Google Places Problem

This may have been answered before but I have 2 questions.
When I placed a business in Google Places, the "generic" ranking fell off the map. I now just have the 1 line Google places reference and that is all I can find. How can I get around that and get my 4 line description to show again?
Do I have to delete my Places account? Before the Google Places account was built, the company was moving up the SERP ranks, now he is on pg 1 for Places but the other SERP positions have disappeared. This is true for all the keywords we are targeting. If there is not a Places reference he shows on Pg 3-5 (given the website is 4 weeks old, I think this is not bad).
For the same client, he that services many of the surrounding communities. How do I get Google to recognize the various towns he services during a search? He places well for his "home" town but not at all for the other towns.

Hi Scott,
Colin is correct as to the SERP behavior you are seeing after claiming your client's Google Place/Google+ Local page. The client's previous organic rank will be subsumed into his new blended local rank. Once upon a time, it was common for dominant businesses to have more than one listing per page for a targeted keyword phrase. In fact, they might have one or two organic spots, a local spot, a video, directory listings for their company and what have you, if they were truly dominant. Around the time of the Venice update, this changed and it became next-to-impossible to find any business with more than one spot in the top 10.
So, this is something that's important for you to understand, working in Local. Either you have an organic listing or a local one, but seldom both.
Exceptions to this: for some searches in categories or geographic regions where Google has very little data they trust, a business will sometimes have more that one spot in the SERPs. For example, let's say your client is the only muffler repair shop serving 10 tiny towns in the country. If he's got a decent website, he might end up with more than one spot on page one, but that's typically the main case in which you'll see this exception these days.
Post-Venice, some Local SEOs did do some experiments with trying to get double page 1 rankings. Frankly, I'm not sure how well these tactics are working in 2013, but you might want to give this a read:

Regarding your other question, it's critical to understand that Google views your client as being relevant to his city of location - not the cities where he serves. It's all about physical address. This has led to the development of the practice of creating city landing pages with the purpose of gaining ORGANIC (not local) rankings for service radius cities for go-to-client business models. Hi Scott - does the url on your places listing point to the same page that dropped out of the organic serps? This is pretty normal, Google just doesn't give an organic and local spot to the same page of a website. But the authority of that page is still helping you earn your places rank.
For phrases that have any competition at all, it's nearly impossible to appear in the local pack with an address that doesn't correspond to the city of search. It's just kind of the way local works.

URL, page title, item name - which is most important for google ranking
We are a bridal store and are able to use different information in the URL, Page title and item name. In item name we give the product a name for us to identify ie. Hello, Google changes the title of the main page only for my sites in this way: What I configured: My page title | my site name How it shows in Google: My site name: My page title If I checked some meta tags analyzer it will show my configured page title and also in Bing.com So what do you thing about it. Google index new data from my website page
Hi All, We have pages which are created few weeks before hand for Movie reviews in those pages we add value with adding the Movie cast and crew info and what ever info possible before the movie releases. The the movie releases we watch the movies and write reviews which is 500+ words. Now the issue is the pages are indexed a week before... How can i have these review pages scanned immediately when i have the complete review as the review content is not indexed for 3 to 5 days and the first day or 2 is when its important for the reviews to be seen in Google. I am trying to find the original source of this information. Has anyone know the source of this stat?

Major update to site architecture (outline)-Is Google going to drop?
I'm working with a lawyer client who has a table-based, outdated site. Her nav links consist of a jumble of topics and static pages in one long sidebar list on the home page. I'm moving her site to Wordpress and I've recommended that she organize the site based on categories that roughly match the topics/keywords she wants to rank highest for in Google. The site will be much better organized and coded and the URLs for the new launch will be much stronger for SEO by being targeted and coded properly. So the site should rank better after, right? Right??? I know that when Google crawls the new architecture, it's not going to find the expected long sidebar list of internal nav links. It'll find better, more keyword targeted internal nav links. But will that keep the site from getting dropped off page 1? I'm speaking w/ the client tomorrow and if she's going to drop or get bounced around, I feel like I should prepare her and let her know roughly what might happen. I'm thinking based on my current understanding that I should tell her to expect to be bounced around for a few weeks, but in the end she should rank higher than before. What would you do/say?

Google place 7 -> 40, why??
Hi, my new site http://www.ie-mac.com/ just dropped 33 places from place 7 to place 40 on goolge.com , for the two word combo: ie mac Did I screw up? How? Background Info: 1 Two weeks ago I moved my whole site from my old domain http://ie4mac.com/ to http://www.ie-mac.com/ with the goal of obtaining a good ranking for the keyword combo: ie mac. Apparantly tis worked- The site showed up on place 7. 2. I changed the design of the site and put the video on the front page. Good so far, still place 7, but: The text that google was showing was half the ALT-Tag of the Video first-slide image and the other half was our trademark disclaimer. 3. I changed the ALT tag and the disclaimer to give users a more inviting text on google. THis worked, google now shows the text as intended, but: For the desired combo: ie mac the site dropped to palce 40!! My best guesses at this point: 1. I'm using wordpress as a CMS and the all-in-one-seo-pack plugin to set custom titles etc., and the google XML sitemap plugin to buid an XML sitemap and notify google. During the couple of days, I made a lot of chnages to the site. Could be that the plugin pinged google a lot of times. Could this be part of the problem? 2. The site is hosted at http://www.ixwebhosting.com/ , because they give users dedicated IPs and a good price. However, the loadlevel on the server I'm on is always very high (10 - 20). I'm using a CDN for images and a caching plugin so the site loads in less than 2 seconds according to http://tools.pingdom.com/ . Unless the cache is empty, then it's 9 seconds. This is not great, but it's also no new, so: What could have caused the sudden drop from 7 to 40?? Thank you and kind regards

Is the www and non www isue realy seen by Google as duplicate content?
I realy don't understand how Google could posibly devaluate a link because the site displays the same content with www and without www. I mean did somebody recently saw a devaluation of a domain because of this isue? I somehow can not belive this because it is the standard when geting a new webspace that the new website display the same content with and without www. Is a redirect realy necessary?
