Inbound Writer for WordPress Feedback

Does anyone have feedback regarding Inbound Writer? http://www.inboundwriter.com/wordpress
I normally do not use such tools but a new client is presently using the tool so I would like to hear from the community if they have any experiences to share.
Thanks!

Daniel, I should have been more clear. I would not work with a client who produces automatically created content. The goal is to use the software to generate ideas related to the content and to learn about additional references and areas where the topics are being discussed.

Rest assured that there is no dark arts being practiced here. InboundWriter is simply a product designed to put key insights and well established best practices into the hands of writers and online marketers so they can be well informed during their content creation process. Our software does not modify content automatically or spin it in any way.
The first type of information we think is valuable is the results of our topic research engine (topic modelling) which looks at how other people are talking about your areas of interest and extracts keywords which may be helpful to create more engaging content. Secondly we try to keep you informed of what is being shared on social networks (Twitter at the moment) regarding your topics of interest. Lastly we have a pretty sophisticated strategy and coaching engine that lets you tell us what the goal for your content is so that InboundWriter can give you tips and advise on how to best meet your goals.
We believe that striking a balance between creativity and optimization is best done by people who create the content and having good technology and key information at the right time can make that happen.
As for whether humble pie should be served I invite you try it yourself (it's a freemium product after all) or take a look at http://www.inboundwriter.com/impact at some of our results.

No experience with this....so please consider this a gut instinct howl of passion from the depths of my soul:
NO! NO! NO!
A THOUSAND TIMES "NO!"
AND ONCE AGAIN: "NO!"
This seems to fall under the general heading of something I warn potential clients of in the first five minutes of an initial call:
Magic software.
It's the latter day equivalent of spinning straw into gold.
Writing is hard. Engaging with audiences is hard. I speak as a writer and former news executive.
The idea that a Wordpress plug in can make all this easy strikes me as....
(wait for it)....
...extremely unlikely.
If someone has experience with this tool an has had outstanding success, I'll eat my Elements of Style baked into humble pie.
But I don't think that's likely.

U.S. Vs. Canada search volume
How does Moz differentiate Canadian data vs. U.S. data? I'm particularly interested in search volume. Why is there such a big difference in volume (much less in Canada)? Is this due to population differences or are there other factors? For example, see the monthly volume for the keyword "Business resilience": U.S. = 360

Canada = 6 This seems like a huge difference!0 -
Relevant but not-relevant keywords impact to SEO
Hello, I would like to know if the selection of individual keywords(that are not primary, secondary or tertiary) are important for SEO regardless of the relevancy to the page topic. I am wondering how much of a contribution a non-P1/P2/P3 can make in terms of SEO? For example it is a product page and I have built my content with P1,P2&P3 based only on the product and its properties itself. Do you think that a content gap for the page could be the production process of that product? So even if it is a product and its properties page, I can add 2 sentences about the production, so that I can drive more traffic by including these 2 informative sentences.? EXAMPLE:

So lets' say my topic is "hair types" (P1) and my subtopics are "Straight," "wavy," and "curly"(P2s) which I used as subtitles. But throughout the page, I am planning to add some relevant but not-directly-relevant keywords here and there since they have high metrics and volumes. For example a potential sentence I can add: "innovative hair products these days can offer amazing results for the desired hair types". It is not specifically about "hair types" but I am using the keyword "innovative hair products" (good metrics keyword) which may help for the traffic... Another potential not-so-direct sentence can be: "For all hair types, the hair damages are common: heat damage, chemical damage and mechanical damage". Would adding this extra sentence where I am not specifically talking about "hair types" (my topic) but "hair damages" and damage examples (off-topic high metric keywords) help me to drive traffic to my website? And how much of an impact would it be?0 -
Potential traffic
Hi! I am curious what is the Moz equivalent of "potential traffic" metric in Ahrefs? Is there any keyword metric I can check in Moz to receive data on potential traffic rather than only volume? Thanks in advance!

Improving SEO for an e-commerce page with 1 product page
I'm trying to improve the SEO for an e-commerce store that I'm working for that sells custom car air fresheners where you select the shape of the item and then upload the photo. The site has been around for almost 10 years so has authority in the field and ranks number one for custom car air fresheners and other related high-traffic keywords. However, there is no blog, no social media and has 8 total pages: landing page, FAQ, contact, guidelines, shape/product (page that starts the ordering process with little text), scents, terms, and samples.

I'm struggling with how we rank higher for specific keywords that we are not number 1 with ok traffic (such as dog air freshener, custom air freshener for car with picture, custom photo car air freshener) and not affect the current keywords that we are ranking number one for. In addition, how do we rank higher for other keywords, if we don't have that many pages like a blog to create content? I was thinking of creating a blog to target more keywords, but I don't think there is enough relevant content to make. And I feel Google would find a blog about "top gifts for dad" or "top gifts for the holidays" not relevant. I was also thinking of adding more text to the shapes/product page which could be tailored towards a keyword. Maybe I could create another product page that goes into more detail about the air freshener with images, descriptions, and other use cases. On MOZ, the Domain Authority is 18 (really low), so I am thinking about working on getting backlinks from relevant sources with authority to improve our SEO. Or do we not mess with the text on the website since it works and not worry about the other keywords and focus on technical SEO items and backlinks to help with SEO? TLDR: How do you improve SEO for new keywords for an e-commerce business that doesn't have a lot of pages for content without affecting its number 1 ranking on other keywords?0 -

Wordpress SEO: Category page + Product page or only category page?
Trying to improving my website's ranks on google for a specific keyword (e.g. Samsung S6), I'm thinking about doing some experiments. I've a wordpress based blog. Now, I've the category "Samsung S6" (url: example.com/samsung-s6), with only the latest 6 news (with excerpts) + pagination. This ranks good, but it's a bit ugly as a landing page and I want a better rank. I could improve this page by customizing the template and adding some static text, but it could be a time-consuming solution considering that I'm using a third party theme and I should check this every update. Also, it's harder to customize this page then the next solution: I'm thinking about creating a new page Samsung S6 (url: example.com/samsungs6). This page will contain a product overlay (e.g. RAM, HD, screen size etc.), + product description with features and a small review of it's elements (e.g. camera description with results, suggested applications etc.) + some images/youtube videos + latest 6 news (without excerpts) + some links to other relevant pages in my website for that product, including a link to the category page. What will happen in terms of SEO? Any idea if the new page could rank better than the category page, considering that it has more static elements? Not sure if google could detects duplicates, or two page comepting for the same keyword on the same website is a bad thing. Which are your ideas? Is it ok to have two pages competing for the same keyword on the same website?

Hunting for organic keywords: WordPress vs CodeIgniter
I want organic keywords. I'm going to create a blog. What is better: to use WordPress on subdomain or to write blog myself using CodeIgniter (considering that my website is already on CodeIgniter)
