Breadcrumbs showing up in every snippet in search
-
Ok I created breadcrumbs on my site long ago. They popup every time which what i'm concerned about. I wanted them to pop up for searches that lead to my homepage, but the breadcrumbs pop up for every product and every page on my site. My question is does this hurt searches for the link part of it. As you know search engines check title link and descriptions. Will my link not be counted in or is the breadcrumb purely cosmetic. Just want to know if i'm limiting my rank.
Here's a product that should show its own breadcrumb
type "Bia Brazil BT3341 BKS-Sexy" in google to see example. I should be number one under ads
My code that creates breadcrumbs is as follows:
I REMOVED CODE FROM WEBSITE FOR NOW UNTIL I FIGURE OUT. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE ANSWERS BEFORE search results change thx.

Personally, I'd leave them in place. I don't think it does any harm to have the bread crumbs in place. Now if it was creating additional URL's I would say you may have an issue but I don't think you have anything to worry about. If anything it could provide a benefit

Google shows date in the SERPS for the homepage
Hi SEO's we've build a site and our now trying to rank it but it won't go up despite of regular new unique content and a higher DA than most competitors. All tools like MOZ en Yoast SEO show green lights so we're kinda out of ideas right now. Till we saw the date in the SERPS for the meta description. This gives us the idea that Google sees it as a post and not as a page which might explain the low ranking. However there are no technical causes we can think off for Google to show the date. Any ideas on this matter? Could it be that Yoast SEO is causing this even although we tell it not to show dates? Love to hear from you!

301 redirect to search results page?
Hi - we just launched our redesigned website. On the previous site, we had multiple .html pages that contained links to supporting pdf documentation. On this new site, we no longer have those .html landing pages containing the links. The question came up, should we do a search on our site to gather a single link that contains all pdf links from the previous site, and set up a redirect? It's my understanding that you wouldn't want google to index a search results page on your website. Example: old site had the link http://www.oldsite.com/technical-documents.html new site, to see those same links would be like: http://www.newsite.com/resources/search?View+Results=&f[]=categories%3A196

Rich Snippets For Q&A Forums?
As Google seems to have new interest in Rel Author for articles, is there anything comparable for q&a comments, where you have many commenters? IMHO, Google is trying to get at the quality of the authors advice via authority of some kind, especially for YMYL content. Best... Mike

Should Site Search results be blocked from search engines?
What are the advantages & disadvantages of letting Google crawl site search results? We currently have them blocked via robots.txt, so I'm not sure if we're missing out on potential traffic. Thanks!

I own a website, and recently had a HUGE spike in organic search traffic from Google over the weekend. It seems to be going back down. Anyone have any idea why? Anyone have any similar experiences? odd-traffic.png

Pay on Organic Search Results
Are there companies out there that accept payment on the results they get for organic search listings? I have a site that I want to be number 1 for two terms on Google UK and .com and I while I dont think it will take much effort I would like to find a decent SEO company or person that can do this and be paid for the result. What do people think?
