X2 Google Analytics affect page rank ?

Hi there,
If you had 2 Google Analytics Accounts one to the main site and another to the blog, could this affect the page position in Google?
We've suddenly noticed a drop in our KWs and it was shortly after we added another Google Analytics Account.
The blog has 68% Bounce rate and the main site has always been about 48%.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I really can't think of any reason why that would affect your rankings. GA is completely autonomous from search results and if this were really true, people would avoid GA like the plague (which wouldn't be good for Google).
Without more details the rest is speculation but
- Do you have any duplicate content between the blog and main site?
- What does your link structure look like for both sites? Anything subject to devaluation or a penalty?
- How is your blog structured? Is it blog.domain.com or domain.com/blog?

Does Google need Analytics installed to create metrics?
Hi Mozers, Does Google know time on site, number of page visits, bounce rate, etc. even if Google Analytics is NOT installed? Does it measure all that stuff anyway, and if you install the GA code on your site, that is so that YOU can see those metrics? OR can Google only see those metrics if you install GA on your site? Hi Guys, I want to track email opt-ins for multiple thank you pages. The setup is as follows: http://image.prntscr.com/image/57632e05a15f42fda0b8ffec2d176460.png I have not yet built the thank you pages, so i was wondering what the URL should be to make it easy to track them in GA? Referral issue in Google analytics
We have an eCommerce website that counts paypal as a referral source in Analytics. The site takes people to Paypal to make a payment and then back to the website to a Thank You page once that payment has been made. Due to this, Analytics sees this as a conversion that has come from Paypal, and also records it as a referral source, when we know this is not really the case. This also distorts the data in analytics and prohibits us from clearly seeing which channels sales have come from. Is there anyway in Analytics to include Paypal as a part of the website so that it does not record Paypal as a separate referral website?

Stop getting info from Google analytics on purchases in our site
Hi guys, We have eCommerce.

We connected the site to the Google analytic eCommerce.
Everything was work fine until 3 weeks ago. Suddenly we stooped getting purchases information in the analytic although i see purchases in the website. We didn't change anything in the website and i really don't know how to solve this problem.

Hello All, How long analytics keep the data for one website? at least two years at least 25 months other I guess that they guarantee at least 25 months, but it might be more.

Google Analytics subdomain ecommerce tracking flatlines :-(
Buongiorno from 19 degrees C wetherby UK 🙂 This website http://www.philpotts.co.uk/ contains a shop sub domian @ http://shop.philpotts.co.uk/. I configured the site Ga analytics code to include the subdomain (see below code). I had to do this as i was getting refferal data from the actuall subdomain. But after following the instructions on p117 of cutroni's ga book things have gone wrong, mainly now eCommerce data has dissapeared 😞 So my question is please: "Why has installing the GA code above caused eCommerce tracking to suddenly go dead?" Tracking Referring Sources - Google Analytics - Ecommerce
I need some help from anyone that has deal with this issue before.. We are currently running BigCommerce for the shopping cart on chinamist.com. We have enabled e-commerce tracking through Google Analytics and the revenue tracks perfectly. The only issue is that the referring sources are not tracking directly to the revenue being displayed - for the source, all analytics shows is (none). The assumption is that the tracking issue is a result of having a domain and subdomain.. but 'domain and subdomain' was selected when setting up the sites' advanced analytics script. Does anyone have any tips? We've run into a dead end here.. One final note, we're running an Adwords campaign which is showing conversions through the Adwords side of reporting. After integrating the Adwords and Analytics accounts, the analaytics account is still not showing revenue/conversions from Adwords as a source. Appreciate the feedback.
