Welcome to SEOmoz Dinesh!
There are plenty of ways to build backlinks to your blog, depending on your niche and interests. If you're comfortable with social media, sites like LinkedIn can put you in touch with other professionals in your industry. Although you're going to be doing a ton of guest posting, always be on the lookout for other opportunities. Since you're a beginner, I'll include some fairly easy techniques that can get you started!
Submit to local directories: Don't abuse this and stay away from large generic directories. DMOZ should be a no-brainer (do it) and here's a link to a ton of good quality directories and other sites that accept some form of submission -- http://www.peterattia.com/a-list-of-link-building-lists/
Create some great content: Take the time to create some fantastic content. I try to focus on one piece of content each week that targets an interesting topic and is exceptionally well-written (Take a look at the posts on the SEO Blogs here for an idea of the quality we're talking about). Not only will you need this content for guest posts, but great content tends to get noticed. If you have the skills or budget to create something sharable like an infographic, you can simply use social media outlets to get people excited about your new content, publish it on their sites, and link back to you.
Guest Post: Find people in niches related to yours (the easiest way would be to do a Google search for something like:
Internet marketing + "submit guest post"
Replace "Internet marketing" with a topic of your choice. If you create good content for guest posts, bloggers will be much happier to accept future posts and build a relationship. Don't forget to respond to readers' comments -- this really makes a difference.
Syndicate Your Blog Content to Twitter and Facebook: I use a free tool called Twitterfeed to automatically post all my blogs to Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. It helps you populate your social media feeds effortlessly. Eventually, people notice your content and hopefully start to get interested. You don't get much link value directly from social media sites, but you do have the opportunity to get organic links and readership.
Get Involved: You're doing the right thing right now Dinesh. Get active on online communities and forums. Comment on other posts (sometimes with a no-follow link, sometimes with a do-follow) but make sure your comments actually contribute to or further a discussion already taking place. Don't worry about anchor text here, your site name or personal name is just fine.
As you get better at link building, you won't be able to help finding opportunities wherever you look. No shortage of great advice on the Q & A forum here and in the blogs. Here are some articles past members have written that should give you a solid start:

Mike
P.S. One very important thing to add. Don't make the mistake of chasing poor metrics like PageRank when valuing a link opportunity on a blog. Check recent posts to see how much interaction there is with the blog community. If you see tons of legitimate comments, that's a great sign.
You're really aiming for traffic, not necessarily rankings. Choose links that will give you traffic and loyal readers, not just links that look good on paper alone.

This page is a very good place to start - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/21-tactics-to-increase-blog-traffic-2012. Even though it does focus on blogging, just make sure to not create great content, but making it accessible for users to find and share. Finally get yourself out there by engaging with others with the community and bringing your unique thoughts to SEO. In the end your dedication will pay off as you learn from your mistakes and improve your skills.

Backlink Transparency with SEO Agency
Hello everyone. I recently started working with an SEO agency and today they gave me an updated keyword report which showed some increase in rankings. I was not aware that any backlinks had been created yet so I asked for a report of the links. Their response is below and I am just wondering if this is normal practice being I have not worked with any type of SEO agency yet. "

Hey Daniel, We release a small report on them which the guest blog team will do soon. We don't reveal all backlink sources unfortunately because people have tried to bother the webmasters we have and basically steal our techniques. But rest assured you will be ranking at the top of the pack with our methods 😃

Sudden spike in backlinks - should we disavow?
A kitchen remodelling firm in Australia has noticed a big increase in spammy backlinks to their website since April this year. Majestic shows that referring domains and backlinks during that period have gone up from 400 domains (10,000 links) to 1,070 domains (47,000+ links). About 100 are sitewide links. The vast majority are "follow" links directed at image files on the site - ending in .jpg. Ahrefs now shows the number one anchor text (23%) is a period (full stop) "." Most of the links come from .us domains, eg: cowboysr.us

alldpic.com Google Search Console isn't showing any of these links, there's no penalty on the site and there's been no noticeable change in rankings (if anything organic clicks went up over May, June, July) ... so we're wondering what action - if any - should be taken. Are these links likely to have a negative impact on the site and homepage? Should we disavow these links? Appreciate any advice. Thanks.0 -

Backlinks from Open Site Explorer not updated
Hi folks! I was checking the backlink profile for my website - wishpicker.com - we got linked to by a large number of prominent websites in the last couple of months. For some reason, this does not seem to show up when I do a backlink search on OSE. Is there something that I need to do here/ fix? Thanks in advance!

How long it takes to see backlink ?
We are promoting a law related website and I have posted a blog as a guest on a Law related blog which has PR 3 and Alexa Ranking 171.. It's been 3 weeks but when i run a backlink report from OpenExplorer or other tools that i use, i cannot see the link coming through at all. There is no no follow attached. I'd like to continue to post more articles on the same website but i need to make sure i am getting good links from it otherwise i will go somewhere else. However, i need to understand why do i not get links from that blog as it is very reputable and good blog. I appreciate if you can advise please? Thanks!

Does posting on blogs with anchored backlinks do you any good?
My current strategy: I am ranking for keyword and site: Immigration Consultant I access the Fresh Web Explorer and search my keyword, then find the blogposts with High Authority where I can post using HTML and include my link in my signature, or sometimes the post has a link associated with the username. Now my question is this, does this count? will google even crawl the comments? can I aid the crawling process somehow? Any advice on creating relavent back-links is much appreciated. Thank you

Youtube Backlink
We've had our Youtube Channel fairly optimized for several months now. Part of that effort includes the link back to our site which is allowed on Youtube. When doing link research I see Youtube links being given credit to competitors but haven't seen Youtube show up in backlinks reports for our site yet. Is there any way to speed this up? Our Youtube page with the link has been indexed and a cached version of the page is in Google's SERPs. If there are any tricks to getting this going that anyone is aware of I'd like to hear it. *The link on Youtube returns a 200 and is followable. I'm using the SEOMOZ tool and Open Site Explorer to do backlinking research.
