Link Detox

Hey guys, I'm currently working on cleaning up our link profile and have been looking at several tools. Has any one used this from http://www.linkresearchtools.com do you think its worth investing in?

Agreed. I have just run the tool and its identified a bunch of links we should consider removing.. I am impressed as it has saved allot of analytic work identifying these dodgy links.

Hi Greg
Yeah it does seem very impressive.
I run a report last night and it was waiting on me this morning.
It categorizes all the links, shows you which ones are a priority etc
It also tells you what links are coming from sites which have been deindexed.
You can then email the webmasters from within the tool itself which is good.
I know there is lots of tools that you can use to get info about your link profile.
I use OSE, Majestic, GWT,Ahrefs but this seems to do all the hard work for you with its in depth analysis of the links.

Hi Mathew.
Cemper.com Tools are amazing (link Research Tools)... The most advanced Link building tool out there in my opinion...
Chris Cemper has been working on the link detox for a while now, and has explained how to manually find the suspcious links without using the detox tool, but the tool just makes it easier for us.
I have not tried it yet (was only released yesterday) but his advice on identifying link networks and other dodgy links is invaluable.
For the price of a tweet, its well worth giving it a try..

Hi,
If you are purchasing this tool for finding profile links then it is bad idea because every tool give same results there are minor changes in every tool. The best practice to finding links is using webmaster tool of your site because it is best for finding your profile links and it is free. I never use this site. I am using opensiteexplorer and ahrefs.com for finding my profile links.

How to find all crawlable links on a particular page?
Hi! This might sound like a newbie question, but I'm trying to find all crawlable links (that google bot sees), on a particular page of my website. I'm trying to use screaming frog, but that gives me all the links on that particular page, AND all subsequent pages in the given sub-directory. What I want is ONLY the crawlable links pointing away from a particular page. What is the best way to go about this? Thanks in advance.

Competitors Dodgy Link Profile - How to handle?
Hi All, One of my competitors doesn't seem to mind collecting links with no relevance and over optimisation of anchor text also leaves me scratching my head as to ho wit's possible for them to still get the rankings they do. My question is how do I handle them from a competitive point of view? Do I pay for a batch of poor links to topple this competitor? Or do I bide my time? Thanks

301 from a Link Directory
Hey guys. I am more looking for advice to confirm something on this one if anyone could offer help? My client has a reciprocal only link directory that is actually ranking higher than their company website. Surely from an SEO point of view, in this instance, it would make sense to kill the link directory and put a re-direct on the whole thing over to their main site? Would appreciate any advice on this one 🙂
