Minimum Page Rank to get a link

Is there a minimum Page Rank that we have to be aware of when looking to get a link from a webpage?

Yes Jungles its a very important part & i consider that very much... But if some sites don't have much social media and have other things good then we can get a link from there & that would also be the worthy...

Hmm....Sanket, could you please explain me why point 6 is not mandatory? I would put a lot of weight exactly on that one!

In addition of David & Paul i would like to say is try to get the links from Unique Content. I follow this factors to get any links :
- PR - min PR2
- DA - min 30 DA
- OBL - Less than 10 - 15
- IF sites have more no. of dofollow blogroll links, footer links, link exchange page, etc then i will not consider that.
- Backlink Profile - Is the backlink profile are good or not, because nowadays most of SEO's are purchasing old domain with good PR so we need to check whether backlink profile are relevant or not..
- Social Media Profile (not mandatory)
- Unique C Class IP
- One link from one website.. If the website are highly authoritative then more links from same website is good.

As long as the site is relevant and isn't spammy then I wouldn't worry too much about the PageRank; even if the link does you no good it certainly won't do you any harm.

Not particularly, is the answer. A link is still a link and carries worth.
If it's relevant, then fantastic! The thing you want to avoid is getting all of your links from one place, for example: 250 directory links and 10 websites. This is not natural and Google will be know this too!
I usually only get links from 40 - 50+ Domain Authority sites. I'd recommend the same.

Let me rephrase the question by adding "if the domain is strong and relevant to your site". In my mind that was obvious...sorry.

Page rank is not what you should be looking at but how strong the domain authority , page authority , and how relevant it is to your site. You should also try to get links you expect people to click and go to your site from not just for the link.

Which site is gonna get most of the link juice?
site: a has PA of 25 , DA of 30 and has 1000 external links. site:b has PA of 5 , DA of 30 and has 5 external links i already know that high PA and DA matters but please explains in terms of those external links mentioned above, because i have heard if a page has a lot of ext links, the link juice will be given to all the external sites , ultimately juice will be divided.

Are new pages treated similar to new domains with respect to ranking?
Hello...I'm hoping to get some advice or guidance regarding the following. My website has gone from a 30 page site about loans, to a 500 page site covering a much wider range of products such as mortgages and other more specific loan related pages. All the new pages were made live at the same time, and I've been through GWT tools to add pages with in the Google fetch and most have been indexed fine. My question is, how should I expect Google to treat all of these new pages? The site has changed massively and many of the new pages are at pages 3-4 for their key terms. Will Google treat these new pages in the same way it may a new domain, e.g. it could be potenitally a couple of months before the pages start to rank better? I appreciate that the terms are very competitive. Thanks!

Hello, I am writing because I have a question about link building. My page has got a link from this URL http://fundacionbanesto.com/ (PageRank 6) but I know that it no longer exists. Do you think it is negative for my site? Should I reject it? Thanks in advance.

I am getting links on people's wordpress blogs but are not showing up on the just discovered tool. Is it true that wordpress links are no-follow links that do give off any link-juice?
A blogger told me that "wordpress.com does not allow blogs to show advertisements or use links to sites that sell merchandise of any kind" is this true? Am i wasting my outreach time trying to get links from wordpress operated blogs?

Are Links/Resources pages considered spam?
I'm dabbling with link building in a non link-happy industry, traffic safety (IE Traffic cones, barricades, safety vests, etc...). We currently are doing #RCS in terms of giveaways for college students as well as discounts in a wider EDU Outreach campaign as well as legitimate guest posting. I have started to use Link Prospector, and got a list of links/resources pages that we can get info from. I found some great links through here, including ways to get links from higher-profile .gov domains, but was wondering if it is worth it to go after the high(er) quality links/resources pages. By higher quality, I usually set a floor of a DA 25-30 and have a limited amount of external links per page. These would be for branded keywords (IE the company name/domain) and not exact match anchor text. I'd really like to see how other SEOs feel about this. Just a thought. With the way pagerank works and passing link juice evenly across all your links. Would it make sense to structure your site so that each page passes your all your link juice from lets say your homepage to another page. Then that page would contain all the link juice from the homepage. Then do the same thing with the next pages. For instance Homepage - linkjuice 10 link1 - follow link2 rel=nofollow link3 rel=nofollow link4 rel=nofollow link5 rel=nofollow Link1 - linkjuice 10 link1 rel=nofollow link2 - follow link3 rel=nofollow link4 rel=nofollow link5 rel=nofollow Link2 - linkjuice 10 link1 rel=nofollow link2 rel-nofollow link3 - follow link4 rel=nofollow link5 rel=nofollow Link3 - linkjuice 10 link1 rel=nofollow link2 rel-nofollow link3 rel=nofollow link4 - follow link5 rel=nofollow Link4 - linkjuice 10 link1 rel=nofollow link2 rel-nofollow link3 rel=nofollow link4 rel=nofollow link5 - follow and so on. Theoretically would'nt this help pass a ton if not all of link juice to your main links? Sorry if this is a dumb question, it's late and sometimes my mind goes places 🙂

Domain authority or page authority in ranking
Hi, sorry if this is an obvious one... I am doing some keyword research tool and have a few keywords I wish to ran for. Looking at the DA of the sites on the first page they are averaging 60ish, my site is 33. However, for the keywords I am targeting they seem to have PA of 1, or at best, 5. From what I can make it out appears they are ranking for the keywords because of their strong DA rather than any seo work. If I were to target these keywords and send backlinks to the individual pages and so build up a PA on my pages would this be enough to challenge the competitors or would I still be at a major disadvantage because of my lower DA? Hope that make sense? I know what I mean but hard to explain it Thanks
