Since the new timeline roll out it is very difficult to keep people engaged. From my point of view Facebook took the traffic away from businesses so they could turn around and charge them to promote the information. Having tested this over several facebook pages I have found that it is best to use the promote feature (located at the bottom right of any facebook post on your business page). It sucks that Facebook took away the reach but they have replaced it with a fairly inexpensive way of reaching lots of people. I have a Facebook page for freelancing professionals that gets a lot of engagement. The page has 11k fans and most of my posts are actually seen by about 11k people (although it is because some of my fans are sharing the page). Last week I pushed a post on the site and then went and promoted it for a budget of $50. The return for me was that 72k people saw the post, 178 liked, multiple comments, and an additional 200 fans were gained. I promoted to fans and friends of fans. I don't like that back in the spring Facebook took 2/3 of my facebook traffic away from all sites but replacing it with "promote" was a pretty smart move and gives me a way to get my content out in from of a bunch of people. Trying to find a WP application (that does not require a FB application) that synchronizes website blog posts with a company facebook page
I'm not a developer and it's been about 5 years since I helped a client synchronize their wordpress blog posts with their FB page. I remember it being much simpler to do this in the past. However recently I'm noticing that all of the WP auto post applications require a Facebook application to get the synchronization to function properly.

Facebook Like Button or Like Box
Hi, A client has a FB like button on their website but is frustrated that those "likes" are disconnected from their company FB page. It is possible that they could change their website like button, to a like box, which will then mean people are liking their FB page and give them a greater opportunity for on-going engagement through FB. However, from an SEO perspective is it better for them to attract likes & potential sharing of their website content rather than their FB content? Thanks.

Sending a global facebook message
Hi, This is really a social media question, hoping you can help. We have 2 facebook sites that we are going to delete. One is a group and one is a page. Here they are: http://www.facebook.com/pages/NLP-Institute-of-California/101752159860852?ref=ts and http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=90698249783 How do we send a message to all people in both groups all at once letting them know of our new facebook page that we're making? Facebook Comments For Engines
I incorporated Facebook comments on my site and am now working on displaying it for Google to see. I did so successfully using the FB comment display php script (See: http://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/490) on the page below, but it is displaying in the browser as well. What is the best preactice to hide this from the human visitors? Do facebook shares pass share juice the same way links pass link juice?
If i have a page on my domain say PAGE-A and let's say it's located at: http://www.mydomain.com/something/page-a and this page has quite a lot of page authority from many many inbound links. It is my understanding that if i "sculpt" the internal links on PAGE-A to point at only my primary targets, let's call the PAGE-B, PAGE-C, and PAGE-D; then those pages would gain some benefit from this link juice flowing through. Consider a similar situation where i have a page, say PAGE-F located at: http://www.mydomain.com/anotherpage/page-F and page-F gets 150 facebook shares. would the links on page-F pass this benefit on in any way? Or is only the direct target of the facebook share gaining benefit from this facebook sharing? Furthermore, lets consider a scenario where there are 30 or 40 similar pages like PAGE-F all with links out to my primary targets. Would these primary targets gain anything as these 30 or 40 pages gained facebook shares? Repeat above question, replace 'facebook' with 'twitter'. repeat again for 'google+' ?

What would be a good way to drive traffic to a temporary post - job posting / classified ad?
I was wondering what would be the best way to drive traffic to a posting that will only last 30 days. I didn't think linking would be the answer, but wanted to get opinions. I was thinking pinging and social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter)... What would your strategy be?
