FAQ Schema Markup
-
I was wondering which blog posts would qualify for an FAQ Schema markup. For instance, we have a blog post which is more like a Q&A interview with our customer where our product gets mentioned several times. Would we get dinged for including our product name in the markup? First of all does that kind of blog posts even qualify for the markup?

when you're having your website designed, whether it's WordPress or different type of CMS, do add schema to your website,
-
Any page that has a question and answer format can be written up with the schema mentioned. It doesn't matter if it's a blog post per se or an actual FAQ page. Markup is just markup. That doesn't mean it will show up in Google's results. The page you submitted is eligible for rich snippets. The markup looks good. I personally use "QAPage" vs "FAQPage" but the code is good and has been run through Google's tester. See link.
I've only been doing the markup for a few months but on the site that I do have snippets, it's for questions that are actually searched for in Google and typically they show up in Google's autocomplete results. Not to say that other forms of questions can't but I've only had success with higher search volume phrases for my site. I also found that the shorter the question phrase the better chance they had to show up. Our FAQ page has 25 Qs and As and only 5 of them show up in rich snippets. We also have a domain authority of 62 so I'm not sure if that helps either. Again, this is mostly anecdotal and not empirical.
Hope it helps.

As this schema is generated by Yoast plugin, I haven't applied any custom steps. Recently I published a post https://dailycontributors.com/kisscartoon-alternatives-and-complete-review/ and I tested it at two platforms of schema test 1, Validator.Schema.org
2. Search.google.com/test/rich-results So the validator generate results as follows and shows no error
Schema without error.PNG It shows no error But where as Schema with error.PNG in search central results it gives me a warning "Missing field "url" (optional)". So is this really be going to issue for my ranking ? Please help thanks!6 -
Schema markup for Webinars
I'm looking for a solution to implement schema markup for our webinars. We have an events page that has a list of upcoming events, as well as a list of the webinars we've done with a link to YouTube to watch the webinar. The webinars on our events page have the title and date. What kind of schema markup can we implement for these past events? It is not really an event, but it's not a video either (unless we embed the video on our site). Any tips? (**Also, I would like to use JSON-LD instead of HTML to implement the schema). Thanks!

Will Google Data Highlighter support other schemas?
At the moment I see that the Data Highlighter supports a few schemas such as Events, Products, Articles, Restaurants etc. My client has a training division and runs regular training courses so we want to highlight those using the tool as "Training Courses," but this is not an option. Does anyone know why the tool doesn't support more categories and if there are plans to expand what it supports? I realise it would be better to use actual HTML markup onto the client site but their website is administered by their corporate parent in another country and they are not prepared to add in a Wordpress plugin to allow this. But the UK division, that we work for, wants to use it. We have restricted access to the Wordpress site so we don't have the access rights to add in plugins ourselves otherwise it would be no problem to do this.

Author schema and Wordpress Author Page
Hi everyone, Has anyone tried using the author schema on their Wordpress author page or on their G+ profile or on their Moz profile? Would it be a good idea to always use it where you publish? I publish on several blogs Thanks Carla example: Use it here - http://www.posicionamientowebenbuscadores.com/blog/author/carla/ http://moz.com/community/users/392216 It seems like I would be over doing it.

Mobile header and Schema Tags
We have recently made a website I work on responsive. This involved taking their original desktop site and then making it work on mobiles/tablets. Due to the nature of their existing header we are serving a different version to mobiles/tablets. Do the schema tags which are on the desktop header need to be added to the mobile version or are they just needed on the desktop code?
