I don’t think there is any way you can get this data comfortably with Google Analytics but there is a way i found that that will give you the idea of how people are coming from different search engines. In order to check that you have to go to Locations > Country (United Kingdom for instance)
Then above the country/territory bar you will see a tab that says “secondary dimensions” all you have to do is select traffic sources and then source from it.
Once done you will see which city is getting clicks from which search engine. I know this is lot of pain but atleast you can have an idea....
BUT... with Google Webmaster tool you can easily check which countries are getting more traffic in terms of clicks and impressions plus the keywords they are using...

I'm sorry, I wish I could help with that but I have never seen these stats available on Google analytics

Thanks Rod, yes this could be one of the way to explain, but sometime client wants to know the traffic in specific google location when end users could be expats in China etc.

Hi Boson
If you go to Overview > Demographics > Location and then choose the "Source" as your secondary dimension, you will be able to see which search traffic is from which country. I'm not sure how to tell which search engine they were using but more than likely they will be using their local one.
I hope this helps

Google Analytics Average Position
I'm looking at Google Analytics -> Acquisition -> Search Engine Optimization -> Queries reports. I'm looking at keywords and the average position. What Google reports and what I see in a Google incognito search is different (usually my search is much lower). For example, for one search term, Google reports 5.8 average position and every time I search it is 8. My local result is 4. Anyone know why this is? I'm wondering if Google is averaging the Local results into number?

Installing Google Analytics tracking code on Landing Pages
Hello, I have my landing pages located on a separated subdomain (LP.example.com). I've created a new property in Google Analytics for that subdomain. My question is: where do I have to place the GA tracking code ? in the header ? before I close the tag or before I close the tag ? I have another issue: I've placed the GA Tracking code on some pages in the way below:

Google Analytics subdomain ecommerce tracking flatlines :-(
Buongiorno from 19 degrees C wetherby UK 🙂 This website http://www.philpotts.co.uk/ contains a shop sub domian @ http://shop.philpotts.co.uk/. I configured the site Ga analytics code to include the subdomain (see below code). I had to do this as i was getting refferal data from the actuall subdomain. But after following the instructions on p117 of cutroni's ga book things have gone wrong, mainly now eCommerce data has dissapeared 😞 So my question is please: "Why has installing the GA code above caused eCommerce tracking to suddenly go dead?" Grazie tanto,

Linking Multiple Niche Site In Same Google Analytics Account
Hi, I am providing SEO for Local business. Is it advisable to separate out the Google Analytics into different Google account or is it ok to remain it this way? Some of the client might be in the same niche, and might be competing with the same keywords as well. What I was worried is, Google might see these sites as same owner and only rank for 1 of the site. I was thinking to get the owners to register for their own Google Analytics and share the access to me.

Google Analytics
Hello In Google analytics you can obtain the number of visits as a result of non-paid search. You can also set up custom reports to find the number of organic searches. The numbers are different, so what is the obvious difference between these two metrics that I'm missing. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Neil
