Limit of 3 competitors per campaign
-
Hello,
Can I just check why the number of competitors per campaign is limited to 3?
ie. We have up to 20 URLs we want to monitor for the same keywords as us.
I understand I can add another campaign to track another 4x URLs, but this will not show those in relation to our main URL/campaign.
We would prefer to have space for 12 competitors rather than 12 campaigns.
If we upgrade to Elite is the number increased?
Might be missing something here, as we are new to SEOMoz, so grateful for any advice. SEOMoz is really great, we have learned so much already.

Thanks JaeRae, I have done as you suggested.

Hi Rich!
You are correct, each campaign can track 3 competitors. Although, I think this is a great feature request. If you have a moment, visit the PRO feature request forum to like this idea
Cheers,
Jackie

My Moz domain authority fell last week but so did all 3 of my competitors. What could cause that?
As a loyal Moz Pro subscriber I track my site's authority, trust and links against 3 similar competitors. Last week my authority fell from 61 to 60 but all 3 competitors saw a drop in their authority that week too. Was the Moz domain authority calculation changed? Did anyone else see a drop or has something odd happened to just our market? Any ideas? Not sure if this is something I should address or just shrug and ignore. Cheers

Should I worry about limiting link count on product listing/category pages?
I've noticed that my link count is high (165ish for some) on my category listing pages. I've been scouring my page to see if there's any way that I can reduce the link count without restricting functionality to the end user. Each product listing on the category page has 5 links currently: A link to the product in the title A link to the product from the image An 'add to compare' link An 'add to cart' link An 'add to wishlist' link When the customer chooses to show 30 products per page, the link tally goes off the scale. So I have two questions: Firstly - is it appropriate to keep link count down in this scenario? To elaborate - is it just inevitable that product listing pages will have lots of links, and should I just assume that Google knows this and forget about these warnings. Secondly - There are two links to the same page (the title and image links to the product page). Does SEOmoz include this in the link count, and more importantly, will Google take heed of these when deciding whether the page is too link-heavy?

Is anyone noticing a difference between Google position when you view ten and when you view a hundred results per page?
We have noticed a gap as large as 30 places when using UK Google. Interested in whether other people are seeing this and if anyone can offer an explaination. Thanks Turkey
