BLOG, Sub-Domain or NEW Domain???

Hi,
I have one online store using 2 differents domain:
http://www.filtrationmontreal.com ( french language)
http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com ( english language)
A language switch at the top right of the store, give you access to a different language when shopping.
I had to do this because, my shopping cart does not offert the possibilty to have a multyi-language store!
Now I want to create a blog. What is my best option:

2 blogs with sub-domain. ex: http://www.BLOG.furnacefilterscanada.com and http://www.BLOG.filtrationmontreal.com

one multil-language blog with a new domain linking to my online stores
I would appreciate your advice on this.
My goal is to increase traffic, rank better and increase sales by providing solid content on a blog.
I will use Word-Press self host. I will buy a premium theme. I purchase themes from theme forest before.
Do you have a favorite theme to suggest?

Is it possible to have your blog as a subdirectory? That is generally considered to be a better strategy than using a subdomain, because subdomains are treated as separate sites in most instances.

Using different sections from all over your site to compile a blog post, bad idea or ok to do?
I have a large site that sells various products, I have been on a kick creating new content relating to the many aspects of upkeep with these products after purchase, I wanted to create a blog post combining all the info for the group of products, but will be reusing some of the FAQs and even tips, since I'm more or less relocating the info. Since this blog post is using many different sources on our site, using a rel=canonical isn't possible. Is there anything I should watch out for, Will rewording / phrasing here and there be enough or should I steer clear of this as a whole?

Renaming web pages vs new web site
I am struggling with renaming a lot of my web pages because I used short form acronyms vs long form keyword page names and now my pages aren't ranking where they should be and used to be. I am weighing a whole new web site or just a massive update with new page names. I also have an old domain that 301's to the new url but the old one outranks the new one. If you search google for cheap tubes the first domain you see is www.cheaptubesinc.com (the 301'd version) when the real url is www.cheaptubes.com. I know I am getting a duplicate content penalty and when moz crawls my site they see 2X the page that I really have. I tried fixing this with canonical tags but it only helped 5 pages according the moz crawls since doing them. Since last July 4th my business has been declining and I know there was an SEO algorithm update last July 4th. I think either method of renaming the web pages with better SEO for instance cheaptubes.com/single-wall-carbon-nanotubes.htm vs cheaptubes.com/swnts.htm as it is currently. In either case, it is still an HTML 2 website done on frontpage and the question I keep asking myself is if I should just scrap the whole site and start over with a more modern format. Should I try to get a new site together with good SEO and publish it quickly vs rename and 301 a bunch of pages? What about the old site? Do I need to track the old page names and 301 them to the new ones? Any help is appreciates Mike

Duplicates from weird domains
My sit is http://www.webdesign.org/, but the other day I found these sites that have duplicates of my original site: <a>http://wordpresswww.webdesign.org/</a><a>http://fdsfsdswww.webdesign.org/</a><a>http://gfdgdfgdfgwordpresswww.webdesign.org/</a><a>http://w54354353w.webdesign.org/</a>http://wojhkhjkhw.webdesign.org/What really freaks me out is that the content on those sites is 100% up to date. Same as on http://www.webdesign.org/. Now here's my question. 1. Since my site http://www.webdesign.org/ is the root domain, I take it that I can somehow disable those sites (subdomains) from my domain 'admin panel' or what not?2. If you can use those subdomains even if you don't own the root domain (http://www.webdesign.org/), it looks that some negative SEO has been done to my site?Which of my assumptions are right? Please help me to figure that out.

I work on a uk decorating website with five of our own bloggers all of which reside on the home page of the website on their own separete blogging urls as sub domains - is this a good idea or would google not like this from an seo point of view?
Should blogs that are part of an overall content site be on separate sites and link in or is it ok to promote them as content on the home page of the site and take users off to their own url to view the site. Is this good practise for seo?

Sub Domain vs New Domain
I have an existing blog separate from my main e-commerce site. (mainsite.com). Is there any advantage at all in moving the blog to a sub domain like blog.mainsite? I know putting it in a sub_folder_ is best. I don't want to do that because of security concerns. Handcrafter

Blog Posts Not Getting Indexed by SERP's
Our blog posts are typically indexed rather quickly, sometimes within 10 minutes or so. Lately it seems like it is taking much longer, and a post from yesterday afternoon isn't appearing in any of the search engines. How to Integrate a Wordpress Blog into my Website
We are looking at integrating a blog into our website. Unfortunately, our content management system is very clunky and not set up to quickly publish blog style content. I'd like to use Wordpress and set up the blog as a subdomain of my company website. Our URL is www.blockandcompany.com so the blog URL would be www.blog.blockandcompany.com. Is it correct to say that if the blog is set up this way, the search engines will see the regular website and the Wordpress hosted blog as one big site? I want to use the blog to write keyword-rich content, but I don't want to divide my SEO "equity" between two separate sites. Any advice?
