count.
Keyword Variations: The page might be using variations of the same keyword, such as synonyms or related phrases. These variations can increase the overall keyword count without being immediately apparent.
SEO Tools: SEO tools like Moz might be using advanced algorithms to detect and count keywords that are not visible to the naked eye. These tools can analyze the page's HTML, meta tags, and other technical aspects to provide a more comprehensive view of the page's keywords.
In summary, the discrepancy between the reported number of keywords and the actual number visible on the page is likely due to a combination of these factors

@rubierae1524 While SEO tools like Moz offer approximations, the competitor likely isn't stuffing keywords. The homepage might focus on a few key terms, with variations targeted elsewhere to reach a wider audience. Focus on creating high-quality content that targets relevant keywords for your own site, rather than trying to match a specific number. Homepage Keywords Getting Top Ranking is more Hardest Way Nowadays. But Specific page target to Specific Keywords that will be potential way. https://www.vivaindia.com.mx/

Hi, it could just be because the homepage to that site has some really good quality links, which means that it had so much link juice, its ranking high across so many keywords. Our fencing business, got on page one, once we started building quality links.

Keywords showed volume before but now they say 'no data available'
Keywords showed volume before but now they say 'no data available'. And this is happening with common words like "prints" - I'm dead certain this keyword should not have 'no data available'. What's going on? How do I reset or fix this? I only have 12 days left of my trial and I can't even use the feature I need.

Moz rank tracking with new subpage address
Hello, I have built a new website and the subpages web address are new. I haven't made a redirect yet but I am about to do it. How do I continue keeping track of my ranking evolution in moz. Do I need to indicate the new web address ? or once the redirect will be done will moz continue the tracking of my keywords showing the old web address but tracking the new address ? Thank you,

Why didn't the Moz rankings change yesterday?
As of this morning, the Domain Authority section on our campaign still reads: "Next scheduled update: Jan 25, 2017 PST" and nothing has changed - it is still showing our old DA and how much it went up since last time. Is this a problem on our end, or is Moz experiencing difficulties with DA updates? Thanks in advance!

How to find first set of Moz rankings?
I'm trying to compare the state of our seo before we started moz to now. I can't find the first set of rankings and on-page grades when I initially setup Moz. I do have access to our first report, but in that first week, I made a number of changes based on the initial crawl/rankings/on-page grades. Anyone know how to get that? Thanks, Ruben

Duplicate Page Content Report on Moz - Still ranking in Google Results?
Hi, I am experiencing 2 issues with the Duplicate Page Content in Moz. Every week it is notifying me of new duplicate content - so it seems to be missing duplicate content each week and the crawl is never above the 5000-6000 page mark, which means that it is under 10K which is the limit, so presumably everything is crawled in that one go so surely it should detect all of the dupe content on 1 crawl as opposed to having to do various crawls to detect it no? The dupe content report shows me pages that indeed have duplicate content but after checking, these are ranking on Google for their terms... ? Is the duplicate page content report incremental ? Will it add more duplicate content and increase the report every week or does it just show that week's results? If so, it's a bit like chasing my tail... Help!
