Increasding the number of Tweets & FB Shares

Just asking for advice / strategy on increasing the number of tweets & Facebook shares to a particular domain.
We're seriously lacking in this department and I'm not exactly sure how to get started as we're a B2B services company.
We're languishing on page 2 of Google where all the other stats look good enough for us to be in the top 5, tweets and FB shares are 1 and 1 respectively.
Any advice gratefully received - we also have a small budget set aside for an expert to provide a ranking strategy if anyone's interested.

Hi Tony,
I had a very quick look at your site. Content ideas etc. from below are good.
One of the easiest ways to increase this aspect is to make it easy to Tweet / Share. Can you bring AddThis or similar Share services into the design of the site? If people can see these on the site it is easy for them to share. I increased Shares of a TV Advert by 10 times by including this feature (video been on the site for 2 years, one year of which with AddThis).

Totally agree with EGOL. Here's my 2 cents to that: Simply ASK your customers, what they want you to write about
Start a mini-survey and let your customers openly discuss your content. Ask them if there's something particular that they don't like about your content. Also ask them on how often you should write something. Sometimes you'd be amazed to hear that your customers either want more or less from you.If users get what they want when they want it, they are more probable to retweet it Even though that may not sound very new to you, it is most often neglected when creating content.

Some tips to increase B2B tweets.

Make a blog on the domain, create good content which suppliers and friends will want to share.

Contact suppliers about your content see if they will tweet things on their accounts.

Make a document for B2B suppliers to download, to download the content they must tweet first.

Make corporate video and link it via FB shares.

If you want tweeted then place something on your site that is highly tweetable.
If you want shared them do something that people will want to tell their friends.
Funny content, free stuff, a great video, a news article are examples of things that people tweet about. What can you do?

Business Tweets Showing up Organically
Question. I've noticed in the past and more recently that if you search a business (example: Adidas) in Google, you'll see their activity on Twitter being displayed organically. How can you get your business to show? I also did some research and found that some business that have their tweets displaying are not Twitter verified. I though that may have something to do with it...I guess it doesn't. Does anyone know what "triggers" a business to have their tweets show up organically. Is constant contact a good source for seo links? how about best of the web? Is tweet angels a smart move? anybody got a good list of strong DA and PA link companies you can do business with and also get strong follow links from? thanks...
Thanks for all you guys do I am writing because I am trying to build a company's SEO link profile with links that have super high, and super stable Domain and Page Authorities (as well as solid Trust and Citation flows). I do this organically and even build my own sites using moz strategies - BUT, I am in need of your best advice:Â What are some links you can "buy" (as a result of using services from) that are strong and dofollow? Is Constant Contact good? Is Best of the Web good? tweetangels smart? I have seen several businesses with constant contact links (very high domain authority) on their profiles and as the head of business development for a mid-sized marketing firm, I want to see if constant contact, botweb, etc. are smart sources to put my clients on for the sake of the seo profile links - I am looking for strong, long-term perma-bumps for my companies and don't want to miss out on low-hanging fruit (that won't poison me in the end). Can you speak to that please? Do you guys have a list of directory links or 'whatever' links that are "get-able" by a regular guy like me that are not simply 2.0 nofollow? Thank you Ben

Why does someone's FB page rank so highly?
Hi Everyone, i recently ran a non-personalized search and saw that this facebook page https://www.facebook.com/tampapersonalinjurylawyers ranked very highly for both "personal injury attorney" and "tampa personal injury attorney." The page has very few likes, and they don't even post that often. From my limited  knowledge, that leaves me guessing it's because its a quasi-exact match facebook page, but that can't be right...can it? (Ranking screenshot is attached) Thanks, Ruben GO4N11x

Social shares: A ranking factor or not?
Open Site Explorer lists them and every so-called SEO expert says social signals/shares are a ranking factor. Everyone but Matt Cutts, it would seem. So if they're not a ranking factor, why show them in Open Site Explorer?

Number of Facebook likes and shares for a webpage went significantly down.
I noticed that a bunch of "likes" and "shares" had gone down for a webpage I do marketing for, and I wanted to see if anyone had also experienced this. About two years ago, I realized that when I would send a FB message with a link to a webpage I was promoting, the number of shares and likes for the page would go up by one. So, thinking that I had stumbled onto something incredible, I proceeded to message over 500 people on facebook with a link to the webpage. Soon enough, I had increased the likes and shares displayed on the webpage to 635 (as shown in the Digg Digg plugin). Today, I went back to the same page and realized the number of shares and likes had gone down to 160. Has anyone experienced a drop in the number of shares and likes, and has anyone increased their likes and shares by sending a message with a link to a webpage being marketed? (You can test this out by messaging someone in facebook with a single link to webpage that displays the number of facebook "likes" and "shares" -Once you send the message the number should go up by one) Thanks

How to keep social sharing if we change the URL ?
Hi, We want to change the URL of the blogposts. We want to remove the date, so the URL ... websitename.ca/blog/2012/02/04/name-of-the-article/  would become websitename.ca/blog/name-of-the-article/ For SEO link juice it's OK because we will implement 301 redirect on all URL. But we have many Like, Google + and Tweet on our articles. Is there a way we can maintain our social share (Facebook, Twitter and G+) for each URL if we change them ? We are using Wordpress and we have around 1 500 blogpost. Thanks for your time

Cant post/share to Facebook page anymore...please help
Hi Guys I manage a few facebook pages and a day ago something weird happened to one and i cannot figure it out. It started with me trying to auto share a youtube video to the facebook page and offcourse added the "comment" and shared. The video is then visible when i log in to the page but not when i am not...and it also does not share to the followers....and then the same happened with a normal link and image post....I see it when logged in but it does not get sent to my followers or to the page if not logged in....am i missing something here. Should i just log in and then click on share and see if that send it out?? please help...facebook drives me crazy half the time..thanks in advance
