Any recommendations on how to keep track of time that clients can see
-
I know there are programs you can log into to keep track of how much time you are spending on a clients site

Does anybody have one they like and feel works well for SEO?

Opinions on working this way?
I like the idea for my benefit as much as theirs. I find myself struggling to make sure I work ENOUGH for some clients and not WAY to much for others. Plus I want to make sure I am staying focused on THEIR site and not wandering down a rabbit trail doing research and learning about something new on the clients dime.
I REALLY like the idea of my clients being able to log into their account and seeing the status / progress on their account from MY website. I think I have only seen this 1-2 times so i'm sure it isn't easy. Thoughts?
Have an AWESOME week everybody!

I asked a similar question a while ago: http://www.seomoz.org/q/project-management-program-for-seo
There are a number of products discussed there. However, the consensus seemed to be that while there are a number of options available, no one product seemed to nail it for SEO specifically.

Should this site be using Rel=Canonical VS No Index
I'm currently working on this site https://www.visitliverpool.com/accommodation I've been watching this video by Rand - https://moz.com/blog/rel-canonical but it's still unclear in this scenario. if you use the search facility "check availability" half way down the page the results page (urlparams) are no indexed. Would it be better to index and canonicalise? There is no similar content but I'm concerned that no index will remove the ability for semantic content to be visible to google. LADkajY

Can't find the keywords
I have taken over the SEO of our website and cannot find any record of the keywords/phrases associated with each page. Is there anyway to find out what the main keywords for each page are for each page?

Client has two domains for the same business
My client does hardwood flooring AND concrete polishing. He has one domain for hardwood flooring and the other website is for concrete polishing. (separate domain) Building traffic, links, authority for two sites is going to take MUCH longer for two separate domains than if they focused their effort on just ONE domain. **Any suggestions on how best to handle this? ** One of the domains is 8 years old and has 736 links pointing to it (not many of them are very good). The other one is much newer and it has 1,269 links pointing to it. What doesn't help is the first domain specifically spells out "hardwoodflooring' and the other has 'concretepolishing' in it. Keep em separate or forward them to a more universal sounding domain name? www.billybobsflooring.com for example? Thank you for ANY suggestions! 🙂 Have a great Halloween everybody, Matthew

Anyone know where we can find a validator for schema.org?
I was searching Bing and Google for a validator for schema.org but I can not seem to find one. It seems a little odd for them to promote and use the new standard but not give developers a way to ensure the markup is correctly parsed. I am looking for something like the rich snippets tool Google has.
