How to improve my conversions
-
Hey all,
As always thanks in advance to any help given.
So I think we haven't done a bad job, but I know there is always more that can be done with conversions.
We have a website which provides guestlist to clubs in London, we are competitive on our keywords and ppc and get the clicks through with very very relevant adverts and meta descriptions....
The questions is 'How do I improve our conversion rate on page?'
The said pages are setup like the examples below:
www.capitalalist.com/movida-guestlist/
www.capitalalist.com/chinawhite-guestlist/
www.capitalalist.com/mahiki-guestlist/
The conversion comes when the click 'join guestlist' and fill out the form.
Any help with be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks Andy!
I will look to implement those changes!
Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I was more speaking of the sidebar advert.
on the page where your placing the call to action... make sure to explain why someone would want to join the guestlist, then ask them to join it.
I noticed that a lot of the information was listed below the form.
I would maybe just add some quick bullet points above the form
-
Gain access to exclusive clubs!
-
Party in the same venues as celebrities!
ect....
Just some idea's from a guy who hasn't been to a club in years... so take it for what it's worth

Thanks for responding Andy.
The benefit of joing the list is that they subscribe to the guestlist of the club they choose for their chosen date. WIth instant response via text and email, with a follow up call within the hour.
Plus it does also give them access to our weekly newsletter which covers celebrity gossip emailed to them weekly.
Are you describing the 'Join Guestlist' buttons in Pink? If so are you suggesting I make these larger?
Yes I agree listing the benefits of joining the guestlist should be listed on the advert where the girls face is.

What is the benefit of joining the list?
For me... I don't think the JOIN LIST stands out enough on the page. I would maybe list out some benefits and make the option stand out a little more.
I think the sidebar "join list" is really missing on some opportunity. Instead of it being a picture of a random girls face, maybe list out the benefits and make it pop from the page a little.

How does Shopify attribute conversions?
I'm trying to resolve a number of conversion discrepancies found in Google Analytics. I discovered that Shopify also provides its own 'conversion details'. In some cases they correlate, which is awesome! But in many cases they do not. Anyone know why this is? And which is more reliable (remembering that Shopify is an actual, real order)? Does anybody know how Shopify attributes conversions (ie. last click, first click, or some hybrid of the two)?

Good Morning, We recently revamped and relaunched our ecommerce website and we believe we have built a great site that is easy to navigate, find what you're looking for, get all details, and purchase. We were hoping to get some of the Moz community to take a look at the site and let us know if you have any suggestions on usability or conversion techniques that we could implement to improve user experience and amount of orders placed. B2B average conversion rates?
Hi guys, I've been struggling trying to find average conversion rates for qualified traffic (e.g. PPC) for lead generation/phone calls in the B2B services(non- SaaS) environment. I know that it varies depending on the industry, but having at least an idea would help us a lot. Any information you can provide would be very valuable. Thanks a lot.

Sudden drop in conversions!
Over the past week, I have noticed a drop in conversions. By drop, I mean NONE at all. The traffic to the site seems steady from different sources, so I don't think we've been hit with a penalty. I have looked through the site, and there are no problems with the functionality. Is it possible that you lose conversions because of the type of keywords that are driving traffic? In other words, the impressions and queries remain steady, but you are not getting traffic that converts (if that makes any sense). Thanks in advance for thoughts and advice.

Low conversion rate, high ticket item... but not THAT high
Oh great mozzers, I fall at your feet... I feel like I'm going insane... My client, 35 Degrees (http://35DegreesSteaks.com) is quite the mystery. I handle SEO and paid search for them, and we're doing great in those areas... however, we're just not seeing the conversions once I deliver these folks to the site. The people are targeted, the keywords are sound, and from what I can see, the checkout process isn't a mess... but they are just not getting the sales. We're currently starting to test some price points with some newer, lower cost "intro packages", so we'll see if that's one of the pain points. I'm also in the process of convincing them to include a Verisign or some other logo in the checkout process. However, I was hoping the great minds here could take a quick look and see if I'm missing anything else. Thanks in advance! Jeff

Weeding out irrelevant analytical data to see truer conversion rates
Here is the scenario. We have many brick and mortar store locations as well as an ecommerce website. It's hard to get exact, but my estimates seem to be that approximately 1/3 of the visitors to our website are interested only in obtaining information about the brick and mortar store locations and not interested in ecommerce transactions. Of course this kills the conversion rate. We use google analytics and I'd like to somehow be able to quantify with more accuracy what the "real" conversion rate might be. Is there some method to weed out specific pages/traffic (like brick and mortar landing pages) from being taken into account when conv. rate is calculated? The number that matters for conv. rate of course is "visits" and not unique pageviews, so I'm not sure that really would do anything helpful. Any tips?

I have followed several guides found on this site (especially the unbounce.com ones) but what'ever I try my landing page CRO doesn't seem to increase. the landing page in question is http://www.drivingtestnow.co.uk/find-driving-test-cancellations. I'm getting traffic to my landing page solely through PPC traffic from Google. My stats are rough as follows: Arrive at landing page - 100% (obviously)

Click through to buy now page - 15-20%
Actually complete the buy now process - 1% Conversion from organic traffic landing directly on the homepage at http://www.drivingtestnow.co.uk is having a conversion rate of about 5%. It seems odd to me that my highly targeted ad campaign and landing page are convertign so badly compared to the less atrgeted organic search traffic and homepage. Have you got any ideas why this might be occurring and also any tips on how I can improve the conversion rate for my product? Gary...0
