Too Many Links???
-
SEOMOZ is telling me I have more than 100 links on quite a few of my pages, and I cant seem to find out what links they are finding. Like for instance on this page http://standupguys.biz/what-we-haul/commercial-junk-removal-services/computer-removal-recycling/ It is telling me that I have 117 hyper links (which is WAY too high).
Can anyone explain to me where these are coming from, and how I can avoid this?? Please and thank you.

It looks like it's something to do with your Collapsing Pages Plugin. I see links like Old Freezer Removal in the code which are not visible on the page. I would try disabling that link and see what happens.

Do know where it is finding 105 links though? When you actually manually count the links that are visible its more like 50.

If you go look at the HTML source for this page (view-source:http://standupguys.biz/what-we-haul/commercial-junk-removal-services/computer-removal-recycling/) in Chrome and then do a Ctrl+F for "<a 105="" href"="" you'll="" notice="" it="" shows="" a="" count="" of="" links="" and="" highlights="" them.="" if="" they="" are="" part="" your="" navigation="" structure,="" i="" would="" not="" worry="" about="" it. <="" p=""></a>
<a 105="" href"="" you'll="" notice="" it="" shows="" a="" count="" of="" links="" and="" highlights="" them.="" if="" they="" are="" part="" your="" navigation="" structure,="" i="" would="" not="" worry="" about="" it. <="" p="">However, primarily for Usability, I would consider looking into and see if there are any links that are not being used, not adding value etc.</a>

Links from my Own Blog to my Own Website and Link Scheme
Hi There, I use my own blog to give advices and offer information related to my business service. Of course in terms of SEO my blog is useful not only to expand my brand presence but also to acquire long-tail traffic. I use to insert a maximum of one link with a relative matching anchor text in every article of my blog pointing to my own webpage. Said that, the questions are as follows: Am I involuntarily participating in a Link Scheme with my blog? And If so, how many links can I send to my own webpage ? Shall I limit the number of links to a minimum? Thanks a lot for your advices.

Changing links
Hi guys i wanted you views on changing the anchor text of links. I have quality links coming in but with year terms such as 2012 in there, if i want to change them all to 2013 for example would it be badly seen by Google? I cant say i feel comfortable about doing it but they are my links and are related to our products. Any advice much appreciated.

Looking at Page Authority of a link to our website... what Page Authority number should we use in deciding the link is junk?
What are the Page Authority ranges? 1. Excellent link 2. Moderate 3. Total junk link Of course you look at the anchor text you can use, how many links are on the site, how often it is cached. Thoughts?

So I ran into a site that was not ranking 4 days ago and has over 2 million links to it on some keywords. My guess is this is a link bomb, but the issue is this is pushing one of my sites down. Does anyone know a good way to over come a bomb like this?
So I ran http://www.riogrande.com/ into this site not that long ago and wanted to see if any other SEO's have an opinion on it. I've seen a Google bomb before, but the amount of links going into this URL is insane. The thing is how does one over come a Google Bomb? Do you just wait to see what Google does or do you just hope to rank under that URL? I should also note that it appears that all the keywords to it are relevant to the sites content. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

RSS links vs. contextual links
Which has more value? Passes more "link juice"? Auto generated rss links or contextual links?

Value of Inbound Links to Pages With a lot of Outbound Links
Suppose you have a resource page of the Top 50 Awesome Sites in your niche. Since there are about 50 outbound links, then I would think there will be less Page Rank being passed to internal pages from internal links on the resource page. Since you are getting less PR passed to internal pages, are there other ways the inbound links can be beneficial, such as increasing the diversity of links of your domain? Sites like SEO Optimise seem to create a lot of Top 30 Resources lists and I have read that they think it is a strong tactic.

Link Churn - where have all my links gone?
I am sure most of you have asked yourself the question I'm asking right now.. Where have all my links gone? I am starting to get twitchy now. I would estimate we have lost around 60% of our links in the past 3 weeks. Does anyone have any comeback stories? Feel like I am back to the start again. I have made a number of changes on the site not least removing a reciprical link page.. that had over 200 links on it but from reading one of Rand's tweets is it true that linking out could be good again?
