Is it possible to share a post from someone's personal FB wall to a company fan page if they have the permissions set to allow this? I often get a message that a share was denied and I'm not sure if shares from personal to business fan pages are always denied or if this is controlled by the person's privacy settings.

You'll get denied if the settings of the post aren't completely public. If for whatever reason that person doesn't share the post to the world, you won't be able to share it with everyone and it will have limited view on your wall.

Assigning g+ page as author?

Hey, Recently we are quite disturbed about if we should assign our business g+ page as an author for main pages of the site and home page? I will explain shortly:
We are a group of professionals that write content (each one on his own subject), the posts / reviews / videos etc... we make are each assigned to our personal g+ profiles. Now my question is:
What should we do with pages like the homepage or main pages?
Should we assign the website g+ business page as the author? or publisher is enough?

Google plus inner pages.

Hi my google plus profile ( rel author) is anly appearing only in the results where my home page is shown. Every time a inner page appears in the serps is without it. I added the the my profile rel author link to a google plus link I have in a site wide footer for which I assumed all the pages will be included. Any ideas for best practises? thanks very much. Facebook fan page does not show up in Google Search

This fan page - http://www.facebook.com/AnytimeFitnessSantaRosa does not show up in the Google search results for "Anytime Fitness Santa Rosa Facebook" (broad match search). Other Anytime Fitness pages show up in position 1 and 2 and the website for the one I want to rank the Facebook page shows up in position 5 (http://anytimefitness.com/gyms/1352/Santa Rosa-CA-95407). Also I noticed something weird (but maybe unrelated - the url has a %20 in it but shouldn't - it should be a "-" (dash).

B2B social share

Hello, Social sharing is a positive signal for SEO.Google told on its blog, Googlebot take car of more than 200 social websites. Sometime Twitter and Facebook aren't good marketing places because business isn't B2C but B2B. So customers doesn't use them for job, but they use Linkedin, Viadeo, Xing, and maybe some other. I can't be present onto all social website, I've to choose the most relevant.
I already know which are better for branding and CRM. But for SEO, which is better for you, and why ? Thanks

Facebook Shares and the rel="canonical" tag

We use canonical tags for multipart videos, using part 1 of the series as their canonical tag. The logic behind this is that if you have eight parts, it's better for part 1 to get all the link juice for the entire series, so that when someone searches for the main keyword, part 1 is the highest ranked part to appear in search results, and the link juice from every part is aggregated into that one page. The problem is the Facebook made changes to their URL sharing practices to reflect the canonical tag. So as long as the tag is used Facebook ignores the image and description from say part 2, and uses the description from part 1. Can this be waived by using Facebook Open Graph Protocol? Thanks!!

Roundup of Facebook Share & Facebook Like. Which one is better for SEO?

There doesn't seem to be clear cut advice / data on whether Facebook Share or Facebook Like is more valuable from an SEO standpoint. So I'm asking you SEOmoz fans have you come across conclusive evidence or have your own sites / testes proven that one is stronger than the other.
