False Conversion Data in GA

Hi all, I have a problem with Conversion Tracking in Google Analytics. Our contact form conversion completes when the user hits the Thank You page. Yesterday we had an increase in conversions that didn't correlate to form submission emails.
It appears that one person filled out our form, then returned (hit the back button?) to the Thank You page another 8 times as there were 8 entrances to the Thank You page and it's currently no indexed.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
Or should I just note in Analytics that the Conversion data is wrong for that day and note how many?

What you're describing should only report one goal success according to this, unless they're going to the thank you page in different browsers/devices? Is it all the same person for sure? Or could someone have shared this URL?

Thanks for your answer. It's not so much about the form being submitted more than once, it's more about the thank you page getting hit and creating inflated stats.
It seems to me that the person who is doing this is leaving our site and then backing into the thank-you page (see attached).
Per the attached, the Goal Previous Step - 1 is (entrance) so to me that would mean that they are backing into the page. They are definitely entering the page, not sure exactly what they are doing.
I've also attached a Reverse Goal Path for another site which shows the traditional (accurate) Goal flow.

One way to achieve this is disable submit button through javascript after 1st click.
Ask developer how he can do it for specific time period. There must be some way.
Other way is after on thank you page, provide good navigation options for user, so he will not come back and hit same button.Thanks

Hello All, I want to do banner conversion tracking for my ecommerce site. That is at my homepage I display 4 banners with special offers on 4 different products. Now that 4 products are already falls in relevant categories. I did event tracking for banners from where I can know how many clicks I am getting from each banner but My Query is how to know conversion of all 4 banner products because once I create goal that is funnel like 1) home page 2) product page 3) checkout step 4) Thank you page. GA: How do I preserve custom dimension across domain and subdomain?
Using custom dimensions our site tracks logged-in vs not logged-in users on our shop site (shop.example.com). A user can only login on the shop.example.com. The problem is when the logged in user visits our the main domain (example.com), we lose the custom dimension and the user becomes anonymous. At this point, if the user goes back to shop.example.com, the logged-in custom dimension comes back. How do I preserve the logged-in user dimension across the main domain? Example of snippet:

Conversion analytics goals
Hello, I have to configure my analytics goals for my SEO estrategy. In Google Analytics I can choose between: destiny, duration, Pages/screens per session and event. But I don't have the best criteria for select each one. What are the best options for a content site and for a e - commerce? Otherwise, I wanna know which is a good bounce rate for a content site? Structured Data dropped suddenly
Just noticed a large drop in Webmaster tools of our structured data graphs. Both "items" and "items with errors" dropped. It is across the board on all our sites. Even checked some of the sites that I do consulting work for, and they dropped. My assumption is that this is another Google glitch, similar to what we saw last year, and in March of this year, where is corrected itself. Anyone else seeing anything on their end?

Has GA changed how it calculates bounce rate?
Updated website from Magento backend to Wordpress and since the redeploy, my bounce rate has dropped from 40% to 4%. I did check to see if there was duplicate GA tracking code but only one call. I checked reports under "visitor flow" and one page visits seem inline with the previous bounce rate. Weird. Never experienced this before.

How Do I Create Custom Reports In GA For First Click Attribution?
It only took me a year and a half to get the code Will Critchlow laid out in a blog post last year put on my website. Now I've finally got it but I need more instruction on how to create the custom report I need in GA! Will said he was going to expand on how to set up the custom reports but I'm not sure he ever did. So, can anyone either direct me to Will's follow-up post about setting up custom reports for first click attribution or tell me how to do it? Thanks!
