Youtube Social Blog - how to set this up?
-
I noticed that some sites have a specific section on Youtube, under the structure youtube.com/social/blog, which contains backlinks to the site. For example, this Twilight blog: http://www.youtube.com/social/blog/twilightish
I've had trouble finding out information about this. Is this auto-generated by Youtube, or can someone set this up?

One thing you can try is reaching out to your Adwords Account team (or reach out to Google and request an Adwords Acct Manager, if you don't already have one). They are often able to get you additional Youtube perks.

Joe is right. Its a volume/popularity game at that point. If its a hot topic, with lots of different views going on, Youtube and Google will do different things with the content. I have also noticed that these videos will get on the first 3 results in google (they get promoted above other content).
All you can do (as far as I know) is set up your own custom page on youtube.

Hi,
It looks like you don't get it so much as google deems that your content is worthy of it. The official name right now is 'As Seen On' YouTube Pages'

Youtube SEO Resources
Does anyone have any recommendations for Youtube SEO Resources in 2016? I've done a lot of work with Local SEO on video but having to move up a notch to national SEO in a competitive field

Youtube Views
We have a Youtube channel that has a 7+ years of history and a bunch of views. With that said they are not tagged or described very well on youtube. For business reasons, we are considering creating a new Google/Youtube account, then moving the videos to the new account and properly tagging. Does anyone have SEO thoughts on essentially killing our youtube views/history?

Can you get rich snippets for Youtube hosted videos?
My website has several videos, mostly product reviews and tutorials. I'd like for these videos to show in the SERPs with rich snippets, but I am hosting them through Youtube. What is your experience with Youtube hosted videos? Do they generate rich snippets? Or will Google always rank the Youtube video over your web page?

To use or not to use YouTube - That is the question!
We often get clients asking us what is the best option for getting the most out of their videos. We typically default to this blog post: http://moz.com/blog/hosting-and-embedding-for-video-seo We have had clients question this information, sending us such links as: http://marketingland.com/infographic-video-youtube-wins-google-universal-search-37971

Videos not displaying within YouTube search results (query starting with '@' symbol)
We recently uploaded a video to YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah0CgZ22NNU) only to realize that it wasn't being displayed within YouTube's internal search results when searched for by the brand name. Our partner's brand name is @WashULaw. If you were to search for @WashULaw on YouTube, you'll notice it returns a 'No Search Results' page (http://screencast.com/t/ZP3SGM5sr). However, when you search for keywords without the @ symbol (i.e. washulaw, wash u law, etc) within YouTube, our video is discovered. However, if you enter the @ symbol within their search bar and choose one of the auto-suggest keywords, you'll notice the query returns video matches (http://screencast.com/t/wkghMhRY). Looking at the view counts of these videos, they appear to be over 100K each. Our video has been indexed by YouTube (http://screencast.com/t/6xV3kW2DHQ6R) and Google (http://screencast.com/t/r4jloA0BpPf). We've even added @WashuLaw as a tag. My question, does anyone have an idea as to why our video isn't displaying when someone searches for our brand @WashULaw with the @ symbol within YouTube's search? ZP3SGM5sr

What's the best method for posting the same video with different phone and address on YouTube?
For a franchise network, what's the best method for posting the same video that is tagged with different phone numbers and address per each location on YouTube? Will this get removed as duplicate content eventually? Or if I use the geo-tagging feature, will this help?

Is video on more than one YouTube channel considered duplicate content?
If you have video on your YouTube channel that someone else downloads and then reuploads to their channel, is it duplicate content (even though right now video cannot be crawled)?
