Where are google analytics stats for iphone4
-
hi
We were looking at the Google Analytics for one of our sites and noticed that there were NO pageviews from device=iphone and resolution=640x960 in the report.
Given that iphone4 is supposed to be 640x960, and would be the most popular device (at least in our offices and everyone I know), it seems wierd.
I sorted the Mobile Devices report by device and resolution to see what was available. The first 160 results were all device=not set.
Finally got to device=iPhone and there were three entries:
resolution 0x0 had 11 views
resolution 320x396 had 45 views
resolution 320x480 had 3,944 views.
Hopefully all iphone4 users havent been classified as not set.
Or is it possible that iphone4s claim to be 320x480 in browsers, as per http://www.alistapart.com/articles/a-pixel-identity-crisis/
Even worse, if I look at the Samsung Galaxy S II (myown phone), there are over 30 screen resolution combinations.
Does anyone have anything to shed on this? I asked about it on the google analytics twitter account last week but havent had a response.
Are there other analytics solutions that would distinguish between the iphones?
Warning - this is a link to a large image, with the not set stats at the top.

The iPhone4 is indeed 320X480 and the iPad is 768x1024. As to why many of the results are saying "not set" could have something to do with your cookie sessions on mobile devices expiring. You can read the documentation on Cookies Set By Google Analytics here.

I have an iPhone 4S. Just surfed to a site I own that's not launched and has zero other traffic and checked my analytics. 320x480 is what's showing up. For what it's worth, my browser version shows as 7534.48.3 for Safari, and OS shows as iPhone.

Drop in Bounce Rate in Google Analytics
Hi guys, I have recently seen a large drop in bounce rate (from GA) which seems unnatural for one of our clients website. Since the start of 2018, the bounce rate was consistently between 40-60%, and then saw a random spike, and now for the past two weeks, the bounce rate is below 10%. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas if this is a problem with GA, or the site itself. Site: https://www.zoomocarcredit.com/ Any comments/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Jack. Google Analytics - Not provided info
Morning all, i am using Google analytics for some time now, One of the issues that i don't have a clear answer for is, when i am looking at Traffic Source --> overview In the Keyword column, that is a line (not provided) What we think here is that we cant see the keywords if someone arrived to our website but was logged-in to Google account Is this correct? is there a way to find the keywords behind this (not provided)? - i have many visits for this line (17.3% of all visits) and i don't know which keywords people used. Thank you SeoWise

Totally Remove "localhost" entries from Google Analytics
Hello All, In Google Analytics I see a bunch of traffic coming from "localhost:4444 / referral". I had tried once before to create a filter to exclude this traffic source, but obviously I did it wrong since it's still showing up. Here is the filter I have currently: Filter Name: Exclude localhost

Advanced segements Google Analytics
Hi guys, I was to hasty last time marking the given question as answered. So i would like to ask another question on the subject. My original question was how to get a pdf report of 10 specific keywords with information about visits, pages per view. avg, visit time, new visitors and bounce rate. The answer was to create an advanced segment with "or operators" and adding all keywords on an exact match basis. I did this but it still gives me a list of more then 500 keywords in traffic sources organic view. Next to that i get different visitor numbers for some keywords where it says 40 at the normal segments (all visits) but gives me 0 when i turn on the advanced segment. I've been clicking and changing things for a long time until i got almost dizzy. Could someone plz help?
