Is .co worth the time?

Is it worth the time and money to invest in .co?
-
Then I wouldn't mess with a .co unless you wanted to buy up all the TLDs for you brand name. For instance, if I were HP, then I would get HP.co for trademark reasons.

Thanks for your reply, I market in US

Let's say you work really hard to make nasehi.co a very interesting and valuable site but I own nasehi.com. You know that lots of your hard work is going to enrich me because lots of your visitors will type nasehi.com instead of nasehi.co. Maybe I will get 10% of your type in traffic. Also, some people building links to nasehi.co will by error make them to nasehi.com.
Thank you!

The only time I think a ccTLD is worth it is if it's for marketing to a specific country. I don't think I have ever seen a .co. I have seen many .co.uk though. What country are you in and what countries are you marketing to?

What tools and metrics do you use to show a topic's search interest over time?
I have a foundation repair client that is down in leads for the structural repair portion of their business. They have not lost any major rankings, but leads are down compared to last year. They asked if people are searching for this type of work less this year compared to last. I checked Google Trends and Keyword Planner data but found very different results. Is either of these tools accurate, or is there a better tool to use?

Is it time to go https sitewide?
Hello mozzers, We are currently running a Magento 1 store and in the planning phase of migrating to Magento 2. As an eCommerce website, it goes without saying that we use secure pages for all pages where exchange of sensitive information is required, however, we do not use https on all pages. I recently read this Moz article stating that the adoption of sitewide https is at around 50% for top websites. I see Moz is also using it. I know that at this time right now, Google states not giving an SEO bump for https pages, but part of me thinks the time might be right (while re-platforming to M2) to make the move if this is what the future is going to be. Do you agree? Is this something that everyone will eventually have to do?

I am ambiguous about whether 301 redirects would be needed for http -> https ?
Also, is there a how-to or checklist to making the switch to sitewide https in order not to inadvertently cause an SEO drop? Thanks!0 -
Consistent drop every time after ranking good for few days: Same experience?
Hi all, We been facing this ranking fluctuation issue for over an year. Every time we made some changes for better optimisation. We improve rank but eventually drop after few days. Most of the changes we employed are On-page like page loading, fixing broken links & redirects, page titles optimisation, etc. When can see the ranking improvement for our main keywords and related keywords for a while and we drop with in a week eventually. I wonder if someone face the same issue and any thoughts on this scenario? Thanks

Why is Google.co.uk showing so many US retailers on search queries?
Over the last couple of years Google seems to be showing more and more irrelevant search results in the field I am based in (dietary supplements) with searches for products coming back with results which highlight US vendors. Given I am in google.co.uk and actually logged in as well, why is Google so far off with their results lately?

Google.co.uk vs pages from the UK - anyone noticed any changes?
We've started to notice some changes in the rankings of Google UK and Google pages from the UK. Pages from the UK have always typically ranked higher, however it seems like these are slipping, and Google UK pages (pages from the web) are climbing. We've noticed a similar thing happening in the Bing/Yahoo algorithm as well. Just wondered if anyone else has anyone else noticed this? Thanks

Can visitors duration time affect Google Rankings?
Does the time a person stays on a website affect Search Rankings? If so, could the lower time from Adwords Visitors be effecting organic rankings? And the same for bounce rate. If Non-Paid Search Traffic Avg. Visit Duration time is 3:55 and Paid Search Traffic Avg. Visit Duration is 1:59 Could the low duration time be affecting our website rankings?

Is Yahoo Directory worth the money?
Our listing is up for renewal in Yahoo Directory. Is there a way to measure the impact the listing had vs. the year before without the listing beyond direct referrals? Thanks!
